Location:	Maki Residence
Synopsis:	Norie, or Lacrima, has fled her family's home. Jiaying offers a temporary haven.

Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima has ran away. She's seen the news report. Jiaying might had too, depending how on the nose she is with news or not. Regardless, not soon after. Jiaying gets a series of texts.

'I ran away...'

'ugh stupid brother almost caught me getting my stuff.'

'ugh my stupid family have an actual thing out for me now'

'I hate this'

'I'm coming over'.

Lacrima appears. Well. Lacrima is a strong name for what she is right now. She's Lacrima wearing Norie's clothes so she's just a paleish girl with purple hair and eyes and doesn't ping as 'Norie' for all intents and purposes. Magical henshin disguses are neat.

Anyways, Lacrima appears more directly in front of Jiaying's window and she gives a few gentle taps. She's carrying a duffel bag. It seems really full.

Jiaying Maki isn't big on the news, but missing kid reports do show up pretty easily all over the internet and between shows and all, so she's well aware. Besides, she received text messages about it too. Those help. Her responses:

"Did you leave them notes or anything?" Probably not -

Did he say anything?

Doesn't that mean they're still worried about you, despite it all?

Okay.

All really straight forward stuff really. Opening her window, the fox girl isn't bothering to hide herself, she keeps her windows closed and she's home alone, not that her dad cares mind. Stepping away from the window, she asks, "Want a hug?" Not really sure what else to offer at this exact moment. It's kind of strange knowing that on the one hand, this is bad, but on the other hand, maybe needed for both sides. "The report sent out about you, what did you do before leaving?"

Lacrima answers in texts.

'No'.

'No I left before anyone saw me.'

'Probably'

She steps in and places her bag down and seems to consider the offer of the hug. She decides to take it. It's a short quick hug. Lacrima is cold to the touch as usual when she isn't hiding. She frowns a bit.

She frowns. "Nothing. I teleported in when my parents left. Usually. My brother has his earbuds in doing homework before school. I guess he took them out early. It's okay. He wasn't there when I left. Left the room a mess though. Bet they're gonna be confused as heck cuz the window wasn't unlocked."

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki doesn't comment on the cold, she's used to that kind of cold. For the most part. She won't admit otherwise at least. Still, she gestures further inside. past the futon on the ground and the somewhat messy room to the living room. "I've gotten a spare futon out for you. I'll need to get a blanket if you want one." Hey she's cold, maybe she doesn't need it. "I still think there's got to be a better way to do this." She hesitates, then adds quietly, "Your group you mentioned and then tried to hide. Are they providing you any help at least?" Lacrima might notice the stuffed rabbit following them around. It's not trying to hide either. It doesn't walk so much as hover limply along the ground which means she's not trying to mess with anyone either!

Lacrima eyes the rabbit. "What's that thing anyways?" she asks.

She frowns a bit as she looks down and frowns. "I don't want to hurt anyone in my family." she says softly. "Not again. I just...." she grits her teeth.

She sighs a bit and seethes through her teeth.

"Group...?" pause. "Yeah. Yeah. No worries." she says matter of factly. "With that." she says with a softer frown as she looks down again and walks over to the futon, shoving her duffel bag near it as she sits down on it.

"....I hope this isn't a bother..." she says softly.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki settles down nearby and grabs the rabbit by the ear, getting an audibly annoyed sound. There's a flick of movement that looks like a young girl, then it's suddenly pulled to the toy and disappears again. "This is Meifeng." She taps the doll and says, "Well, her doll. Mine- She hides in it." She doesn't really explain too much, though she does lean in and murmur something to the doll in Chinese. It turns it's head, makes an annoyed sound and then that figure is visible once more. More clearly this time, a Chinese peasant girl wearing rather old fashioned clothing 'stands' there and offers Lacrima a bow, sticks her tongue out at Jia and then disappears again before using the distraction to escale Jia's clutches. "She's a friend, doesn't speak a word of Japanese and harmless." The lat one may be a lie, but she's harmless to Jia.

Jiaying sighs as she listens, waiting patiently in case anything needs to come out before replying, "I don't know about them, but the way you react to it has me worried. Just be careful." She flops back, stretches out fully, a lazy kind of stretch, then she quickly sits back up and says, "Not a bother. I'll have to clear it with my dad if he's back before you've found something more permanent, but that should be easy. He puts up with her." She points to the doll, "After all."

Lacrima blinks once at the ghost in a rabbit and purses her lips. "That's not like the ghost I tried to eat. I'm not doing that again." she frowns. She seems annoyed suddenly, but lets it pass as she frowns and crosses her arms.

"If I tell you.... can you keep it a secret." she says softly. "We're alone here. So I guess I can talk. I don't... talk about it with people." she frowns and shakes her head.

"Besides. Maybe you might find the information useful for yourself if you ever need help." she says softly.

"...okay? But. You NEED to keep it secret." she says.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki pokes the rabbit in the back of it's head and watches it spin and shake it's fist at her. It then wanders off for the time being. "It's similar to the ghost you tried to eat, but she listened to me rather continued raging around. She was just lonely." Resting her elbows on her knees, she watches Lacrima quietly, ears perked up and attentive.

"I do keep secrets better than I keep my fox ears hidden. Sure." She reaches up and pokes at one of those ears for e mphasis, then sighs and shakes her head. "Only if you want to Norie, I'm worried about you, not them ultimately."

Lacrima frowns. "Well. I work for a man named 'Riventon'. Riventon is... like me. He uses Dark Energy and was born that way. He's dealt with a lot of the feelings and things I have, but all his life and he's been trying to teach me how to channel the more 'helpful' negative feelings than the deterimenal ones. Like. Anger is 'good' negative, but sadness is 'bad' negative." she says softly.

"Stuff like that." she says. "He's a scientist, too so he's able to tell me lots of stuff about myself and it's why he's able to help me with things like this braclet..." she says motioning to it.

"We work for an organization that calls itself... Eclipse. Um..."

"Eclipse is kinda like /exactly/ what you think the Illuminati looks like. Weird bussinessmen working in shilloutes making secretive deals and using arcane dark power and what not." she says. "Lots of scary, powerful people."

"Anyways. They help me and I help them. Because I'm.. not a scientist I do mostly well. 'Field Work'? Evacs through the Dusk Zone because that's not a thing everyone can do easily, um... artifact retrival. Stuff like that." she says. "I'm catalouging some Dusk Zone creatures too. Like some sort of... Dark Energy Jane Godall..."

"It pays well. I dun't work for free or for favors." she says.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki makes a couple of mental notes as she listens. She'll do her homework on the group, the people involved and whatever else she can find. Especially at being noted as the Illuminati. "I always did prefer my conspiracies silly and detached from reality." She says dryly at the illuminati comment though. She looks at the bracelet when prompted as well. It takes a few moments and she asks, "Why is anger good and sadness bad? I've got a reason to be said, I've got a few now-" She looks pointedly at Norie as she says that, "I use that to motivate me to try and fix the problem. Sitting around doing nothing about it means you just lapse into a heap of crying. But knowing it's there and acknowledging it isn't bad." Though after a moment she tilts her head and says, "That's for ghosts, myself and- monsters? The demon kind, not the big kind that poof into smoke when beaten."

Still, at the mention of her work, drums her fingers against her knees. "The Dusk Zone? Did you name it, or them? What's it look like?" Hey maybe it's Enma, which is where her mind goes to immediately. Still, she doesn't comment too much more beyond that other than, "Just be careful."

Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima frowns. "Anger can be turned into power and directed. Sadness... causes it to be directed inward." she says. "Sadness is what... makes someone like me sink deep into the dark...?" she asks. "But I think truly that might just apply to humans. I think.. think I already /sunk/ honestly." she says quietly.

"I mean that just applies to people who use 'Dark Energy' really. For you it might be different." she says. "Not everything 'dark looking' uses 'dark energy'." she says. "It's weird." she says.

"The Dusk Zone...." she purses her lips. "I didn't name it. I just... kind of. Knew it's name. Lots of people I know call it that too... and they were calling it that before I was calling it that by myself. Poderoso knew it was called 'The Dusk Zone'." she says softly.

She frowns. "I'd take you but I don't know how it'd affect you, if at all." she says. "I know you'd attract things." she frowns.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki shakes her head and says, "Anything can be directed. I act the way I do to honor my mother. The fact that I'm sad she's gone, means I have to try doubly hard because it's in her memory. Or at least in her name if she's just- What I think happened to her."

"So the same question to you that I've asked Kukai when he wasn't more distracted than I am with Sora- What do I qualify as? He thinks that non-humans don't have that hope egg thing. I don't think I do either. But I'm not strictly a fox like my mother." She's not sure what she qualifies as sadly. Kind of an important question to her, despite not really ever admitting to it.

"We'll.. do that later. For now, relax, settle in, get comfortablle."

Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima is resting on that futon but mostly keeping quiet and to herself. She sort of frowns and digs her hands into the futon. She shakes her head. "Jiaying, you're not a dark energy creature." she says softly. "There's...."

"....things. Tell tale signs. You don't really have any of them." she says softly.

"I call myself a vampire because that's what Poderoso called himself and what others called him, but the fact of the matter is, I'm no different than a lot of these big stupid monsters you see. I eat energy. I'm able to impose my will on regular people. I can travel through the Dusk Zone. The only difference is that I have an intelligence. I just don't..."

"Scream my own name repeatedly while I mindlessy attack." she mutters.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki shakes her head and smiles, "I didn't ask if I was a dark energy creature Norie. I know I'm not. I also like to think it's the intent, not the power itself, but that doesn't seem to be the case, guessing by what you said about that witch. I still owe her a kick or two." She idly rubs at the bandages, which aren't as widespread anymore at least.

"I meant what do I qualify as in the grand scheme of it all. I can't say I'm human, I can't say I'm something supernatural. Straddling both gets me into fights and strange looks. I can't even walk around naturally because I'll either get chased by weirdos or by accused of being a weirdo. Do you know how much it hurts having someone pull on your tail because you messed up and someone thinks you're just being weird? I almost bit the guy. That's a fun thought."

Still, she nods and listens to the rest, and eventually says, "You have intelligence and you still have feelings, you're not like them, you're something else." She holds up her arm, showing a pink line where it's almost healed and says, "A giant mouse did that. It poofed when it was beaten. It acted on instinct and nothing else. Also you're not a pikachu."

Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima crosses her arms. "Well I know I'm not human." she says matter of factly. She head tilts and leans back and lays down on the futon as she spreads her arms out and her legs out. "I only get by like this because I'm just slightly pale, which I can pass off as being sickly or not getting out much." she says as she tilts to her side a bit.

"I'd bet you'd let Sora tug your tail~" she says teasingly with a straight face.

"More seriously." she says. "I have to pretend to be human. I hate it. You don't need to pretend, you're still able to feel certain ways." she says. She sort of rubs the back of the head when Jiaying mentions the witch though.

"Shiniko. I'm worried about her. She's getting more.... brutal." she mutters.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki shrugs and says, "Close enough I figure. Meifeng hasn't been human for a long, long time." The rabbit perks up, looks around, then resumes what it was doing earlier, which is apparently reading one of Jia's comics. "Maybe I've been going about this wrong. You can't change your nature, n-not the big part of it anyway. Maybe there's a way to balance it so you're more at ease though." The comment about Sora gets a hint of pink as she says, "We haven't had much time where I'm not hiding- Depends on how hard though."

"I feel certain ways still, yes. I also felt sick when I took over in the library. I don't like taking away that free will, but it was the safest option. That ghost was someone, still was someone. They had their own thoughts and I reached in and just took it all and bound it into a slip of paper." The comment about the witch gets her attention though. "I can try to help. I sitll want to bite her or something, but I'll help after at least."

Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima nods. "Riventon says I'm a person. I might not be 'human', but I'm a 'person' and that counts." she says softly. She looks down and bites her lip. "I feel lucky that I met Natsumi... she knows what I am.. and need to do... and have done... and she just wants me to be happy." she says silently with a bit lip.

"But I can't even be that..." she says quietly with a sigh.

She frowns. "I know what that kind of thing feels like. Like when someone tries to... 'purify' me..." she mutters.

"I hate it." she says.

She frowns. "So what are you going to do with the ghost?" she asks softly. "It was angry." she says matter of factly.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki rolls her shoulders and says, "That's why I said what I did earlier. Close enough that you're still a person." She sighs after that thought and moves to stand, asking, "Do you want a drink?" as she heads into the kitchen. At the comment that one wants the other to be happy though, she calls over her shoulder, "You still act happy when you talk about her and I'm betting when you spend time with her too."

She sticks her head around the corner and adds, "Maybe that's what that witch needs too, a cute boy or girlfriend."

The last question, that's the big one though. She ducks back around the corner and begins preparing tea for herself. Eventually she says, "I've been trying to see what I can do with it. It's better than the other method I've been doing. It's less final, but maybe it's worse. I don't know yet.'

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana thinks. "Um. Sure. A drink. A drink sounds good." she says softly as she sort of rests her feet up on the bed and sighs. She frowns. "People say that. That. I sound... 'excitied' when I talk about her or when I'm with her. I don't normally sound like that. I dunno." she mutters.

She blinks a bit. "Uh. okay. What's the other method? Just killing it?" she asks softly as she wraps her arms around her knees a bit.

"Oh. Right. Um. I don't.. 'need' to 'eat or drink' like 'real food'. It just makes me feel better to do it. You know?" she asks. "I also do need to sleep. I don't think I talk in my sleep or anything. Usually I just dream of weird colors and mist. Sometimes I have a talk with a voice in a garden. Sometimes I dream of Poderoso." she says softly. "I rarely dream about anything else." she admits softly.

"I dunno why I 'need' to sleep. I get confused and disoriented if I go too long without it. Days start meshing together. I stayed up for two weeks once and it felt like a day." she mutters.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki hesitates at the corner and asks, "Tea, water, I think we have soda or juice too. I'm kind of paranoid about juices though." She disappears into the kitcehn proper after asking, guessing by the way she has to speak up to be heard. "You really do, which is why I think it's still there and just has to be pulled out."

There's a bit of silence, the faint sounds of her preparing her tea the only sound before she calls out, "Basically."

"I remember that much, but I remember you like doing it as well. It's why I offered." She returns with the drinks, whatever it is that Norie asks for (For convenient posing!) and sets it down for her as she takes her own seat. "Weird colors and mist? Does anything happen? That seems- relevant? You've never mentioned the voice in the garden before though."

She nods in regards to needing sleep. "Turning your brain off for a while proably helps things out. I am kind of curious what happens if you keep going, but not enough to ask you to try."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana sighs. "I dunno. Maybe it's just me remembering what I should feel like too." she says softly. "I don't know."

She blinks. "Um. Tea. Tea's fine." she says softly. She'll take the teacup/glass or whatever vessel Jiaying's decided to bring it in and sip it. She doesn't seem to be bothered by it's temperature for better or worse.

She frowns. "The colors and mists? Not really. They just kinda dance and that's it. I don't think it has any meaning. Riventon thinks it's a visual representation of 'whatever I am' filing away things for 'long term memory storage'. Which makes sense considering how long I might live. My head's way of combating the uh..."

"Forgetting more than you've learned... or ever know?" she says. "Ugh I forget the quote." she says.

She shrugs. "The garden um..." she frowns.

"The voice is that third dark one there. The garden is.... well. Four trellis in a rectangle with some weird plants and vines surrounding it and an old old crafted stone bench in the middle. There's like nothing but dark beyond it and no ground-- but there is also a ground." she says.

"It's strange, sorry." she says.

Jiaying Maki stands up surprisingly quickly and wanders off, grabbing her notebook that Norie may recognize and filling in some more details. It gets set aside after, then she finally takes a sip of her tea. Eyes closed she eventually asks, "Maybe. Odd that it doesn't pick some kind of reprensentation though. I mean my brain fills in all sorts of weird gaps."

"That's fine. I do want to see if that shows up in anything later though. Your garden that is. Maybe the Spaniard or if there was one prior wrote it down in a diary."

As a side thought she asks, "What was that witch like before? You said she's getting more brutal. I was serious about helping if she's- if you think it's doable. I might get a cheap shot in before, but I'll help."

Norie Okana shakes her head. "The garden is unfamilar. It's 'mine' as opposed to Poderoso's or anyone elses." she says. "I know that much, but that's just gut feeling...." she says softly.

"I dunno why my head chose that though." she says.

"I felt like I MIGHT had seen it somewhere before, but nothing strange or supernatural." she says.

"I'm pretty sure it's some representation of a musical I was in before..." she says as she frowns and taps her bottom lip.

"Shiniko? Well she wanted to curse 'evildoers'. But lately. She's made allusions to killing them or killing me and stuff like that." she says. "She didn't used to also be able to use the Dusk Zone. I know her power is connected to some sort of 'book' though I don't know anything about it. Just it's a book." she says.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki nods and flips through her note book and makes another note, underlining her previous note and tossing it aside with a sigh. "Well, it was an idea. I'll find something, even if-" she drums her fingers and watches Norie, considering something. "Are you still going to go to Spain? I want to do one of two things depending if I've got a way to go or not as well."

The musical part gets a curious look and she shakes her head, offering, "I don't know musicals, sorry. Makes sense as much as anything though. Do you still dance?"

Then there's the last part. "Kill you? If she's killing them as well- I'll need to stop that either way." She frowns and looks down, "You don't take away someone's chances to atone. You haven't seen the book, guessing by how you're describing it?"

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana shakes her head. "She keeps it too close. I just know it's a book." she says softly. "I dunno if she's killed anyone yet. To be honest. I think you guys may had stopped her from killing that murderer at the courtroom." she says softly.

She frowns. "No.. No I don't. I... I left Dance Club and they won't take me back." she says. "I.. was..."

"It was very 'violent' early on in this. I now know it's because I was starving myself. When I starve myself I get very.... fight or flight and it's usually fight because I need the energy." she says.

"I stopped starving myself and I 'evened out' a lot to where I am now. Not always rational, but I'm not always irratable and able to think without the undertone of 'but does it feed us'?" she mutters.

She shakes her head.

"I need to talk to Riventon about it still. He may want to come. I'm not sure if you could come." a pause.

"Can you turn into a fox like Ayana-chan? Maybe we can put you in a pet crate then...." she taps her chin.

Jiaying Maki takes a sip of her tea before replying, "Let's try to keep it that way. I won't, I won't ask you to tell me if she's planning anything next time. You don't betray friends without a reason. But if I run into her again- It won't be like last time." Mostly because being lit on fire hurts.

"If you're going to be staying like this, maybe we can work out a way to hide anything else strange or tweak things so you can dance again. That might help out?"

She starts to shrug and say, "If I can't come, I can't come-" She was going to add more, but the mention of Ayana gets a scowl and says, "I may be able to with some effort, but I'm not riding in a pet crate. Those areas get cold you know. Please don't compare me to her ever again either."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana gently blinks. "Are you upset at Ayana for some reason?" she asks softly. She shrugs a bit.

She sort of taps her chin. "But..it could be a luxury crate. With a minibar. and cable." she says straight faced neutral. It's this deadpannedness that makes it hard to tell if she's trying to be serious or not.

"I mean. Not really. Sure. Okay." she says softly as she crosses her arms.

She sighs and sips her tea, reamining 'curled up' on the futon as she grumbles.

"...right. I dunno what I'm going to do..." she says silently.

"Can't stay here forever. Can't go back... glad the term's ended for a bit. Gives me time to figure it out..." she says softly.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki looks rather angry for a moment, bristling even. She quickly lets her breath out and spends a few moment smoothing the floof of her tail out. "I ran into her the other day. She automatically decided that being friends with Sora meant she couldn't 'trust me' to quote. Then she realized I wasn't Japanese and- She claimed to be sorry, but still decided I was untrustworthy. For saying hi and having a friend at the time, now girlfriend. Both foxes I've met here in Japan have been underwhelming."

She takes a few more moments smoothing that fur out, looking like she's being meticulous as a way to basically count to ten. "No crates, it's dark, it's loud and it's cold. They wouldn't let me on carry on either I'm sure." she finally gets her temper under control and takes a sip of tea, watching Norie from the corner of her eye. "I will do what I can to help Norie. Just let me know."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana frowns. "It's..." she says.

"Ayana-chan used to be... like me. Filled with Dark Energy and she did a lot of stupid things. Ikiko-chan and some others saved her from that. But... Sora thinks Ayana-chan is just being a 'tricky fox' and using her cousin." she says quietly.

She purses her lips. "I guess it's odd she likes you though." she says tapping her bottom lip. "...she does know you're a fox. Right?" she asks suddenly with wide eyes.

She head tilts and sighs and just places the empty cup down as she buries her head between her knees.

"I texted Natsumi-chan to let her know I was okay and not to listen to the news about me. I told her not to tell anyone where I was. She hasn't replied yet. I hope she isn't upset at me." she sighs a bit.

"But seeing as how she does Horoscopes I wouldn't be surprised if she saw this coming." she says quietly.

"She always seems to be one step ahead of my feelings." she says softly.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki pulls her legs in and rests her chin on her knees, listening to Norie quietly. "I don't care what she used to be, it doesn't change that she assumed I was a bad person because I like Sora and jumped to conclusions about my heritage. I punched the other one that did it. Stupid doll." Hey it looks like she might have a button to push after all. "Anyone that assumes like that- I'll tolerate her for the sake of not just trying to bite her or kick her shins, but that's it for now. Maybe later it will change." She's bristling just a touch at the memories of both her and Maeko and she dutifully begins begins smoothing it all out again. $r
"Yes she knows. I yelled at her for what she said to Ayana the first time because everything she said rings closer to my family than a kitsune. It actually hurt my feelings, but she apologized and- she seemed lonely. It's easier to understand there."

A quick shake of her head and she pulls the hair from her eyes, tucking it to the side while muttering, "I do wish my ears were lower so bangs were easier." She perks back up after though and says, "She's welcome to come as well, I'll stay out of the way."

Norie Okana blinks. "Doll..."

".....does this doll use a cleaver or a knife and talk about curses and what not?" she asks curiously.

She head tilts at Jiaying. She frowns. "Sora doesn't get a lot of alone time because Ikiko's family is very large and lives in a large compound." she says. "She met Kukai and thought she'd found someone she could start to love I guess then Kukai is like the world's biggest...fil..landerer? I think that's the term. Anyways he more or less kissed everyone ever including a few boys and hurt Sora a lot." she frowns. "But that's old news. I think Kukai's calmed down from.. whatever. Now he's just trying to straight up kill me I think." she frowns.

"Huh? No... Ayana-chan wouldn't come with me to Spain with Riventon. Riventon would probably kill her. Ayana-chan used to be Riventon's familar until she was freed and Riventon feels betrayed because that takes a fragment of his soul to do. So it's like. He gave part of his soul to someone who then ran away. You know?" she asks.

"That's what he said anyways." she mutters.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki nods quickly and says, "That's the one. She was trying to do something at the school. I broke some of her smaller dolls and punched her. Found out she's full of Yang too, so next time I'm going to try a shot of Yin to see what happens."

She shifts, stretching her legs out instead now as she says, "I've met Kukai. Bought him lunch because I felt bad for him when I was first out exploring. Then I ran into you and Sora and at least two others that wanted to punch him. Haven't seen him in a while, he's the one that told me human kids have the eggs which is kind of what got me wondering what I count as by the way." There's a moment delay as she gathers her thoughts and says, "It's a different kind of lonely. Kind of like being in the ocean without drinking water. Norie Okana blinks. "Oh, I thought you meant on the spain trip. Natsumi...yeah. I. I'll invite her over soon. If anything to introduce you to her." she says softly. "Usually I go to her place though. She lives on the outskirts and it's quiet there and you can see the stars...." she says softly.

She shifts a little.

"I won't bring Ayana-chan here. I usually meet her at the Church anyways if I meet her." she says softly.

"I can't go to thier compound. I'd probably walk on and set off every sensitive there to try to banish me." she smirks.

"Not really." she says. "But still. Safer than sorry."

She head tilts. "Oh I know you can be lonely surrounded by people. I've felt that way a lot since... this." she says softly.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki nods and says, "Either is fine, just trying to make sure you don't feel trapped or something." She twirls her empty tea cup around, looking into the dregs. "I do kind of miss seeing the stars. It smells weird in the city too, the first night I was here, I couldn't sleep because of all the sound and the smell. I've gotten better. And I listen to music to sleep now."

"I wonder if I'd trigger them then. Might be fun to test with Sora's help. Though that might get her in trouble too so. Probably a bad idea really." At Norie's last comment, she sighs and says, "Of course you do. Sorry.."

Norie Okana shrugs. "I dunno even know if that's a thing. I just stay away." she says softly.

"I'd rather not find out." she says softly. "or get Ikiko-chan in trouble." she says softly and sighs a bit and then streches out finally and lays down on the futon properly as she closes her eyes.

"Thanks for... letting me stay here. I'm gonna need to just be this pale faced purple haired loser for a bit." she says.

Jiaying Maki grabs a pillow and playfully, exaggerating it and all so Norie knows it's teasing, and throws the pillow lightly at her and says, "You're no loser Norie. None of that now. You're a friend that needed help and I'm helping alright?" She stands up, tea cup in hand and asks, "Are you done with yours?" While moving to take it if so so she can clean up and do the dishes.

Pampf. A pillow hits her. "Oh noooo I've been purified by.. some sort of fluffy pillow thing." she says deadpanedly.

"I'm going to. close my eyes. And sleep now I think Jiaying. I'll probably wake up at some point." she says softly. "You can wake me up fine If you need to. No.. um."

"'sudden reactions' to that I don't think if the way my brother woke me up was any indication." she rolls her eyes.

"Just.. yeah." she says as she gently turns over in the futon. "Thanks again..."

She takes the cup and heads into the kitchen, stopping at the door long enough to nod to Norie, "Got it. Sleep well Norie. If you need anything, I'll leave my door cracked.
