1536/BOOM!

BOOM!

Location:	Mitakihara/Pikarigaoka - King Penguin Park
Synopsis:	A little tinkering in the park leads to a fun meeting between Haruna, Nagi, Hoshi, and Naomi.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Its been a really quiet day. Craziness. No terribads. Just a good, peaceful day! This has is a good thing for Naomi. She's been struggling with school work of late because she's been focused on her other life. Thankfully she is still passing her classes and such. Now though school is out. Her homeworks done and the wheels are definitely turning in this young girls mind.

Quietly she walks into the park and finds herself a quiet place to work. a picnic table would suffice. She happens to have a toolbelt with her. From her back pack she pulls out an old boombox! Where did she find a boombox? That is a very good question. She quickly starts taking it apart. What makes this different from modern radios?

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Pant Pant Pant Pant.

Corvus is flapping his wings in front of Haruna. Corvus is also wearing a blue pair of sweats and carrying a stopwatch in his beak. Sometimes he peeks at it with a wing when he can spare.

Pant Pant Pant Pant! Following Corvus is Haruna in a white tank top and jogging sweats as she's running! A new semester! A new club routine! Hannah says she needs to get in shape to help the club shine this year and she needs to be extra hard on her because she's her girlfriend and it'll be seen as favoritism if she isn't extra hard on her training! Oooooooow.

Owwwwwwwww.

She still runs though! Before she stops dead near the picnic table Naomi's taken up. She calls out. "A--ahhh! Corvus please I need a break. And a Drink. I've been running nonstop for like thirty minutes!"

Corvus circles around and lands on her shoulder. He pulls up the stop watch. He peeks at it. "28 minutes."

"Close enough!" she whines.

She walks over to the bench. "H-hey? Mind if I sit do---oh! It's you! From um. The other day..." she mutters. This is the girl who was there with the Terribad. Right?

"Hi!" she says as she just them frumps down next to her. She fishes into her pocket for her waterbottle and begins chugging oh god.

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
Nagihiko is usually the cheerful type. Or the shy type. (After all, his sister is the more outgoing persona.) Now, while he tries to hide it, especially from the two charas floating near him (and sharing an ice scream), a dark cloud is figuratively over his head.

He's eating ice cream, as well. Just a scoop in a cone. Every once in a while the dark clouds seem to lighten. After all, who can stay cranky when they're eating ice cream?

(Well, he supposed if one is lactose intolerant. Or diabetic. Or vegan. But there are yummy alternatives!)

"Na-chan, can we--" Temari sighs. "This is heavy."

Nagihiko grumps. "You're the ones who wanted that big ol' tub."

Still, he starts to look for a place to sit down.

There's a picnic table and a running girl and--

Daichi gasps and whispers something to Temari.

"SHE DID WHAT?!"

Nagihiko's eyes glint and suddenly there's a naginata and a leaping boy at Haruna.

Daichi whispers again, more frantically, and Nagihiko practically pauses midair before he lands a couple feel from Haruna.

His cheeks are beat red. Unlike Haruna's case, they're red from embarrassment, not exertion. "So, ah. Lovely weather today. Oh hey, a Boom Box! You don't see those much anymore!"

He attempts for a casual lean against the weapon, but it's really hard to pull off 'Big Pointy Stick Is Harmless' in these situations. So away it goes!

If it weren't for his clearly flustered state and the fact that he'd just lunged for someone in the middle of the day, he's a very pretty boy. Almost as pretty as his sister, even.

"I'll just, um. Well." He takes a couple steps back and turns to glare at Temari.

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
An expensive looking luxury car parks next to the park, and a college student and Hoshi come out. The student says simply, "I'll be here when you need me, Ojou-chan." Hoshi smiles and waves, "I'm sure I won't, Ran!" Then she runs off into the park, stopping when she sees Haruno. "Kurosawa-san~ Who's your friend?"

A yellow star pops up in the sky wearing a yellow cap that says 'Coach' and holding a whistle. It floats next to Corvus and looks quite sternly at Haruna. Then there's a naginata wielding boy leaping at Haruna, and Hoshi moves in between, spreading her arms in clear 'til here and no further' gesture. "Can't we talk this out?"

Naomi Yomada has posed:
The Boombox is already apart and starting to go into pieces. "Wow would you look at the size of these speakers. I wonder if they are still good?" The girl in the Infinity Elementry uniform comments as she continues removing parts.

Then, Oh look It's a Gull! She looks up from behind her glasses. Those glasses are at least the safety variety because she has a reputation and carrying goggles everwhere would suck. She nods, "Yep, Hello Haruna-san. I was just curious about this old radio. Its kinda cool! I wonder what went in here?" She points to the small cassette compartment.

A pink fairy arrives, panting and looking annoyed, "Why did you run from me! I was just trying to say that this is a bad idea! Why do you need to tear apart that old relic!?" She comments to Naomi. Then looking up, "Oh Hey Corvus."

Naomi just giggles a little. "Because I've not seen a radio like it and I need to know how it works, Duh!" She takes a little pose and puts a hand over her heart, "It exists so I must learn how it works!" She fakes a little accent making her sound like some brilliant scientist. And then, oh another voice and this one has a name for the radio! She perks up, "Is that what it's called? weird name for it. Boom box? Okay that might be fun." She is so focused on tearing things apart that she doesn't notice that the guy had a naginata.

Lilac stage whispers to Corvus at this point, "It'll definitely be a boom something when she's done with it. I'd take cover!"

Naomi looks at the pink fairy and sticks her tongue out. "I don't blow up everything. I'm just curious is all!" She then hears another new arrival she gives a smile to Hoshi and a little waves. "Hi, I'm Naomi Yomada."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa looks to Lilac with a head tilt, regarding the fairy with a moment before Corvus blinks and shrugs. He looks all handsome in his jogging suit. Also, there's now a coach star here, what? Corvus gives a weird awkward wave to it.

MEANWHILE, there's a LOUD YELL from Nagi and this causes her attention to slide over there. and---

Oh god there's a boy with a large pointed stick lunging at her- she hops to her feet and immediatly goes into an elbowing stance- perfect kickboxer poise- and it looks like she's about to elbow Nagi in his pretty face!-----

Then she stops dead because A: Nagi seems to suddenly and stop and B: There's Hoshi there and she stops her too.

"Oh--uh. Hey Hoshi-chan." a pause.

"I dunno who this other guy is, he just started lunging at me?" she says. She looks up and--- there's Temari- who she doesn't know. Then there's Dachi. Who she /does/ know and he gets some narrowed eyes. She seems to be looking around for Kukai. She doesn't see him.

She looks back at Naomi. "What are you trying to do to that piece of junk anyways?" she asks a moment.

She looks back to Nagi and gives an awkward wave. "Hi. I don't think we've met before. I'm Haruna Kurosawa!" she insists. "This is Hoshi. That's Naomi. How are you all?" she asks.

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
After he stops, another girl comes between him and Haruna. He's pretty sure she somehow just saved his face.

He clears his throat, suddenly feeling very awkward, understandably, and even more so when Haruna introduces herself and the others.

A polite incline of the head and a soft voice that is a complete one-eighty from the yelling attacker just moments ago.

"Pleasure to meet you all, I'm Nagihiko Fujisaki. I'm sorry. I'm not sure why--"

Temari floats over, leaving poor Daichi to hold the icecream cup by himself. Her eyes are trying to bore a hole into Haruna's face as she whispers at Nagihiko. For a split second, he shares those boring eyes, but then he shakes himself. After all, Kukai isn't holding a grudge.

"Well, then. That explains it. Please forgive her, she's a bit...protective of Kukai."

Okay, so is he, but right now he's ignoring his feels for the stupid boy.

"I'll claw yer eyes out!" Daichi has to drop the tub of ice cream to hold her back!

"Temari! Enough!" If possible, his cheeks are even more red. "So, yes, that's a Boom Box. They usually run on C or D batteries, depending on the model. Plus, you know, predates digital. Some people prefer the slight difference in sound."

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
A beefy looking star with a shield and sword pops into the air in front of Temari, sword relaxed but shield raised. Hoshi takes a deep breath, and then says calmly. "I am Hoshi Kogane, and I don't care what's been going on, but if it involves Souma-san and Kurosawa-san, I'm sure there's no need to fight."

Then, with a slight degree of force she adds, "We will talk this out, and I will not stand by and let you fight." She then glances towards Haruna, with eyes that make it clear 'this goes for you, too.'

"Are you related to Nadeshiko Fujisaki?" She asks to diffuse the topic, "You remind me of her, and you do have the same surname. I've been to one of her performances, she's quite good." Notice how she doesn't say that she enjoyed it.

The girl's understanding of technology is so severely lacking, and Naomi is so focused on it, that she feels like it's best just not to interrupt. She knows what it's like to be interrupted during your hobbies.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
"Oooo! I think I have some batteries like that in my bag! I will have to fish them out then." She giggles and keeps working. Quickly she finds the circuit board. Her eyes go large and she starts laughing. "Oh my god look at the size of this thing! Thank goodness tech has gotten smaller. This is just crazy!" Its true, the circuit board is huge. Hard to miss the different parts on it. "Look at the size of the traces on this! Its amazing how far this stuff has come!"

Naomi giggles a little bit and starts studying things, looking for anything that might be wrong with the device. As Haruna asks her the question, She smiles and glances up, "I'm trying to learn how it works and how I can incorperate its design into other things. Also I am going to try to fix it up a little. Maybe I can get it working!" She starts going over the resistors and such. trying to find anything broken or needing in the repairs department. "Ah ha! Eureka!"

Quickly she pulls out a cold heat soldering iron and starts heating the lead traces around a small resistor thats clearly burnt up. She pulls out another that looks similar, "This should be close enough. Though if I decrease the size of the resistor I might be able to increase the range of the radio. Who knows maybe I could pick up radio stations from Okinawa with this!" She gets out a smaller resistor and quickly solders it into place.

The pink fairy quickly floats over and helps the little star by getting between the chara and Haruna, "We aren't enemies here. Just calm down. Okay? No one is causing trouble, Except for Naomi." She smiles a little and is definitely keeping her distance from the young techie.

Naomi gives the stereotypical annoyed duckface to the fairy before turning her attention to Hoshi and Nagihiko, "Oh that is really cool! I never really thought much about dancing but I think maybe it could be fun. I've always been really curious about tech and stuff. I love taking things apart and seeing how they work!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa taps her chin. "When I lived with my sister when I was sixth grade, we had a big ol' radio like that because it was cheap from the secondhand store. Also a big ol' black and white TV." she says. "Well the black and white because it's all they had at the time. We got a color one, eventually." she says.

She looks back to Nagi and purses her lips when Kukai comes back up as a subject. Then a name is said-- and she taps her chin and she mouths, just silently. "'I'd be upset, too... if someone said I couldn't kiss na-chan...'" she mutters. "...Oh!" she says. "You must be...."

"Kukai's guyfriend?" she asks coyly. She crosses her arms. "Look, I'm not wanting to start anything. But if this is about Kukai being a dope and attacking WPS, yeah he's over it. Me and Hannah even visited him in the hospital!" she beams.

She looks back at Hoshi and purses her lips. "Right no problems here. No worries." she says.

She sits back down and gulps more water. "Oh, right. the Seagull's Corvus."
"Yo." says Corvus with a wingwave.

"So, Nagihiko. You with the Guardians? Tell Tadase I still think he's a butt when you see him next, okay?" she asks.

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
He holds up his hands in defence at Hoshi. "Hey, we're not fighting! See? Getting along! Heh!"

At the mention of Nadeshiko and being good, he gives a shy grin and rubs the back of his neck. "Ah, yeah, she's my twin." He does notice the lack of personal feeling on the matter, but really pays it no mind. After all, the dance isn't for everyone!

He shrugs at Naomi. "Well, it's a...family tradition. All of us can do it."

Fortunately for his sanity, he's not much of a lip reader. However, Haruna's coy remark freezes him on the spot.

Well, crud. Are they broken up? Can you be broken up if you were never really official? The dark cloud swirls once again. "We are currently undefined."

Sulk, sulk, brood. A few choice grumbling expletives.

Then he quickly shakes his head and forces his dial back to Happy. "He told me! I was very happy to hear it, thank you. And I yelled at him for it. If nothing else, he should have brought backup. And yes, I'm with them. Don't worry, Tadase has his butt moments, but he's a good guy."

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
"Good." Hoshi responds to Nagi clearly not fighting. The girl steps out of being in between the two of them, but the little protective knight star remains in front of Temari, sternly looking at the chara with a look of 'don't even think about trying to get past me.'

"The Guardians are with Virtue, right?" Hoshi asks softly, remembering her conversations with the others, and she looks at the yellow virtue phone she's got clipped onto her bag, "If Tadase-san is with Virtue he can't be that bad." Nope, she's never really interacted with Tadase.

Hoshi recognizes the passion that comes from Naomi quite well, "My hobby is astronomy, Yomada-san. It's not the same of course, but I can spend hours talking about stars, planets and the like if people don't stop me."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi gives a smirk and nods, "I get curious about a lot of things. This is just the thing thats stuck the longest!" She giggles and then its back to the boom box. She doesn't know the first thing about the Guardians or Virtue or the events which transpired before last week. Up until then she was just a mundane girl.

Within moments she has the boombox back together looking just like it ought to. Quietly she gets out her bag and starts fishing through it. "Ooh here we go!" She quickly pulls out four D batteries and gets them in place.

Lilac's eyes go wide, "This is it!!! Everybody take cover!!!" She then takes off trying to pull Corvus and the two chara's with her to safety. "Over here! Lets take cover!!! She's insane I tell you!"

Naomi sighs and shakes her head. A flip of the power switch and the radio hisses to life. She quickly begins tuning it and hey, theres one of the local stations. Everything seems to be working well enough. "I told you I don't blow everything up!"

Naomi turns her head to Nagi and smiles a little, "Whats it like to dance in front of people? I sorta stay out of the spot light when I'm not doing umm, Other things."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa scowls. "Let me tell you this. Tadase made me choose between Virtue and Hannah because he's a big dope. I owe everyone a lot, but that's stupid. I'm not choosing between an organization and the one I love. Also, Blue-sama can his stupid 'Precures can't fall in love' rule and stuff it." she says and crosses her arms and now stink lines can almost be seen eminating from her. She huffs.

She peeks back at Nagi. "Well." she says softly. "I'm sure you'll figure out." she winks.

She head tilts back at Naomi. Corvus sort of flails as he's pulled along. She doesn't expect that to blow up. It's just a radio- not a CRT or anything. She paid enough attention in science class to know better. She looks back at Hoshi and frowns. "Well Virtus can call me whenever they've realized what a butt they've been." she says with a hrmph. "Until then, I'll happily work for WPS without anymore misgivings." she insists.

She seems to have cooled down from her run finally. "Ugh." she says. "I've been running all day so far. I need to get all set for exhibition matches for Kickboxing Club soon." she mutters.

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
Temari growls at the star, and once again Daichi holds her back.

"Ya think ya scare me, you glorified lucky charm?! I'll turn ya into a triangle!"

Nagihiko taps his chin in thought. "Dancing in front of people is...terrifying and exhilarating both. It's that moment just before you admit you like someone and that first kiss all rolled into one. Only, you know, not quite as good."

He tilts his head at Haruna. He's only heard things second hand and doesn't have the full story. "I would think it's not the one you love, but the organization she works for? She has friends in Virtue, and there doesn't seem to be issue there?" He shrugs helplessly. "I don't know, I've been...preoccupied for a long time and it's hard to get back in the swing of things."

Losing your chara temporarily can do that to a person.

However, his cheeks do turn pink again and he looks a bit flustered by that wink. "I'm not the one who needs to figure things out..."

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
The star does not look impressed. It just stares at Temari, the dour-faced guardian representing Hoshi's desire to see this not escalate into violence. Hoshi sighs a little, "Please forgive my starpals, I don't quite have them under control." She admits softly.

"I never could've fixed something like that, Yomada-san. It's very impressive." Hoshi does sound impressed, but also like she would've been equally impressed if Naomi had replaced a lightbulb. It's clearly not anything she knows about.

The girl stays quiet on the topic of WPS, Virtue and Hannah. She simply doesn't know enough to have anything to say about it, and it's clearly somewhat of a sore spot, so she wisely ignores it. "How you describe dancing sounds a lot like appealing to the public's generosity in a TV advertisement. ... don't know anything about kisses, though."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
"See?! I didn't blow it up!" Naomi comments to her fairy before putting her tools away. She giggles and looks at the boom box with pride. That is the point where she hears Haruna get huffy over Tadase and Blue. While she doesn't know Tadase, she DOES know Blue and that gets her a little nervous.

"Umm Haruna-san, I understand why you are upset about that rule. I don't really like it either. I don't think Blue-sama put that one in place to hurt us though. He seems to want to keep us safe. That brings the question though, what about love is so dangerous that he would say that we aren't allowed to fall into it?" She asks softly.

She turns her attention to Nagi again and gives a smile. "Maybe you could show me a little sometime? It might be fun to learn a little dance." ZZZZZZZZZTTTTT!!!! The radio lets loose a loud buzz.

Sparks fly and SNAP CACKLE POP!! BOOM!! Well not a big Boom. A little boom though. The radio immediately stops working and a gout of soot and dust come pouring out, coating Naomi and potentially anyone too close to her in black dust. She takes her glasses off, reaches into her bag and pulls out a small fire extinguisher. She's cool as a cucumber over the whole thing. She sprays the boom box down to make sure there is no burning or anything.

The pink Fairy peeks up and starts laughing, "Told you so!!! I think she gets some sick thrill out of blowing stuff up!"

Naomi sighs a little and wipes off her glasses before putting them back on her face. "Thanks, Lilac."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa shakes her head 'no'. "You're a dancer, so you should know it takes two ta' tango." she insists. "Both need to be on the same wavelength or you're stepping on feet!" she insists. "It's why I work really well with Hannah, ya know? Expectations set ahead of time on what needs to happen and when. Like if she does something stupid she knows I'm boppin her upside the head!" she insists.

She pops her fist to her palm and goes "Pow! Like that!" she beams.

"It's okay really. We like to fight! She likes a challenge." she insists.

She looks to Hoshi and hrmmmms. "You don't have control of those things? Huh. I guess it's kinda like Corvus, he just does whatever he wants."

Corvus flies back to Haruna's shoulder and dusts off his shoulder and gives Lilac a stink eye now. Tugging him away, HOW RUDE!

She turns to answer Naomi and opens her mouth and has a finger pointed upwards when--- snap and cackle and boom!

Corvus and Haruna get covered in soot and kind of have that look when something blows up in a cartoon character's face where you can see the whites of thier eyes very good. She coughs a bit.

"You know what. That's enough for today." is all she says as she begins walking home a mess. Corvus seems to agree.

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
He arcs a wry eyebrow at Hoshi before turning to look at Temari. "Do you think I do?"

Then he shrugs and gives a small smile. "Well, I only have the one to compare it to, so." And whatever happens, they were nice kisses.

He gives a yelp and jumps back a few feet. "Goodness! That was loud."

He grins at Haruna. "It may take two to tango, but sometimes solo is where it's at." He does a very simple two step dance, invisible fan in hand. "Of course, it's often used to lure a dance partner, so I guess its sort of the same."

Temari and Daichi have discovered their ice cream had landed unscathed and were enjoying themselves. Without his feisty little chara causing trouble, the cloud returned in force.

"Hey, I need to...go home, brood, watch too much television and eat too much ice cream."

He gives a small incline of his head before bending to pick up the ice cream cup. "It was a pleasure. I hope you fix the Boom Box."
