Tokyo Mew Mew

The world is in danger. An alien race known as the Cyniclons are attacking the earth. They are using a dark form of magic to twist common animals into deadly enemies known as Predasites (aka Chimera Animas). In an attempt to stop the Cyniclons, two men send out a wave of energy into Tokyo. A wave which would infuse the DNA of endangered animals into several people causing them to develop magical abilities, enabling them to become more than just average humans. Enabling them to become Mew Mews! Now with the genetics of these endangered animals running through their veins, these girls must learn to balance high school life, love lives, a part time job, random animal instincts being triggered by everyday things, and of course saving the world.

• Ichigo Momomiya - Leader of the Mew Mews, Ichigo is fused with a Iriomote Cat.
• Minto Aizawa - A rich ballerina and a Mew Mew Too, Minto is fused with a Blue Lorikeet
• Retasu Midorikawa - A meek young woman who is a Mew Mew, She is fused with a Finless Porpoise.
• Bu-Ling Huang - An orphan performer who is a mew mew! She is fused with a Golden Lion Tamarin.
• Zakuro Fujiwara - A famous Model and Mew Mew! She is fused with a Grey Wolf.
• Ryou Shinogane - One of the heads of Project Mew Mew and manager of the Cafe Mew Mew.
• Keiichiro Akasaka - The second head of Project Mew Mew, Baker, and Owner of Cafe Mew Mew.
• Masaya Aoyama - Member of the Kendo Club and boyfriend of Ichigo.

• Quiche - The first of the Cyniclons to come to Earth. Has a Crush on Ichigo
• Tart - The second of the Cyniclons. He is the youngest and a little reckless.
• Pie - The third of the Cyniclons. Devout to Deep Blue and highly intelligent.

The Questions

• 'What is it all about?' -Tokyo Mew Mew is about the Animal infused magical girls who are fighting to save the world from an apparent alien invasion. There is a lot environmental awareness in the subtext of this theme. From the way that the Cafe Mew Mew does business to the fact that all Mew Mews are infused with the DNA of endangered animals. As far as how this theme could incorporate into the world of M2, The answer is, simply. The theme takes place in Tokyo. There is only one additional room that would need made and that is the addition of Cafe Mew Mew which is the secret base of the Mew Mews. Not to mention a great place for coffees, Teas, Cakes and Confectionaries. There is of course a surprise twist in this theme. That twist comes in the form of the Cyniclons. The twist being that they are not aliens at all. They were originally from Earth. Their actions caused the earth to be brought to the edge of destruction through pollution and such. Fearing for their safety, they ran from the failing Earth for a new world only to find the New World just as bad as the old one. So their goal has changed. They want to come back and reclaim their home. Earth.

• 'Project Mew' - Project Mew is the designation of the mission formed by Ryou Shirogane and Keiichiro Akasaka to combat the Cyniclons and the threat of the Predasites (or Chimera Animas). Using the DNA of endangered animals, The two men searched for 5 girls who would be able to accept the DNA of the animals and allow them to use their new genetic makeup to save the world. These girls would become part of the Mew Mews, following the orders of Ryou and Keiichiro to save the planet from these invaders. Mews are given a special amulet which allows them to transform into a hybrid of their normal selves and the animals they are infused with. This grants them great power as well access to magical items which aide in their work. The Two men also supply the Mew Mews with a secret base, under the guise of a Job at Cafe Mew Mew.

• 'Mew Identifiers' - All Mews are marked in some way. Usually by a symbol or just various marks on their body. This is how people can find them. Just because they have been infused does not mean that the extra DNA is activated. Sometimes it needs a push. This can come in the form of being at the center of an attack. When activated, Mews will typically exhibit some signs of the animal they have been infused with. This is not always the case. Ichigo exhibits Cat ears and tail while Retasu has no outward signs of the species they are infused with. Along with these identifiers, A mew will at times succumb to animal instincts. This is very clearly seen by Ichigo's Cat moments where she falls and lands on her feet or is seen going after a butterfly, or craving fish.

• 'Mu Aqua' - A special gemstone found typically in the ocean or even occasionally deep underground, Mu Aqua will react with an infused person or being, amplifying their power. When used by Retasu, she lost her legs and gained a porpoise tail as well as the ability to breathe underwater for a short time. This is also used by the Cyniclons in creating hybrid Predasites which are much much stronger then even infused predasites. This substance is very strong and can not be easily destroyed.

• 'How does this work for OCs?' - The two guys, Ryou Shirogane (Elliot Grant) and Keiichiro Akasaka (Wesley J Coolridge III) actively scanned 5 girls who had the right DNA to actually be affected by their Infusion wave. The thing is, they sent out a wave. Any teenage girl with the right DNA would be affected and not just those 5 girls. That is how OCs could easily fit into this theme.

The Beginning Timeline

• 10 years ago - The Cyniclons, A race of beings from a different dimensions Earth, set out to find a new home. Their own earth, completely ravaged by pollution and environmental destruction became uninhabitable.

• 8 Months ago - The Cyniclons discover an unstable wormhole that leads This Dimension's Earth. They begin sending Infusers (devices used to create Predisites) to study this version of Earth and discover that the wormhole only lasts a short time after things pass through it.

• 6 Months ago - Professor Shinigane, Ryou's Dad, Discovers the Cyniclon threat. He creates Project Mew and tests it on 1 person. The Test fails. The Professor is killed. Ryou takes over his father's work. He meets Keiichiro Akasaka. They become a team and work together to continue Project mew.

• 3 Months ago - Ground is broken on a new Cafe in Tokyo called Cafe Mew Mew, Owned by Keiichiro Akasaka and Ryou Shinigane.

• September 15, 2017 - Cafe Mew Mew officially opens.

• September 19, 2017 - A Search for people fitting of Mew Metamorphosis leads to the discovery of 5 specific individuals. They release a concentrated wave with the ability to copy the DNA of certain Red Data animals onto those susceptible.

• September 19, 2017 - The wormhole opens. The Cyniclons move a cloaked base through the wormhole, crashing it on a small island off the coast of Japan.
