Perfect Angels

Location:	Mitakihara - Infinity University
Synopsis:	Seth, Haruna, and Yuzuki run into one another after school.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
It's after school in one of the empty club rooms where Yuzuki had been working on her laptop. The case and laptop are still open, making it obvious she was working on music should anyone wander in. Yuzuki herself has smuggled in a snack and is siting at a window, working her way through said snack while watching the clouds roll past.

There's the hint of music coming from her laptop, but otherwise she's in there alone. She might be waiting on someone, or she's just wasting time. Either way.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa is in a tank top, and workout shorts. Behind her is a boy- a couple years younger, with white hair and also he's dressed in a red hoodie and blue jeans and chasing Haruna with a stopwatch. This is Corvus. The seagull mascot in human form.

They're running up and down the club room hallway. Bacccck. Forth. Baccckkk... Forthhhh.

Then there's a hint of music.

Why is that music familiar. She stops, motions for Corvus to stop who stops the stopwatch. "Okay that was like ten times in five minutes. Not great." he says.

Haruna is ignoring Corvus for the moment as she peeeeeeeks through the door.

"Hiiii Yuzu-chan!" says Haruna from the doorway. "Are'cha working?" she asks.

Seth Locke has posed:
And walking the hallways, carrying a satchel with the logo for Infinity, and a laptop/tablet in his other arm, is Seth, who carries a pensive demeanor. He's almost caught off-guard by Haruna's running.

He decides to approach Haruna. "Konichiwa", His tone is neutral, but towards the friendly side. And then, his gaze falls upon Yuzuki, to whom he repeats the same introduction.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori leans towards the window and says, "I guess it kind of still the afternoon isn't it?" at Seth's comment. She spins on her desk to face Haruna, waving to her while hopping from the top of the desk. "Heeey Haru-chan. I'm being lazy, I was working. The song wouldn't compile properly, I think I messed up with one of the sound libraries when I uh...-" she pauses, "I think the data's corrupted. It has a weird static to it." Whether she can actually hear it or if it's even there is up for interpretation, but that's the fun of being an artist. You'll swear there are flaws.

Leaning to the side, she waves to new guy and bird guy. "Hey you two. I know why I'm here. I know why she's here" She points to Haruna, then to Corvus, "I know why he's here. Who're you?" this is asked in a playful tone at least, so she's probably just having fun.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa steps on in and-- a boy! "Oh! Hello!" a pause. "Who are you?" pause. "I'm Haruna Kurosawa." she says. She motions to the boy. "This is Corvus, my little brother." she insists. They look nothing alike.

"Yo." says Corvus, because he doesn't have much to add.

"Hey....you're familiar. Are we in the same grade level?" she asks at Seth.

She looks back to Yuzuki as she steps on in and sits down in a chair and leans forward to listen.

"I just hear music! But my musical taste is kinda questionable anyways." she says. "So maybe I don't hear anything bad." she says.

She turns toward's Seth. "What do you think?"

Seth Locke has posed:
Well, might as well make an introduction. And so, the american boy introduces himself, "I'm Seth Katsumoto Locke, 10th grade student, member of Science and Electronics clubs." He bows his head. "Pleased to meet you!"

He looks at Yuzuki's workstation, "Well, punch it up, then we might be able to have a look at it."

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori leans over and says in a stage whisper to Haruna, "You're not going to hit on another exchange student again are you?" then she tilts her head back and forth at the mention that he looks familiar. "He doesn't really, does he? Or does he? You don't see a lot of Americans out here."

With a shrug, she says, "Oh, oh right. Yuzuki Amemori, nice to meet you." Though she trails off as he mentions going to look at her workstation. There's a sidelong look while she asks, "Are you familiar with sound design and engineering and all of that? It's not quite the same as a computer issue and it's not the speakers or that off-sound would be throughout the whole song and not just at clips."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa huffs at Yuzuki. "I am a perfect angel." she insists. She can prove it! She has feather rings in one henshin form!

She looks back to Seth. "Oh.. you're American?" she asks. "Hannah-chan is too!" she says.

"But she's in a grade further..." she says.

She taps her bottom lip as she looks back. "Nope. Not a sound engineer. Is that like a train enginner. Wait. Are there. Tiny people. Driving Sound files for other sound files?..." she says with wide eyes.

"Oh for the love of..." says Corvus.

Seth Locke has posed:
"More like half-American, actually", corrects Seth. "My father is from the United States, my mother was Japanese." He frowns at the mention of a 'Hannah'. But... Nah, it couldn't be!... Could it?

"A sound engineer is someone who studies acoustics and sound recording and dabbles in its manipulation to produce music", he explains to Haruna.

He looks back to Yuzuki, "I can't say I have, no. But that doesn't mean there might not be a problem which we can't figure out." 'We', not 'I'.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori reaches out and patpats Haruna's hair when she says she's a perfect angel. "I still have to tell Hannah about you hitting on the German kid." Still ribbing her it seems! She's about to say something when Haruna asks if sound engineers are the same as train engineers. This dumbfounds her for a moment. She doesn't want to say what comes to mind there. Instead she eventually says, "You've been to the shows I've helped set up haven't you Haru-chan?"

Looking to Seth after, she shrugs, "It's something with the file itself, not with the hardware. I'm pretty sure I just need to redownload it and run it through again. I might tear it apart at a base level and check for noise to zero out too. That's... you're not going to listen to my unfinished work. Let's just leave it at that, sorry." She points to Haru, "I don't even let friends listen to my work before it's done unless... it's not common."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa huffs! "You will not! Besides, like, German guy is with Naru. Also. I like girls." she insists. "Mainly. My secret plan to shove those two together worked! Maybe. I think it was gonna happen anyways."

"But. Like. /Sauerkraut/?" she insists.

Yeah, Haruna is weird. This is a thing Yuzu has dealt with before.

"Yes, I have!" pause. "Oh, so that's a sound engineer?" she asks. "Setting things up?" she looks back at Seth.

"I should introduce you to Hannah-chan. She's the Captain of the Kickboxing Club! I'm a member." she says.

"Yup." she nods matter of factly at Yuzu's method of releasing music.

Seth Locke has posed:
"Fine by me", Seth replies to Yuzuki, not taking any offense. "But I was just saying this because it's not impossible that the internal resonance of the speakers could rattle something up inside that's come loose, causing a static effect. And it could happen only when a given range of frequencies show up."

He turns his head to Haruna. "Not just setting things up, but that is an important part, yes. It's also about enhancement and suppression of frequencies, adding effects and other stuff."

He smiles. "Kickboxing? Wow... Then I'm sure you and Hannah-san must be very good."

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori leans back against the wall and says to Haruna, "Sauerkraut is no worse than miso if you're really getting into it. I like kimchi too though and that smells... not so good." She grimaces at the thought, then grins, "Tastes great though!" Arms crossed, she shakes her head, "He's a comptuer nerd, same area, different focus Haru-chan."

Head turned to Seth, she shakes her head, "It's the sound libraries I'm using Locke, one of the drum snares is the one coming across strangely. I don't even fully know if it's in my head and I'm worrying about nothing." She points to it while adding, "That's why I was snacking and getting away from it. It's like backing away from a painting."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa purses her lips in deep thought. She nods. "Well alright." she says. "Well no! I mean. Sauerkraut!" she says. "I mean. Like. Naru and him. You know. Alexis. Sauerkraut!" she insists.

Yeah this probably makes no sense, but she head tilts a little.

"So it's just like a file problem then maybe. Cna't you just switch out files or something? Computers work like that, right?"

Corvus sort of holds his forehead as he sits in his seat.

"Yes. Yes they can work like that." says Corvus for Yuzu-chan.

Seth Locke has posed:
"Well, I'm sure you'll figure it out, then", Seth says. Then, he shakes his head. "A nerd? Please. I do get out."

He looks at Haruna. "Well, if the problem is in the file, you see, Anemori-san might have to download the sound bank to correct the problem."

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and gives Haru a look of pure confusion. "I don't get it. I'm telling Osaka that you're calling her cabbage." She taps her chin and asks, "Or her boyfriend maybe."

She nods to Haru at her question, "That's what I was planning, I have to do it from home. I don't like putting my computer on the school network, always felt weird right?"

She sticks her tongue out at Seth and says, "Hey! Nothing wrong with being a nerd, thanks." She stretches out, standing on her toes and makes her way to the laptop, poking at a few things. "Mostly though, I want to email the guy that made the pack-" she frowns, "I should have done that from my phone."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa pinches the bridge of her nose. "Argh! Forget it!" says Haruna. She looks over to Yuzuki and head tilts. "But like. This place has super fast internet." she insists.

She looks back and forth between Seth and Yuzuki. She is not growing a conniving look. But she does say.

"You know..."

"Nerds should stick together." she says coyly.

Seth Locke has posed:
"...The pack was custom made by someone?", Seth asks Yuzuki, as if at some point a lightbulb lit up in his head.

He looks at Haruna. He quirks his lips upwards, "...Right..."

He looks back to Yuzuki. "Tell me, what measures have you been using to protect your computer?"

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks to Haru and says, "If you try that with me, I'm going to totally tell Hannah you were hitting on the German guy." She points at her for emphasis, then adds, "Watch if I don't!"

Arms crossed, she huffs at Haru and turns back to her laptop, poking at it. "It's a public network! I don't know what they do here on those!"

Then she looks to Seth, "The pack was, yes, he compiled it and did some of the instrument work. I don't know how to play the stuff he was using." Then there's a pause as she closes her laptop and locks the case at his question. "Protect it?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa huffs. "I was hitting on him for Naru!" she huffs. "Besides, they're totally cute together n' stuff." she insists. "I saw at that party the other day at Mamoru-sans!" she insists.

"They put like. School announcements and stuff over it." she says.

"Really you should have SOMETHING connected to it. Just for that. How about your cellphone!" she says.

She peeks back at Seth and then back at Yuzuki as she huffs and eye narrows.

Seth Locke has posed:
"Yes, protect it", Seth reiterates. More questions follow, "How well do you know this guy? Is he trustworthy?" In explanation, "Sometimes, packs which look corrupted may have been adultered with tiny programs that place backdoors on your machines to facilitate file accessing. In other words... Trojans."

He looks momentarily at Haruna, in his face signs he recognizes some of the people she's talking about.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori twirls her finger and says, "Hey hey hey, I know what I saw and you totally weren't hitting on him for Naru at that point!" She grabs her chair and settles in it, arm draped over the back, chin on said arm. "My phone is connected, I don't care if you guys get weird spam mail for it." She points to her computer, "That though, is expensive! So it stays unconnected to a network used by turbonerds."

"And weird otaku" She adds softer. Looking to Seth after, she shakes her head, "I know him better than I know you Locke! I did a show with him the other day!" She points to it and laughs, "It's a sound thing."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa frowns a bit and crosses her arms a bit and leans forward as she huffs. "Staying connected on who's who is important and school events!" she says. She would add stuff about magical girl responsibilities but Seth is right there.

Corvus is texting at someone else. Probably Boris/Viktor. Familiar/Mascot bros 4 lyfe.

She head tilts at Seth a moment. "Do you know any of these people I'm talking about?" she asks. "It looked like you did!" she says.

Seth Locke has posed:
"It's a sound thing", Seth repeats in agreement.

"And I have my tablet connected, but it's more because I need to get the texts for studying and send school projects to the teachers' dropboxes." He smiles, "Technology only brings us closer together, or so it is said."

And he looks at Haruna, "I know Osaka-san. And Chiba-san, I spoke to him once."

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori points to Haru and says, "I know you." She points to Seth, "I guess I know him now." then she shrugs and says, "That's about it and that's all I'm worried about Haru-chan, I know more people from shows and that community and I get updates from them!" She taps her foot while adding, "Well and Seishi. She doesn't really call unless something weird happened though."

Leans back against the back of the chair in a way that's probably not super comfortable, not that she seems bothered by it. "I send my homework and schoolwork in, but that's on a tablet. The laptop is mine and mine alone!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa ughs and spins in her chair. spin spin spin office-like chair as she stops herself. Then looks green. "That was a bad idea."

She takes a moment to calm her stomach.

"Toldcha about that." says Corvus between texts.

She looks at Seth and Yuzuki again. "Naru-chan is a good person~ So is Chiba-kun~" she says.

"Might not be here if it wasn't for Chiba-kun- and well a lotta people!" she says.

Seth Locke has posed:
The american boy nods to Haruna, "I suppose they are alright." He motions as if to make a question, but then he stops. Perhaps some other time.

"And now, I have to get going", Seth says, making sure he has his things. "We'll see each other around, I'll bet." As he reaches the door, there's the common japanese salute, "Sayonara."

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori watches HAru spin and spin and spin and slowly reaches a foot out to try and stop her suddenly. Then quickly drops her foot when Haru does it for her. It wasn't as funny that way though! "I know Osaka, I don't know a Sonny Chiba, do you know him? That's awesome."

To Seth, she says, "Have fun!" Before looking back to Haru, "Soooo... what are you training for really?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa manages to not throw up and not dizzy out. "Bye Seth!" she says.

She looks down to Yuzuki and smirks. "I'm training for the Universal World Tournament where magical girls from different worlds beat the shit out of one an---"

Corvus interrupts! "She's training for exposition matches next week the Kickboxing Club is doing."

"Phooey, you're no fun." she says as he hrmphs and crosses her arms across her chest.

"But yeah. Just training for that." she says with a smile. "Not everything is some sort of magical ulterior motive." she insists.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori slowly nods as Haruna describes the imaginary tournament before saying, "A shame, I bet I could just throw people out of the imaginary ring there. Or stress out about a gree tile, either or."

Leaning forward against the back of the chair (Thanks to how she's sitting) she says, "Not everything is magical, but I was asking as a general rule, maybe you joined a new club or something right?"

She looks over her shoulder, opening her case and turning her laptop back on. "How goes your shop thing?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa grins. "Oh, Gullwing Coffee. It goes good! Gonna open just before the Holidays start at this rate."

Corvus says. "Still need to determine the initial menu. Nothing too big. Less is more with a new shop." he says.

"Right!" she says.

She leans forward. "About that magic stuff." she says. "How ya been holding up?" she asks. "My introduction to it was very stressful and weird." she says. "So I always ask new people if they need any help." she smiles.

"But you have your own friend to go to for advice!" she says.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori taps her head and says, "I get to talk to myself in my sleep for questions. He's a weird one." Not that she isn't. With a yawn, she shrugs though. "I'm doing alright with it. Dreams are weird too. So is the stuff we deal with- not that I apparently get to do the dream thing a lot. I Keep running into fights and it's the weirdest thing. There was this one with shadow girls climbing out of the lake nearby and... eh."

There's a shrug, "ARe you going to really open it? Who are you hiring?" Beat, "Is it going to be year round or a seasonal thing?"
