PreCure Meeting
Date of Scene:	21 June 2016
Location:	Uminari City - Verone Academy
Synopsis:	CureVictory invites Cures Gull and Spark to Verone academy for a more personal meeting face to face after the chaos at the sand castle competition.

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Haruna and Naomi had been invited to Mari's room at Verone Academy, but once they arrive, they found a locked door with a note attached to the handle. The note simply reads: 'Haruna-chan, if you're reading this, i'm on the court testing out some new settings to the training machine, meet you down there.'

    So a short detour to Verone Academy's tennis courts later, Haruna and Naomi would come upon a pretty interesting sight.. A reconfigured pitching machine calibrated to fire off tennis balls at random speeds in semi-random down range directions across a tennis net. Sure, it wasn't regulation, but it was setting up a weird number of possible scenarios that Mari would have to contend with if she was going to return each ball across the net.

    The sound of Mari's heels scraping on the court could be heard several feet out as she scrambled from one side to the other, smacking each ball back across the court as the machine fires off another for her to rush over and attempt to return... Several students are watching from the stands and many of them are cheering her on - after all it's the first time many of them have seen her on the court since she went and vanished several months ago with little warning. Suddenly the machine whirrs and fires off a particularly fast ball - straight at Mari, who just blinks and pulls up her racket to block the ball, before she gets knocked over from the impact and falls back onto the court.

"Tch... Still too slow, huh... I'm going to have to push myself harder if that sort of thing keeps surprising me..." She mumbles to Raquel, who is hanging on Mari's shoulder, pretending to be a little plush keychain attached to Mari's collar, the chain itself acting as a little belt to keep her from falling off.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna squeals. "Mari's doing tennis things! Come on Naomi!" she calls out as she grabs Naomi's hand and then dashes down the corridor of the dorms room to the tennis court quickly upon arriving at Mari's dorm room door.

She watches Mari do her tennis things.

She's so good isn't she?" Says Haruna.

Corvus is on her shoulder and nods matter of factly. "She's great!" insists Corvus.

She looks down to Naomi. "Oh! Right. Katsu-chan is victory." she smiles.

"Isn't she good. At tennis things?" she asks with wide eyes.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi was more then happy to go meet up with Victory. It was awesome to be a part of a team and to go hang out with said team? SWEET! One catch though, She had never been to Verone before. So She had to wait for Haruna to go with her. When they came up on the door and seen the message, Haruna took off, taking the poor younger girl by the hand, "EEP!" The trip to the Tennis Courts looked like something straight out of a manga. Haruna running along with Naomi being pulled flapping in the breeze like a flag.

A single muffled voice rang out as they ran, "I think I'm going to be sick..." The voice of Lilac rang out from Naomi's bag.

Finally they arrive. Naomi takes a seat and watches as Katsu does some training. When the ball knocks Katsu on her butt, She stands up. Quickly she opens. A rather green looking fairy goes flying out headed for some place that isn't bouncing around. Naomi pulls out her tool belt and off she goes to work on the machine. Within seconds the power is off and she has the case open to work on the inner parts.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari pauses, hearing Haruna in the background, frowning for a moment at the training machine before she sighs and slowly moves into a less guarded stance after the machine deactivates, one eyebrow raising silently as she spots Naomi working at it and gives a slight smile. A few moments pass, and Mari slowly glances to her arm for a moment then reaches up with her free hand to take hold of her upper arm and rub it slowly.

"...Are you okay, Mari?" Raquel whispers from her shoulder.

    Mari nods her head, glancing to the side before she smiles. "Yeah... I'm fine. Don't worry so much Raquel-chan. You'll make the others worry too." Mari replies before she pets Raquel gently with her hand. Then she smiles watching Naomi as she tinkers, before moving to a nearby bench to take a seat before she closes her eyes in thought, pausing for a few seconds as she quietly waves to Haruna and Naomi, motioning for Haruna to come over and for Naomi to join them once she was done tinkering with the machine.

"Sorry you guys had to see that..." She mumbles for a moment before she grins. "I don't.. normally make those kinds of mistakes." She adds before she quietly shakes her head.

"You've been making them more and more, lately..." Raquel mumbles before Mari just shakes her head.

"Enough, Raquel. I'm fine." Mari says before she quietly glances to Haruna and smiles. "Haruna-chan, how have you been?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa head tilts, actually, that was kinda worse than what she's used to seeing Katsu-chan do.

"Katsu-channnn." she says. "What's wrong. Something's wrong. What's wrong!?" she asks in rapid succession with wide eyes at Mari, a then a pause. She looks at Corvus then back to Katsu-chan and nrgs. "Right...."

"Um, first. This is Naomi-chan. She's Spark! Um..."

"Second. I kinda. Um. Quit Virtue. Differences. And all and--- Tadase kind of.. wanted me to choose Virute over Hannah-chan." she says grimly.

"....also. If Blue-sama says anything to you about love you kick him in the shins and run!" she says with wide determined eyes. She doesn't elaborate on what she means about that.

She crosses her arms and hrmphs!

"Had a big argument with my sister about it and all too.. but we made up." she sighs a bit and takes a deep breath.

"I'm really glad your back..." she finally says with a flustered blush. "I missed you lots!" she beams!

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Lilac flies over to where Naomi is and looks closely as she gives the thing a once over. "You aren't going to make it blow up are you, Naomi-chan?" She asks nervously as she watches the young girl going to work on a tablet working out calculations.

"Nope!" She makes a quick adjustment to the machine's speed and then steps away. "That should do it! Now it won't knock you over with fast serves! The machine was set for baseballs which are twice the weight of a tennis ball. It the balls has less resistance so they were flying a lot faster! Now its throttled back a little. Serves should be a bit more realistic for you!" Naomi states to Katsu-chan. She quickly turns it on and turns it to shoot at the fence rather then to shoot anyone. The thing fires fast and true. No smoke. No sizzling of stuff! She did it without blowing it up!

Quietly she walks over to join Gull and Victory. Sitting down, she gives a warm smile to Katsu. "Yes, I'm Naomi Yomada. Also Cure Spark." She looks at Gull and shakes her head, "Ummm, I thought you were trying to make up with Blue-sama. I don't agree with that either but he is still trying to look out for us, right?" She smiles a little

Mari Katsu has posed:
    The rapid fire questions of concern from Haruna cause Mari to give a slight smile before she just grins and gives a thumbs up to Haruna before she shakes her head.

"It's alright.. Just alot of things on my mind Haruna-chan..." She pauses... glancing to Raquel who raises an eyebrow and frowns.

"...Aiko got sick. Like real sick." Mari states before she frowns shaking her head, rubbing her arm a bit harder. "And...it's kind of my fault." She replies before she shakes her head. "Having Aiko commute back and forth to stay with me every so often was wearing her out. She's too young for a constant commute and her immune system couldn't adapt properly, so... She fell ill. At least that's what the doctors say. I dunno if it's that or ... something else..." She mumbles, thinking about all the possibilities it could be, given her line of work, before she shakes her head.

    Then Virtue, and Hannah, and the decision to leave is brought up... To be truthful, Mari had never... officially met the Virtue group yet... even if she was technically part of their number through her actions and aquaintences, she hadn't actually signed any contract or anything like that.

"Must have been some kind of difference for you to take such a drastic action... I dunno what's been going on lately, so I can't really give you any advice on any of that... But it sounds like you've already made up your mind... No matter what though you're still going to be my friend Haruna-chan."

    Of course, that's also assuming that Mari was ever... really one to care about team intrigue... Whatever drama had gone on within Virtue probably would have flown right over her head had she actually been around to hear about it. The comment about Blue and relationships causes Mari to raise an eyebrow.. before she blinks.

"...I'm not really sure what good that'll do... he's kind of my boss... Pretty sure I can't just 'kick him in the shins and run'... ...Nor am I really sure why I would. ...did...something happen that i'm not aware of?" She asks before she shakes her head slightly. "I'll cross that bridge when I come to it I guess..." Mari adds before she smiles, putting both arms around Haruna and gives her a reassuring hug. "I missed you too, Haruna-chan... Sorry I ran off like I did so suddenly."

    There were clearly still things Mari wasn't explaining, but at least her given explaination covered all the important bits. Either way, Mari then turns her attention to Naomi before she stands up and walks over, offering one hand to Naomi with a smile.

"So... you're the one who's been looking after Haruna-chan and the city in my place while I was away... Even if you are kind of new, I appreciate that... both of them can get into some pretty big trouble now and again."

    Mari just laughs slightly as she hears the explaination given to her by Naomi then gives a quiet grin.

"This will probably come as a shock to you... But that setting was intentional." She replies before she smiles and slowly shakes her head. "...That setting was lower than I used to use it on." Mari adds before she quietly closes her eyes. "I'm trying to work back up to my previous level of training." Mari continue sbefore she quietly places one hand on Naomi's head and grins. "So don't worry too much about the setting, or the fact that it knocks me off balance every now and then."

    Another mention of Blue... and a mention of Gull having to 'make up with blue-sama' ... something not being agreed with...

"Alright. What's going on...?" Mari asks before she frowns. "I spilled the beans on most of my secrets, so i'd rather not be caught off guard when whatever you're talking about gets brought up with Blue-sama at the worst possible time." Mari states before she takes her seat again and pulls a small lunch container from her backpack and opens it revealing a packed box lunch that she begins dividing up and offering to the other two.

"I can tell by the tones of your voices that it's not good.. so spill it." Mari says before she glances to Gull-chan with the same 'older sister' look she'd give to Aiko if she were trying to hide something from her.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa frowns and places her hands on her hips and leans forward at Katsu-chan.

"Blue-sama says Pretty Cure aren't allowed to fall in love." she snaps. "I say 'No way!'" she insists. "Hannah... was there for me when I was still confused and... not really myself." she says softly.

"...and she's not the most cleanest diamond or anything..." she says.

"But..." she crosses her arms. "Kami-sama can kiss Corvus's feathered butt!" she huffs.

Corvus nods matter of factly. "I'll still work but I'm not playing ball with that..." a pause.

"Oh right, apparently, I can turn into some sort of angel." she says to Katsu-chan matter of factly. "Blue said it was a 'Super Happiness' form!" she crosses her arms and nods.

She looks down at Naomi and nods matter of factly again. "Just..." she huffs. "... look. I already told Suzu-chan not to deal with that bullcrap if Blue-sama comes down on you about it." she huffs.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada looks at Victory and smiles to her, "Haruna-chan met with Blue-sama and they are trying to put the past behind them. I was there when it happened. Blue isn't exactly thrilled with some of Haruna's friends so I offered to help Haruna-chan if she starts slipping down a bad path. I'm not going to interfere or anything. I wasn't trying to be mean in saying that.

When she is complimented, Naomi blushes brightly. "I umm thank you. I'm really new. I just became a cure less then a month ago. Its really been cool though. Its fun fighting off the Phantom Empire, even if it is dangerous. Is it messed up that it makes me happy run them off?"

Meanwhile Lilac is looking a little better. She seems quite happy. "Good job Naomi-chan! It didn't explode!! Yay!!! You should dance more if it helps you do things like that without blowing things up!"

Mari Katsu has posed:
"Is that all?" Mari asks very plainly as she listens to Haruna speak, before she quietly sighs pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm not certain I understand his reasoning for that... But if that's his rule..." She quietly shakes her head. "He's choosing the wrong people to be his warriors. We are born, raised, and live our lives forming attachments, bonds of love that we can't avoid, wether we wanted to or not.. Not merely with those we intend to spend our lives with, but those we call family, and friends as well." Mari states before she quietly sits back taking a bite of her food and chews on it quietly for a few moments. "Bonds that give us our power - our will - to protect this world and the people in it. ...To try and deny us that is just the same as telling us to surrender our power. And that's what I'll say to him if he ever approaches me with this. I'm sure he has his reasons.. and I'm sure they're probably good ones.. But the things I fight for... ...If I had to give up the feeling of passion that Suzu-chan - that my family - that all of you, Haruna, Raquel, and yes even Naomi-chan inspire in me every time i'm with them... Then I may as well return my mirror and cards now. There's no point in fighting if you don't have a reason. It's just meaningless violence."

    Then listening to Naomi as she speaks.. Mari quietly takes a sip of her drink before she frowns slightly glancing back to Haruna silently before she gently reaches up and places one hand on Haruna's shoulder.

"I won't say that I understand entirely what's going on, but..." She pauses and considers her words for a moment before shaking her head. "Haruna-chan is smart enough to know right from wrong, and level headed enough that she won't let personal feelings drive her judgement in that reguard, I think..." She pauses as she considers those words, with the fact that Haruna's already admited to leaving Virtue over this and gives a quiet smile.

"After all, we can't help who we fall in love with. We just do." Mari pauses for a moment as she squeezes Haruna's shoulder with a more serious tone. "...But we can't try to force change to those we love to 'save' them from their own actions, either. It's okay to love and support whoever you wish.. just don't let it drag you down as well sweetie."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa frowns and crosses her arms and shakes her head. "I'm not worried about it. If Blue-sama needs my help. He has it. If he thinks he's going to enforce that stupid rule on me I'm going to punch god straight in the face!" she insists.

She looks down to Naomi and smiles a bit.

"Look, I do some silly things. That's gonna happen a lot. Don't worry about me." she says to the both. Corvus also nods matter of factly.

"Victory wasn't around for when I was Scorn... Boost was. Boost was there when... those idiots in the Dark Kingdom brainwashed me." she mutters. "Boost's been busy with her family's store though." she hurmphs.

She peeks open an eye at Mari... no reason to bring up the fact she died for Hannah once already to her. Yeah... that'd just worry her. And Naomi probably.

"You'll be okay Katsu-chan." she insists. "Blue-sama's really really oblivious so just don't bring it up." she hrmphs.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada frowns and reaches into her bag. Quietly she pulls out a weird device. She opens it up with her tools and gets out a cold heat soldering iron. She quietly begins soldering traces on a circuit board. Then pulling out a few resistors and such, she starts putting them in place.

Lilac flies over towards Katsu and Gull, "She's just trying to help. Blue-sama is worried about you, Gull-chan. She was just trying to make peace you know?" The little fairy just smiles a little. "I'm proud of her. She's been doing her best to improve since I met her. She's been helping out and stuff!"

Naomi just sighs a little. "I told him, his 'because I said so' doesn't cut it in this case. Love is a part of life. I won't seek out love but if it comes I won't turn away from it." She states as she gets out a lolipop and sticks it in her mouth.

Mari Katsu has posed:
"I'm not going to /hide/ what i'm doing from Blue. Besides... I'd rather he not peek through a mirror and catch me and Suzu hugging or something." She mumbles before she shrugs her shoulders. "If he asks, i'll tell him, and i'll also tell him that i'm not going to stop... But I will ask him to explain himself and why he's so concerned, then explain to him why he shouldn't be worried.. and if that's not enough to convince him... He'll just have to deal with it. Or take my power. One or the other." She shrugs her shoulders quietly before she frowns slightly and closes her eyes.

"...Man, I didn't expect all this heavy discussion ... I mean I kinda did... Having to tell you about my sister... but..." She pauses, shaking her head slightly before she stands up.

"Alright! Same thing I did with Boost-chan!" She states, before she turns to Naomi and bends forward patting her cheek. "C'mon! Right here. Hard as you can. Show me your fighting spirit Naomi-chan! Don't hold back one ounce!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa crosses her arms and grins a bit and sits back and watches Naomi's reaction to this. Corvus also watches intently. She shakes her head softly. "I'm sure your sister will be okay, Katsu-chan." she says softly as she smiles. "I know what it's like to hope for someone who is ill." she says softy.. thoughts going to Ao-chan a moment.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada blinks a few times and removes her lolipop from her mouth. "Ummm, riigghht." She giggles a little bit. She puts her loli back in her mouth and just speaks around it. "Sorry to disappoint, but I only punch kindabads, terribads and phantom empire lackies." As she speaks her fingers are working on that little device. The power on it is hooked up and there is no stopping the energy going through it.

"The way I do things is like this."

*FZZZLEPOPFIZZ* *ZZZZOT!!!* *POOF!!!*

a cloud of black soot and smoke go flying all over the place as the circuit board melts from the unrestrained heat and energy. Thankfully it doesn't catch fire but it definitely smells like burnt electronics and everyone is covered in that black soot.

Lilac just looks at Naomi and laughs, "Wouldn't have been easier to just punch her?" She asks.

Naomi wipes off her glasses so she can see out. "Yes? Maybe? No? This was more fun though!"

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Mari just.. blinks quietly at that reacton.. first time she's ever had someone outright refuse to hit her. It honestly catches her a bit off guard. Not to mention that.. sudden explosive display catching her attention causing her a bit more confusion before she just waves her arms a bit excitedly

"Um... You know I did ASK you to hit me, right? That totally makes it cool...! You didn't have to ruin the thing you've been working on so hard this entire time like that... Communication of emotions through a good old fashioned friendship punch was all I wanted!" She states before she blinks and gives a quiet giggle moving over to put both arms around Naomi and pull her into a hug. "... But... I suppose I can understand your position... Not everyone can be as fired up as me all the time..." She replies before she grins.

    Then she glances to Haruna again. "Aiko-chan...." She pauses, shaking her head. "She's fine. She's not in any danger or anything, anymore... She just won't be coming to visit for a while..." She mumbles a bit before she turns again. "....Hey, I hate to dash like this, but I think I'm going to turn in... Training as hard as I did kind of took it out of me... My shoulder's throbbing pretty hard." She states, before she casts one hand towards the two girls with a wave. Probably the first time Haruna's ever heard Mari complain about pain after practice.. But it also probably stands to reason as hard as she was pushing herself, then suddenly vanishing for six months, then trying to push herself to get back in shape, right? Either way, the girl is already heading for the dorms after she finishes her wave.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles and waves. "Katsu-chan! Rest well! We'll meet soon! Dig out Drive and Boost somewhere and have a big Cure BBQ!" she insists with wide eyes.

An explosion has sent soot over the side of her face and made Corvus entirely black.

Corvus blinks.

Haruna blinks.

Haruna bursts out laughing. "Ahahahha Corvus you look like a raven again~" she sings.

Corvus crosses her arms with a hrmph!

She grins.

"We'll get ya back in shape Katsu-chan! I've been training with Hannah! I know alll about Kickboxing now and I run a lot now! Come with me sometimes, okay?" she asks as Katsu-chan begins leaving.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada smiles and hugs Katsu tight. "I don't like to fight so much unless I have to. I do like blowing things up though! Its fun sometimes. Though I prefer be creative. I think thats why I like using magic more then actually punching out stuff." She blushes a little.

Then she looks over at Haruna and Corvus. She laughs over that one as well. Then at Lilac. This makes her laugh even more. "Lilac you look like a pink and black panda!" She giggles and hugs her fairy. The fairy just sticks her tongue out at her.

"Oh yeah I should probably go home too! I am getting hungry and mom is probably making something yummy." She looks at Haruna, "A barbecue!!? I could use my precard so I can actually cook and make something yummy for it!!"
