I Scream, You Scream...

Location:	Pikarigaoka - Seiyou Public School
Synopsis:	A trip to a confectionary shop is interrupted by an ice cream hurling monster!

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Its late in the day. The Seiyou Hero Club has the night to themselves. Well. most of them do. The fact is, Fu is the president of the club and that means she has her own things that need done. Thankfully, She doesn't have to deal with the website. She leaves that to Togo. She does have to prepare the blackboard for tomorrows club. That is what she is up to right now.

The smell of chalk permiates the are as she writes on the blackboard. A weird looking creature is drawn. The words underneath are What is a 'Vertex?' She has a few notes jotted down about things. Quietly she sets the chalk down and just turns away from the board. Tearing up a little, she slams her fist down on the former teachers desk. The sound of her hand hitting echos around the room. It rings out down the hall ways and even into the foyer. She sighs and just sits down. "I should of told them! They should have known before this started!"

She sighs softly, "I guess I'll have to make the best of a bad situation. I'll go get some sweets for the hero club. Sweets make everything better right?"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato was in the Flower-Arranging Club. Her friend Haru-kun got her into it after her accident, and... it's been a solace. With a bouquet of silk flowers on her lap, she tells everyone s he'll be back - she wants to put them into the teachers' lounge and rolls down the hall. And maybe she'll see if there's any sweets herself. She goes by the door to the kitchen right as she sees someone head in this direction. "Oh, hi there," she states. "I don't think we've met...?"

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki looks up and quickly wipes her eyes, "Oh hello! A pleasure to meet you." She smiles a little, "Oh! I thought Togo-chan was the only one in a wheel chair here. Please come in." She states as she stands up and sorta blocks off the black board. "Welcome to the Seiyou Hero Club. I'm Fu Inubouzaki, President of the club!"

The room itself a is a classroom mostly. Its been used for storage and there are boxes around. No desks. It looks like maybe someone has been bringing in a few bean bag chairs and the like but mostly empty. Above the blackboard is a sign. That sign reads, The Five Tenets of the Seiyou Middle School Hero Club. 1. Give a good Greeting. 2. Try not to give up. 3. Sleep Well, Eat Well. 4. If you're troubled, talk to someone!" 5. You're likely to succeed if you try.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato looks at the board. "Hero Club? Never heard of it." She rolls closer, looking around to see how many people there are. "Never give up, huh? I almost gave up... on myself when I had my accident..."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki shakes her head, "Try not to give up. No one expects anyone to be able to handle anything but you should always do your best." Fu gves a little smile and steps a little closer to Minoke. She is clearly used to being around people who are wheelchair bound. "There are four core members here. We are just opening it up though to others so they can join too. Those members are, Myself, Yuna Yuki, Mimori Togo, and Itsuki Inubouzaki. Itsuki is my sister. We came up with the five tenets. What we do is pretty much go around and help people out where we can. We go all over the place. The elementary school, A few nursing homes, The animal shelter. We like to be every day heros! That is what the hero club is all about." She doesn't mention the whole fighting monsters that wanna end the world. That doesn't work out well!

Minoke Sato hmmmmms. "Maybe I can join you guys. Flower-arranging club is not that... fulfilling anymore." She looks down to the silk flowers on her lap. "Maybe cheer up people in the hospital too? Oh, I have met Mimori-chan She is nice." Maybe being a hero now, she could join this.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki smiles happily, "We'd be happy to have you. We do all sorts of things. We even occasionally put on puppet shows for the kids in Elementary school. I usually play the VILLAIN! MUAHAHAHAA!" She lets herself go into theatrical villain mode. Its very silly but impressive. She giggles a little and smiles. "Listen I am thinking about heading out to get some sweets for tomorrow. Would you like to come?"

Minoke Sato nods. "Sure. Come with me first... I am going to drop these off in the teacher lounge." She heads in that direction. "What do you think of all the weird stuff going on lately?" she asks as thry move.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki just blinks, "Weird stuff? Like the freak storm that tore up a big chunk of the city?" Yeah lets go with that. She isn't about to show her hand yet. There is a reason why the Shinju-sama stops time when a vertex is coming. The heros of the Shinju-sama are best unknown. Though a number of people already know so... Why is this so difficult. "Its really crazy." The blonde girl walks along with a smile.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "Yeah." She rolls into the lounge and drops off the flowers. "Alright, let us go. Where are you planning to go?" She starts rolling to the front door of the school.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki smiles, "Oh there is a place not too far from here. Its one of the oldest confectionary places in Japan!" It also helps that her favorite Udon place is not terribly far from there... "So you wanna be in the hero club! I think you will have a lot of fun! We always do. Just remember to salute when Togo sings her song! She is really patriotic!" She giggles and leads the way towards the confectionary shop.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato follows happily. "You'll forgive me if I do not get up," she murmurs with a smile. "Tell memore about it. I did not know there was one. It's new?" She goes quiet as she waits to her more.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki smiles, "It just started this year. I thought it would be good to you know? Be heros and help people." She blushes. Its a lie. She knows it. Still she doesn't wanna scare off a new girl from joining. Ugh that nasty balance. "We meet a lot. We really hang out and stuff whenever we can cause we are all friends. We often go out for Udon and stuff."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato hmmmmmmmmms. "I was never a big fan of udon. I dunno. Just the texture doesn't agree with me." She then glances. " Is this the place?" she asks curiously as she gestures to the candy store. "I don't think I've ever been in here. I have to watch what I eat for it's hard for me to drop weight if I put it on."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki nods, "It is and Whaaaaaaaaat." She jaw drops and just seems to go catatonic over that one. Someone who does NOT like udon?! Its the best thing in the world! How can she not like Udon! Of course Fu's life revolves around the stuff so, go figure. "Oh yes. Umm... Sure lets go in and get us some sweets!"

Minoke Sato shrugs. "Just not my thing." She hmmmmmmms "Hey, snap out of it," she cooos, snapping her fingers when you seem to freak out. She rolls into the place and looks around curiously.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
There is a soft rumbling inside the place. It looks really pretty and is definitely a bit dated. They have all sorts of sweets on display too ranging from hard candy to gummies to everything in between. They even have Green Tea and Mochi ice creams! There is endless Wagashi and even some not so local foods. Fu turns into a kid in a candy store... literally. She quickly goes through and starts picking out all sorts of things. She even gets to try some of the more unique stuff... Fudge from the US is really interesting to her. "Umm right! I need umm a dozen wagashis for the Hero Club!"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato just ponders. "Maybe this was a bad idea... I have to stay healthy because it's hard to exercise..." she murmurs. "I'll ask Haru-kun to get something appropriate. But I'll take one square of fudge, please."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki laughs, "I'm training for a contest." She could almost hear the voices of her friends saying 'not like thats changed anything!'. She simply smiles and keeps going. "Oh how about A bunch of Chinsukos! that would go well too!" She smiles brightly. "Would you like some ice cream?"

Just outside the building a couple of young ladies walk by. Something falls off of one of them... A necklace. It has a simple black pendant on it in the shape of a star. It happens to land on a newspaper.

Suddenly dark magic errupts sending a wave of nastiness through the building. The ground shakes, as just outside, a giant, creature that looks to be made up of bad newspaper reviews begins storming towards the Confectionary shop.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato whirls suddenly as Vortex around her neck and starts flashing and beeping. "Oh dear..." she murmurs. She rolls towards the back of the store and pops into the ladies' room. She doesn't know what it is as she takes her choker off. "What is it?" she asks. "An undetermined source of dark magic is outside this structure." She hmmmms. "Alright. Vortex, set up!" "Engaging."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
The darkness is easily felt without anything saying anything. Quickly she frowns, Her phone chirps. Its not the ring tone. Not the thing that is still plaguing her dreams. Fu quickly pulls out her phone. -Dark energy has been felt in your immediate area. Please investige and aid assistance if possible.- Moving outside she sees just what what is attacking. "Oh crap."

The blonde looks at her phone and brings up her special app. Quickly she hits the button.

An explosion of yellow flowers go flying around her. Yellow light begins moving at high speed upward behind her as her clothing changes. Her hands, feet, legs, chest. Everything. It all turns into a very lovely yellow and white dress with green trim. Very energetic music seems to come from nowhere as this goes on. Quickly the girl raises her hand as her twin tail hair becomes twin braids. A blue and white doglike fairy appears and a massive great sword drops into Fu's hand. She quickly gives it a swing and then the light show ends.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird emerges from the bathroom - she left the wheelchair there. She has a glowing vortex around her waist and is simply flying through the air, holding a strange-looking mace. She zooms out of the shop - it probably woudln't be too hard to figure out that the redhead girl who's flying there must've been in the candys tore when this started, and there were no other customers. She floats there, watching. "Vortex, Combat Mode. "Battle stations." The mace begins reconfiguring, the made-head spinning around and now connected to the hsaft with a black energy strand. "I'm Firebird," she state,s adjusting her mask. "Let's try to beat this thing fast."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
The Youma maid actually pays little attention to Yusha Fu and Firebird. Its simply got something more important on her mind. She begins screaming in a blend of broken German and Japanese. Moving behind the confectionary building, she begins stomping around. Its an intentional sort of thing. She's looking for something. There is some serious strength behind this youma. She continues moving, ignoring the would be heroes.

"Yusha Fu." The Yellow clad woman with the big honkin sword comments. She glances down at her thigh and That strange flower symbol still has one petal lit up. She needs to read up on that app. "What is this thing after... Shouldn't it, you kknow, be trying to kill us!" She asks as she springs upward and lands on the roof of the confectionary.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird floats upwards with you, hmmmmmming softly. "Well. Let's catch its attention." A black runic circle appears around her. "Satellite Storm!" she calls as several metal spheres pop into existence around her. She then focuses as she points. "Target acquired. Firing." The six metal balls fire at high speeds and smash into the youma's back.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Welp. That did it! The youma whips around and beings firing something at Firebird. Is it bullets? Rockets? Missiles? Grenades? Warheads? DISEMBODIED HEADS?! NO! Its Ice cream? The ice creams comes blasting in the form of balls at Firebird and then at Fu.

"Well you got it's attention!" Fu states as she whips her sword around and uses it like a shield to defend herself from the hail of ice cream scoops! As the storm relents she darts in. "That is not how you treat ice cream ya ninny!" She calls out at she Swings her blade at the creature violently. The youma's arm is quickly severed. Sadly its very temporary as the arm climbs back up her body and reconnects itself. "You've got to be kidding."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird squawks as she's being pelted iwth ice cream as she got nailed a few tmies. "Hey - that's gonna leave a stain!" She then hmmmmsm. "... how the HELL do you wield that thing?" she asks. "Hmmmm. Alright," she states, brushing ice cream off of her. "Jupiter Field!" she calls as a black circle forms around the youma, expanding - and suddenly it would experience three Gs of gravity. "Don't cross the circle!" she yells. "I'll try to hold it in place - do you have any long-range attacks?"

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
While the Maid Youma is still pretty peeved at being attacked by Firebird, She is far more annoyed at the fact that Fu just took off her arm. As soon as the arm reattaches itself, The creature begins dumping ice cream at her. Trying to bury her with the creamy frozen Treat. Then everything gets really heavy for the creature. Gravity is tripled. How is she STILL STANDING! She seems to actually have some sort of thought process as She starts stomping all the more. Suddenly a sinkhole opens and there, for the world to see is some kind of underground tunnel.

This was supposed to be a nice day. A day where she could prepare to make amends for hiding the secret of the Vertexes. A day when she could figure out a good way to keep things going well in the hero club. This was NOT a day where she wanted to be covered in dessert! She tries to get out of the way but, no hope of that. So she uses her weapon as a shield again. The blue and white fairy appears above her as well, helping to block the ice cream onslaught.

Finally when Firebird's gravity field takes hold, She is free to get out of the ice cream. "What a waste!" She stats. "People who waste food like this deserve a heeping helping of GIRL POWER!" Her sword actually gets BIGGER. Growing longer and much more nasty. She doesn't go into the thing but she does make a huge swing taking the creatures legs out and sending her to the ground, right as the sink hole opens. "Errr... I didn't know about that."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird blinks. "Oh dear," she states. "Ummmmmm...." She ponders. "This isn't working." She ponders. "Let's change things up a notch. "Negative Field!" she calls out as the black circle changes configuration. And suddenly, instead of being weighed down, it starts floating upwards until it's hovering five feet off the ground. "That sinkhole's gonna be a problem..." she mutters as she floats there. "Sorry about that - still getting theh ang of this - it's trapped for now but I can't do anything else."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
The maid monster just sorta hovers there for a bit. It can't really do anything save for attempt to throw ice cream. The problem of course is that the ice cream is just flying upwards and missing people entirely.

Fu's sword returns to normal. She leans it over her shoulder and she thinks, "Okay this thing can pull itself together but like this it can't I got it! Tighten your circle I'm going at it!" She states as she focuses her attack. She springs high up. The blue and white fairy appears again and her sword begins to glow. She unleashes a cork screw attack which causes the thing to literally explode into a pile of news papers. What is left behind is a single necklace with black pendant.

"Well. First time I've had dessert go out for me!" She states with a smirk. Oh yes. A pun was definitely needed at this point.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird nods as she states, "Sealing Mode." The mace reconfigures again, as it changes, the mace-head splits in half, unti it looks, oddly, like a dark metal Pac-Man on an energy strand. She points at it. "Alright - whatver that is, seal it. "Sealing." The mace-head zooms forward, engulfing the pendant, then closes down, engulfing it. "Unknown item sealed." The mace-head returns to her as it reconfigures back into Device Mode. "Do you know what that youma was? I haven't seen the like." She shrugs. "It's safely sealed away inside Vortex where it'll do no good..." She looks at the sinkhole, frowning. "Is this newspaper?" she asks as she picks up a piece of it after inverting herself upside down. "Weird." She ponders.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
The yellow clad woman looks down at her leg and checks that mark again. Another petal is lit. "I need to find out what this means. I can't put it off again." She makes a curious face as she touches the weird guage and nothing happens. She shakes it off.

"What Oh! Right! Awesome! That way we won't have to worry about another one of those things. That would be really bad." Fu is still in Yusha form. Quickly she leaps down into the skink hole and looks around. "What in the world... It was looking for something and this is down here! I wonder whats down here thats so important!"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird blinks. "What's that on your leg? Mind if I look at it?" she asks. "I could have Vortex scan it maybe?" she asks, glancing. "Looks like a flower with two petals lit." She hmmmms as she floats down. If one looks carefully, it looks like Firebird's legs are rather thin as if she doesn't use them very much as she descends into the sinkhole. "Any idea what could be down here, Yusha Fu?" she asks. "I could try scanning but if there's magical things down here it could set them off..."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu shrugs, "Go ahead and scan if you like. I don't mind." She states in reference to the weird flower. Then as she is down in the hole, she looks up and nods, "Come on down and scan it. Honestly I think maybe this should be looked into but, its probably just a sewer or something." She states. If scanned there will be a trace amount of magic coming from the tunnel but it's really not enough to merit going after.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird hmmmmmms as she murmurs, "Vortex, scan the area." "Sensors online. Scanning." She waits as a black circle is under her as she floats there. "Minor magical residue located. Signature unknown, power level fading into background ambient radiation." "And her leg?" she asks as she points the mace at Fu's leg. "Unknown. Appears to be a gauge of some kind." "Thanks," she mutters. "Well, want a hand back up to the surface?" she asks as she extends her hand to you.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Yusha Fu nods, "Yes. I need to check in with the Taisha. I'm sure they would be interested in the fact that a weird monster just tried to punch a hole in the earth to get down some tunnel." With that she jumps up out of the sink hole. Not exactly a difficult feat for her in her Yusha form. "Oh, umm... I'm a lot stronger then I look when I'm in this form." She swings the mammoth sword up over her head and slices downward. "Okay time to text the Taisha." She slips off back into the building and, to the ladies room.

She was just slipping back there to send the text and to let her henshin break. But then, Oh look! A very familiar wheel chair. Fu just giggles as a flash of yellow light goes off and she is left in her school uniform again. Quickly she pulls out her phone and sends a text. - A strange creature was searching for something not far from Seiyou Public School. Attempts to stop it resulted in a sink hole opening. Creature was destroyed. There is a tunnel in that sink hole. Ambient magic was detected. How should we proceed?-

A moment later her phone chirps again. -Do not. We will assess the danger. If there is real danger there we will notify the heroes of the Shinju-sama.-

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird floats back into the shop, and then heads right into the bathroom and STARES. "Ummmmm...." she murmurs, tilting her head. "Well. This is awkward," she states as she floats there. "Well. I guess that we can both pretty much figure out what's going on here..." she mutters as she flops down in her wheelchair, rubbing her forehead.

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu smirks and shrugs. "Its cool. Don't worry about it. Your secret is safe. Just be thankful you didn't find out mine the way some of the other new hero club members did. We had a Vertex attack. Vertexes are really really nasty. They want to destroy the world and kill everyone. A bunch of people got pulled into the fight. It my first time and I had to lead the charge. It was rough but we got it."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Firebird nods. "Vortex, stand by." The mace shimmers along with Minoke herself as the mace reverts to a black leather choker with an onyx gem around it and Minoke's clothing shifts to the school uniform. She refastens her choker. "Well.... nice to meet yu, Fu-sempai."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki smiles, "The pleasure is all mine Minoke-chan. I look forward to seeing you in Hero club. Lets hope we can get through the rest of the week without any chaos. I sent a message to the Taisha. They are going to further investigate the tunnel we found. They'll keep us in the know."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "There _was_ something magical in there, but from what I got from Vortex, it wasn't there anymore. Magical artifacts leave a residue behind... but that's abuot it."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki smiles a little, "Not our problem. If the Taisha wanna investigate they can have at it." She shrugs. She would know of course. "Anyway, I guess we should get home and rest. I should probably get some dinner soon."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato blinks. "Who's the Taisha?" she asks blankly. "Oh - I'm going to keep the necklace sealed till tomorrow and then study it in a safe location." She ponders. " By tehw ay, what kind of magical girl are you?"

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki smiles softly, "The Taisha are like priests. The serve the Shinju-Sama. The Shinju-sama is a god tree. The. god-tree. He protects the Earth and the people on it. The Taisha speak for him. I am technically one of their agents. I was given a mission by them to start the Hero Club. So I did!" She wink and does a little peace sign over her right eye. She giggles. "OH umm. I'm a Yusha. The Yusha are heroes of the Shinju-sama. Our abilities come from him. The Taisha managed figure out a way to allow us to change and such through the use of our phones. See?" She presses a button on her phone and a very familiar looking flower appears on the screen.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "Oh cool," she states softly. "I'm a mage who uses an Intelligent Device. Swirling Vortex is her name." She taps the choker. "She excels at gravity magicks which allows me to fly around and you saw how I altered gravity from triple to negative." She sighs. "I can even create a black hole. And close it again." She ponders. "Where is this God Tree?" she asks softly. "Never heard of it."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu blinks, "Oh that is awesome! Yes the gravity thing was just amazing!" She giggles happily. Then that smile turns to a little frown, "I don't know where the Shinju-sama is. I know when we pray to it we face East. I would expect that to be where it is."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato blinks. "At least we can rule out Mecca," she murmurs with a faint smile. "Well. "So maybe it's in Hawaii..." She ponders. "Seems like a good place to hide some cool tree."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki smiles, "I don't know where he is but I believe he is there. Then again it's kinda hard not to when your power stems from him huh?" She giggles a little. "Oh by the way, meet Inugami." With a pomf! A blue and white dog like fairy appears beside Fu. "Inugami is really nice. He is my fairy. He's a guardian of the Jukai and helps me out too. I think he's the reason why I can wield my sword."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato smiles. "Yeah, I was wondering about that. Vortex isn't very talkative unless she's acknowledging my orders so... I guess most magical girls have some kind of 'mascot' or something, huh?"

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki shrugs, "I dunno honestly. I've not met the various types of magical girls. I mean I met Miss White, who was a little saddened to not get a piece of a vertex. There was a Guardian in there, some unknown fist fighter, And well... I think that sums them up. I am not certain the other Yusha have even powered up yet."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato hmmmmms. "I know Miss White. She uses a Device like me..." She clicks her tongue. "Just be careful of Puellas. From what I understand, they are all doomed to become the very monstesr they fight..." She shrugs. "One of my friends became that way and I'm trying to help her."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki winces, "Thats rough." She thinks a few moments. "I think finding a way to help them would be a really good thing. I hope we can find a way to help them." SHe frowns and leans and gathers her sweets for tomorrow. "Oh we have a big contest coming up. I made a bet with Usagi from Seishou middle school. Turns out we both have really big appetites! The loser gets their hair styled by the winner!"

Minoke Sato shrugs. "I think you got suckered. That girl's appetite is legendary. I hope you'll look good in odangos," she states. "I'm a friend of one of her friends and from what I've heard - Usagi's a walking talking black hole." She ponders. "You've been had, Fu-san."

Fu Inubouzaki has posed:
Fu Inubouzaki smirks, "She can't hold a candle! I have just as large an appetite as she does. We met at Midori-ya and we had the same thing. ALL the same thing! The Taisha thought I had ordered for a small army!" She giggles a little and stretches.

Minoke Sato shrugs. "Well. If you lose I want a pic of you in odangos. And I wouldn't bet on Usagi losing."
