1512/Recovery

Recovery
Date of Scene:	26 May 2016
Location:	Mitakihara - Residential District
Synopsis:	in the aftermath of the Tarribad attack, Katherine recovers in the bedroom of Naomi Yomada.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
The sound of soft music fills the air as Naomi Yomada sits at the desk in her room. Her homework is done and now its playtime. She's gotten her hands on an old stereo. That stereo is now in pieces and she is exploring how the thing functions. "Hmmm I wonder what this does?" She asks as she looks over an old tube.

A soft pink colored fairy happens to be attending to the girl that Naomi brought back from the fight with the Terribad. She gently places a cool wet rag on Katherine's head. Where is Jihl? Thats an unknown at this time.

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    Jihl happened to be sitting on a shelf nearby, watching over Kat as the girl places a cool rag on her forehead. This time, however, Kat lets out a groan. She doesn't sit up right away, but she does rub her face. "Ow......that stung." She sighs a bit as Jihl flies on over and lands on Kat's chest. "You okay, Kat?" "Yeah, I'm fine. Just seems that Wind doesn't exactly stop electricity." She says as she opens her eyes and....looks around. "This isn't my home. Where am I?'

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi happened to be putting the stereo back together when she head the voice of Katherine. She gives a smile to her, "Oh Hi! You're at my home. In my bedroom." BOOM! The stero explodes in a gout of black smoke. When that clears, there is a small flame on one of her pigtails. Lilac quickly blows it out and giggles. "Sorry bout that. It happens!"

The young girl is covered in soot now as she moves to the edge of the bed. "I'm Naomi Yomada. I was the girl trying to protect her mom?" Now the moment of truth, reveal who she is or do the secret identity thing? Secret identity! For now anyway. "When I came back, I seen that Pretty Cure fighting that huge monster. She beat it up! When my mom was freed, I asked the Pretty Cure to bring you back here so you would be safe."

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    "If you say so sister." Jihl says, but Kat remains quiet. She rolls onto her side. "Thanks then. I figured I'd be too big for someone of your size to carry me. How's your mom?" She smiles a bit and swings her legs over the edge of the bed to sit up....slowly of course.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi facepalms. Oops! She just realized that if she can see this girl's fairy, odds are she can see her fairy and that means that she just got found out. She blushes a little. "Fine yes, I'm Cure Spark. At least sometimes now?" She giggles. "Umm When I transform I'm stronger. Thats how I was able to lift you."

Lilac floats a little closer to Jihl and looks her over. "Hello, I'm Lilac! I'm from the Blue Sky Kingdom. Where are you from? You don't look like you are from the Blue Sky Kingdom." She smiles and wipes some soot off of herself.

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    Jihl smiles. "I'm from Gearworld myself, so no...not from the Blue Sky Kingdom." Kat giggles softly at Jihl. "Making new friends already, huh Jihl?" Kat then looks to Naomi and winks. "I can keep secrets pretty well, Naomi. So don't worry. And, as you already know, I'm Sentinel Spirit. I'm guessing you changed when you wanted to help someone....your mom, right?"

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada blushes, "Well, Sorta." She fidgets around a bir as she tries to put into words what happened. "Well I sorta met this guy. He was really cute! He gave me this crystal and told me that if my feelings were true, it would bloom. It did." She pulls out out her prechan mirror. The pink and silver heart shaped mirror is definitely cute. "I turned into a Pretty Cure. I am still having trouble believing it. It was just so cool!" She blushes a little. "Oh the man I met, turns out he wasn't just some guy distributing love seeds and making magical girls. He is sorta... God."

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    Kat tilts her head to Naomi as she listens, but Jihl looks a little skeptical. 'God? you're kidding right?' Kat looks to Jihl. "Don't make fun of her, Jihl. For a good many years, I thought I had an imaginary friend." She says before turning back to Naomi. "God? Well....considering fairies are real...I'm not gonna dispute God as real in this instance."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
"Says a fairy from another planet." Naomi states with a smirk. "Really though, to look as good cute as he did ya have to be something!" She giggles playfully.

Lilac however is not amused. "Hey! Don't disrespect Blue-sama! He takes care of the Earth and everyone on it! He is really nice and helps everyone out! If not for him, I'd have been caught by the Phantom Empire just like a lot of my friends and family! He's been trying to find girls to become Precure so they can fight against the Phantom Empire and put an end to their war against Earth!"

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    Kat giggles at Lilac. "That's why I said not to make fun." Kat says to Lilac. "Don't worry, I beat ya to the punch." She then looks to Naomi. "that's what I said. But I didn't see the guy, so I don't know."

Jihl humphs and plants herself on Kat's shoulder. "Don't be like that, Jihl. You didn't see the guy, so you don't know either." jihl shrugs. "But anyways.....If ya ever need help ahead of time. Lemme know, okay?"

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada nods, "Okay thanks, Kat. That'll be a big help. I wonder if there are other Precures in the area though. I got lucky when I fought with that terribad. Things could have gotten really ugly. I think it would be better to be working with others so I don't wind up getting really hurt."

Lilac giggles a little, "Silly! There are Precures all over the world right now! All of them are fighting the Phantom Empire! Don't worry, you will get better at it and you will get more cool cards and we can have fun and stuff!"

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    "There's more than just precures here. But, all you need to do is make friends, and for all you know, you might get more help than you realize." Kat says to Naomi and Lilac. "I mean....look at me. Jihl gets pretty silly when she gets to know you.....even if she doesn't believe everything at first." 'HEY!' Kat smirks at Jihl. "But, even while the Phantom empire is trying to make war with earth, Red Tree is also trying to convert earth into someplace boring. So.....defending earth work to both of our benefits, hm? I'll try and help you find more precures though."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada smiles brightly, "Yay! I will help out wherever I can. I dunno how much good I can do though. I sorta got lucky fighting last time. Also I should probably transform and get a good look at myself. I mean, Mom didn't even recognize me when I checked on her after the fight." She looks down at her mirror and considers if she wants to take the chance. She is at home after all and anyone could knock on the door at any time.

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    "Don't. At least not right now. Make sure no one else is home with you before you try it. it'd be just your luck someone would walk in on you as you changed." Kat has a bit of wisdom there. "Believe me, my own parents would freak if they saw me change."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada nods, "You have a point. I'm sure my moms would bounce off the walls if they knew I was going to be out putting myself in danger. Then again, they know I blow stuff up all the time and tear apart electronics which can electricute me. So they might not panic. Still, probably for the best. So, how are you feeling? Better?"

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    "Better than what I was." Kat admits, which has Jihl hugging her. "Thankfully, You helped out. So you work on electronics? Do they....frequently explode?"

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi shrugs and laughs a little. "Sometimes. I'm an inventor. I love making things. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. You can only get good at stuff if you actually practice and try right? I've always been really curious. I love figuring out how things work. I think I got that from my one mom. She's a mechanic. Its why the Terribad had spark plugs. She deals with that stuff all the time."

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    Kat smiles a bit. "An inventor, huh?" She then takes a deep breath. 'I'm sorry if it sounds like I have no idea what you're talking about, but.....I don't. The best thing I've done is create music. So...they're....not even in the same bal park, I think."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada giggles a little, "Just different areas really. You invent songs, I invent devices. It all starts with curiosity. How does this work or that go together. Then it goes further! What if I do this or that? Will it work? Will it sound good? Will it function right? Will it sound horrible? Will it explode? We just do things a little different, right?"

Lilac laughs a little. "You really fit the bill of a Precure!" She giggles and plops on top of Naomi's head.

A knock comes from the door and an older woman, in her early fourties just smiles, "Oh good, you are awake. Naomi was worried about you. I don't know how she managed to get you home and before me at that but I'm glad she did. Are you hungry? Thirsty? Can we get you anything?" Its the same woman who was used to fuel the terribad.

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    "Just like music. Will it sound horrible? Will it sound good? Different? I had a song partly worked out for a friend of mine as that happened." Kat says before the woman comes in asking how she is. "I'm fine. Don't worry. I think I can actually walk downstairs, but if you have a little something to nibble on and sip, I'd be grateful."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Mrs. Yomada gives a smile and a nod. She simply steps out closes the door behind her."

"You are right. It's kinda fun! I've always been really curious about how things work. Its why onee-chan won't let me in her room anymore! I blew up her mp3 player not to long ago. I just wanted to see how it worked and I tried to make it better. It didn't work."

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    "Well....you're not supposed to take other people's things and take them apart. That'd be just mean." Kat says to Naomi. "Seems your mom's still in the dark though."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi giggles, "She took my tools! It was only fair." She giggles a little more. "We are family and thats what families do." She laughs playfully. "Besides, If I don't cause oneechan trouble wh0o will?" Then there is that comment. She quickly responds, "She can't remember what happened. Its probably for the best."

The door opens and in walks Mrs. Yomada with two plates of cake and a pair of fruit flavored sodas. "Here you go. Its some more of your momma's birthday cake. Hope you both enjoy it." She states to Naomi before she exits.

Katherine Tempest has posed:
Katherine Tempest smiles as she takes the birthday cake. "When I finish this cake, I'm gonna head out. But thank you for carrying me back here. I'm glad you were able to help your mom, Naomi." She then chuckles. "Don't give her too much trouble. And, hopefully your mom won't get into any more trouble after this....but you'll be into danger all the time."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
"Better me then my family. At least I'm Pretty Cure. I can better deal with the danger. My family can't. They would die trying to protect me though. So I am going to do my best to keep it a secret from them. I don't want my family to get hurt." Naomi frowns and pokes her cake before taking a bite. "I think my world just got a lot bigger though."

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    "Definitely. Same as mine when it happened to me." Kat says as she eats the cake. She was starving. "Most families are protecive of their young ones. My father's in the navy, so he'd probably try and help, but I don't think he could do anything either." She then sighs and takes another big bite of the cake.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada nods and eats a little more of her cake. Its chocolate which means she's devouring it rather fast. "I am still in shock though! I'm a Magical Girl! I never even thought I could ever be anything like this! I thought I was going to be a normal girl who helped change the world from a distance. Now I'm doing that on the front line."

Katherine Tempest has posed:
Katherine Tempest laughs at Naomi. "You aren't the only one....remember that." She says as she finishes her cake. "Thank you for helping me out, but, I should stop imposing upon you and your family. I'm sure we'll run into each other again."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada smiles, "You aren't imposing but I won't keep you here! IT was nice meeting you. You be safe out there and don't get in over your head." She giggles. "Oh and ummm, Wind doesn't exactly go well against lightning. Ground the lightning and you are good!" She laughs.

Katherine Tempest has posed:
    "Hey. I'm pretty new at this too. So I'm learning as I go." Kat says before she gives Naomi a hug. "And thanks for the tip. Hopefully I'll be able to use it next time." She then takes the plate and goes to put it in the sink, before leaving....waving to Mrs Yomada as she goes. "See ya Naomi!" She says waving to Naomi.
