With some spare time on her hands, Utau had decided to check out a new exhibit at the Verone aquarium. Being surrounded by looming tanks full of fish in every color and size was somehow soothing to her troubled heart. And lately, she'd been quite troubled.
Eru and Iru are with her of course, fluttering around and checking out the various beautiful exhibits in their usual manner; Iru dashing about causing trouble while Eru is a little angel, naturally..

Fish. SO MANY FISH! Fish, fish, everywhere... but not a one to eat.
Of course Yoru would be here. He's hungry! And it's hard to find food when you're on your own and are about the size of a small plushie. He's been out and about most every day, looking for Ikuto, of course. He's got a place to sleep-- he's at Mikoto's. But he doesn't go back there 'till late at night, so he needs to find food during the day.
He's here, mostly because this is a wishlist of fish. A fishlist, if you will. Taking a short break from the search, to make himself feel better. He's just sort of floating around, pressing his face to the glass aquariums intermittently, watching particularly yummy-looking fish swim by...

As luck would have it, Iru is not fluttering around far from Yoru, and as she had assisted him in creating a disturbance during the secret concert, she is somewhat familiar with the cattish guardian chara. She's just wandering around, causing her usual brand of mischief when she spies a familiar cat-chara!
"Heeey! it's you again! What're you doing here? Where's your owner?" she peers around curiously, but realizes that she never saw his owner the first time.
At the moment, Utau doesn't seem aware of what's going on with Iru and is currently watching a school of colorful angelfish on the otherside, Eru sitting on her shoulder, little hands pressed against the glass as she too, gazes at the pretty fish.

Yoru is making puppy eyes at the fish inside the tank-- ironically enough-- when Iru speaks up. "Wha?" He turns around. "Hey! You're that Chara from before-nya!" he realizes, pointing a finger of one hand-paw in her direction. "Thanks for the help back then! I didn't get a chance to say it at the concert-nya."
As for where his owner is? "Well, um..." He raises a hand-paw to rub at the back of his head. "That's... kinna what I'm trying to find out-nya." Pause. How did he explain it? "...THINGS are going on with him."

"Hah, it was nuttin!" she grins, folding her arms behind her head in a relaxed posture as she float, an impish glint in her devilish eyes. "But what were you doin' back there, anyway? Just having fun?"
She arches a brow as he gives a rather cryptic response about his owner, staring blankly at him for a few moments. "Huh? Whaddaya mean? Is he in some kinda trouble?"
Utau and Eru continue to admire the fish, although after a while, Eru realizes first that Iru is missing and they both start peering around for the devilish chara, eventually spotting her talking to some strange cat-chara, who looks somehow familiar..
The pair begin to make their way towards him. "Hmmm? Who're you..?"

"I was tryin' t'cause a ruckus so Miko-chan could get backstage!" Yoru replies. "I thought the amplifier goin' over would be a big enough BOOM!--" And here he spreads his hand-paws and splays his legs to emphasize the 'BOOM!' "--To get 'em to notice. Didn't expect the amplifier to be so heavy though-nya!"
And then Utau and Eru come over! "Hey!" he greets them. "I'm Yoru! I'm-- OH THAT'S RIGHT! You don't know, do you-nya?" That's right. His egg had been born before Ikuto left... but he hadn't hatched until Ikuto and Tsukasa were in Europe. Utau had never met him before.

"Oooh? You're Mikoto-chan's Guardian Chara?" Iru asks as she starts circling around him, trying to see the connection, but he doesn't look anything like Mikoto to be honest. Besides, he's a guy! "But that doesn't make sense!"
Utau peers long and hard at Yoru, "Yeah, you look familiar but not like Mikoto at all.." She narrows her eyes. "In fact....You look like...Ikuto?!" no, that cant be. He doesn't even have a guardian chara, as far as she knows!

Yoru starts to laugh when Iru asks about being Mikoto's Guardian Chara. It's a full leaning back in the air belly laugh, too. One of those that would have lines of force, alternating long and short and then flipping! Well, if this were an anime, it would have, anyway. Thankfully no on can see him. Once he can talk again, he says, "Ha! No way. She's a GIRL!" He's got that 'girls are icky' thing going still.
Utau peers at him, and Yoru turns in the air, as if to give her a better look. It all checks out-- scruffy blue hair, black clothes, he even has a cross on his chest... and Ikuto is known to favor silver crosses in his wardrobe. And when Utau says the name, Yoru nods. "Ding-ding-ding! Got it in one!" he exclaims. "We didn't have a chance to meet before Ikuto went to look for your dad-nya."

Come to think of it, his attire IS rather reminiscent of Ikuto's choice of wardrobe. And the blue hair too. But cat ears? "All this time he had a guardian char and kept it hidden? But why? And why aren't you with Ikuto?"
She frowns, quickly putting two and two together. He was helping Mikoto sneak in to see Ikuto. He was probably trying to free his owner too!
"So..His secret dream is to be a cat huh.." she smirks, finding that somehow amusing, and strange. But come to think of it, he does have a lot of cat like qualities. "But how did you get separated from Ikuto in the first place? Cant you help him?"

Yoru looks a little sad at Utau's question. "...He hid a lot," the feline Chara admits. "Because he didn't want other people involved in his messes-nya. But he made a really big one now! That's why I'm not with him now. I can't find him, for one. I know Easter's got him-nya. But not where, or why. Well, besides the obvious-nya."
As for how he got separated? "Amu decided she was going to take me away from Ikuto temporarily, so he'd stop taking heart's eggs-nya," he explains. "Ikuto said somethin' about it before it happened. He was gonna make Kazuomi think I disappeared. He was hopin' they'd fire him! But that's not what happened-nya..."

Utau frowns and nods, "I see...Except it didn't work too well, did it. And now, Ikuto's in trouble. I thought I could get through to him, but it only worked temporarily. They've brainwashed him or something. But if he could see you, I wonder if it would help him fight whatever is controlling it?"
Dammit! But he was there when Mikoto sneaked in. It's too bad he didnt follow her in, but it was a tricky situation, "Then you should stay with Mikoto for now, until we can come up with a better plan. I talked to Kukai of the Guardians. Perhaps they can help but I'm not counting on it.."

"Controlling?!" Looks like Yoru didn't know about that part. His expression goes from shock, right to anger. He begins to flail in the air. "Lemme at 'em, LEMME AT 'EM! I'll claw their eyes out, I'll bite 'em right 'na butt-nya!" He's not talking about Ikuto, no, but he's not really thinking about making himself completely clear. He's just mad and acting it out. Scratch scratch swipe!
Though he quiets when Utau mentions the Guardians. "...They don't have any reason to," Yoru observes. "Well... Tadase might, if he still cares about Ikuto, even after everything-nya..." That was doubtful, Ikuto had spent a lot of energy trying to make Tadase hate him. But aside from that, none of the Guardians had any real involvement with Ikuto. And with the more important things going on around them, there's not a whole lot of time to devote to one person...

Utau sighs, "Yoru..Get ahold of yourself. If you rush in there without a plan, it'll only lead to failure." but she can understand his anger. "I'm sure we'll think of something, I just dont know what, yet..."
He doesnt seem to have much hope of the guardians helping them, and Utau doesn't blame him. Afterall, she has only caused trouble for both the Guardians and the Prism Keepers lately. Even so.
"I believe in Kukai-kun..I'm sure he'll help. I'm sure he will do what he can. And Rena-chan too." she's not too sure about Chloe however.
"I thought we could just buy time until we found the embryo, but it's taking too long. What I do know is that he reacted to my singing and Mikoto's kiss..So it's not impossible. Maybe we just need to find whatever device is being used to control him."
" Mikoto-chan said some sort of high frequency sound waves were interfering with his mind but she didnt know where they were coming from..In the meantime, you should go and see Ikuto, it might be good for him. You could come with us.."
