Synopsis:	Jiaying finds out Sora is Shiniko. Jiaying knows Norie knew. Uh oh.

Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima is reading one of the books from the manor they explored yesterday. It's a diary of some sort. It talks of.. notes about a Silver Millenium- whatever that is. Of being a student to some seer or socceress. It's all rather confusing and she's taking her own notes on the tablet.

She also has that box of gems as she sighs a bit.

"That old manor..." she mutters. "Was comfortable..." she asides as she purses her lips.

She's mostly keeping to herself. She actually has a box of donuts. Well. No that's a lie. She has five boxes of donuts but she's on the last one.

She sure can eat when she wants to.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki isn't home yet, but Meifeng beats the fox girl home though and the look on her face, see-through as it is is probably telling. She moves to get Norie's attention and tries telling her that, at the very least Jiaying is angry. If it doesn't look like Norie's understanding, she would resort to writing it out in Hanzi, hoping that it translates over to Japanese properly enough. What with it just being Jiaying's name and then the hanzi for anger.

In those few minutes, Jiaying makes it home. She opens the door quietly enough and closes it. A slow, deliberate action at this point. She's wearing the same mist mask as before, completely obscuring her face, though her eyes are visible and reflective. It fades away as she steps into the apartment proper, revealing a clenched jaw and something Norie has never seen on her. Actual, unhidden anger. "What did you tell Sora." Though where the anger is directed is hard to tell at least as she doesn't sound like she's accusing Norie so much as demanding an answer.

Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima is reading when Meifeng comes in... then. She blinks. She tries to understand, she does understand the Hanzi for anger. Maybe not Jiaying's name. Then Jiaying comes in...

Angry. Very angry.

Not annyoed or frustrated angry.

She frowns. "Huh?" she asks. "I've already told you everything I've said.... I asked her to try to help find people to help heal you n' stuff..." she says quietly. She closes the diary and places it against her pillow.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki shakes her head and says, "Fine, what did you tell /Shiniko/. Whatever name you would like to call her by." She steps in and crouches down. Out of reach of Norie, but close enough to make her presence, both physically and magically known.

Looking Norie straight in the eyes, the illusion completely gone to show both her inhuman eyes and sharp toothed smile. One that doesn't hint happiness. "I'm not blaming you. I understand why you'd do it. That's past now. I want answers and anything you know because I am /not/ letting her get consumed by whatever is eating her from the inside. Do you understand?" Did Jia always have visible claws or were those another thing she kept hidden.

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana expression goes from confused to wide eyed, to then immediatly depressed as she seems to collapse in on herself. "So you know now." she says quietly.

She's silent for a good few moments and she sort of curls in on herself. Yeah....

Yeah.

"Most of what I've been avoiding is telling who who Shiniko actually was." she says quietly. "I.. didn't... want to.. hurt you...or Sora... or ruin things..."

"Because I ruin everything I touch....or get involved in..." she says.

"...I told her that she'd hurt you a couple times. To try to.. to get her to reconsider. But.. that didn't work. She just went on... about how it'll be worth it. How what she's doing is important..."

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki watches Norie switch from shock to depression and it actually does manage to suck some of the air out of anger. It doesn't change the problem though. "I know exactly why you did it Norie, it's kind of obvious even when you are ready to break something." Which she might still do.

She takes a few moments, breathing in and out, trying to steady herself. "No more hiding details Norie. I'm angry at her right now. I want to know anything you know. I'm angry at myself too- I should have realized it, especially after talking to Kukai. It explains why she had it out for him though." That's almost amusing. Later it probably will be. Sitting down heavily, she puts her head in her hands and asks, "What's doing it?"

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana frowns. "I think something like a book...?" she asks. "I. Don't know much about it beyond that." she says. This is said with actual honesty. She's only heard mumurings from Riventon-san about Shiniko stuff and some remarks Shiniko's said before.

"I'm sorry. I've just been trying to get her to stop." she says quietly. "Because being this thing I am..."

"I don't think I'd wish it on anyone else. Not right now." she says quietly.

"I was...kind of hoping..."

"You were right... about the gilrfriend thing." she mutters.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki looks incredulous briefly, "A book?" Though that does raise a few questions. She figures a book is no stranger than a necklace in the long run really. She's slowly calming down. One gets the hint that she's actually struggling with it for once though, even more so than when she's been badly hurt.

"Find out anything else you can Norie. I don't know if she's going to talk to me and I don't know if I'm going to be able to resist trying to hit her with positive energy at the moment, so asking her for the book is right out. Knowing what it is would help though..."

The last statement gets a pause from Jia, then the question, "The girlfriend thing?"

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana frowns. "A bit ago. We were talking about me and Natsumi-chan. And you said.. 'I wonder if a girlfriend could help that witch' or something." she says softly. She sighs.

"Shiniko's probably going to stop talking to me. Sora probably isn't happy I brought you to that place. The Dusk Zone." she says. "I dunno if there's more I can do from here." she says. "I can try. But." she sighs a bit and just mutters.

"I was hoping I'd have more time but.. I guess I don't know." she says as she lets herself fall back against the futon.

"I'll...understand. If you wan't me to leave..." she says quietly.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki settles into place, legs crossed and hands on her knees. "Did... she ask me out after that chat?" Suddenly curious. Sure she's still angry, but her efforts are slowly paying off. Besides, she can break something later. Meifeng has managed to somehow sneak onto her lap as a bunny. Which gets an immediate and tight hug from Jia. Because sometimes that does help.

"She told me the same things she told you. That it would be worth it in the end and that she wouldn't let anyone stop her, even me. Is she possessed?"

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana frowns. "I dunno. Shiniko and Sora defintily act like two different people-- but seem aware of one another. I guess it's similar to how people have described me. Having. 'two people inside me' or something." she says dissmissively.

She sighs and stares up at the ceiling as she blinks softly.

"...I'm still sorry." she says quietly.

"Just..."

"Nrg..."

She closes her eyes.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki looks down at the fluff of the stuffed bunny. "She doesn't carry the book around with her either, does she?" What, burning a book is easy, isn't it? Flopping back after that thought, she says, "I noticed that too. Different voice, different attitude right? One sounds unhinged and Sora just sounds... miserable."

Looking up at the celing too, she draws the illusion up around herself, hiding her face mostly. "It's okay Norie. I want you to talk to me instead of trying to hide things though, if it's at all possible." There's a beat and she adds, "I am kind of angry you told her, but not me. Even if it's a bad position either way."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana sighs. "I was..hoping that..."

"Like I said. It'd make her reconsider. Stop it." she says. She sort of curls up tightly.

"I wasn't. Hiding it. I just..."

"Wanted things to be okay. If you two spent time together I was hoping it would stop things." she says quietly.

"I guess maybe heroes are just full of it and that stuff doesn't actually help, huh?" she asks.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki shrugs and says flatly, "Well she apologized for hurting me and deluded herself further. I think it helps. I don't know what I'm going to do now either."

She scowls and says, "I would have spent time with her anyway, probably more time if I'd known earlier- even before we started dating. She always seemed lonely and left out."

She sighs and murmurs, "That's probably how whatever it was, got her."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana sighs and shrugs. "Maybe. I don't know. I tried to get her into...." she sighs. "Into..."

"Look..."

"What I'm about to tell you... you.. um. You need to keep it to yourself... okay?" she asks softly.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki sits up and watches Norie quietly, wondering what she's about to go into. "Get her into what?" She asks quickly.

She curls her fingers in, digging her fingers into her palm, "I keep a lot to myself Norie, I wa-... Yes. I'll keep it to myself."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana sighs. "I work for a company. That calls itself Eclipse. More specfically..."

"I work for a subgroup that Riventon-san heads call 'UMBRA'. It's sort of like dark research. The dangerous stuff. There's lots of people. Like me there. I wanted Sora to come along and join properly, because..."

"because it's done a lot of good for me too." she says quietly. "But she just wants to remain a contractor for Riventon and White." she says. "So she isn't getting the same kind of. Well. 'Magical Health Care' that I do. Like help with my energy control. And Riventon teaching me things. Like the energy bolt thing. That's a manipulation he taught me. It's not super powerful, but it's more economical than one of my spells of a similar nature."

"Riventon-san is. He's like the first person that even seemed to give some sort of inkling of 'giving a damn' about me. Even if it might had been self-serving." she says.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki goes silent for a while as she listens. That actually seems to make her angry again, but she manages to quash it more quickly as, once again she can at least understand why Norie would do that sort of thing.

Letting her breath out slowly, she eventually asks, "Are they going to provide any help? Any tips on catching someone consumed? Otherwise, at this moment. I don't care-" She hesitates and adds, "And from everything I've heard attached to that name Norie, you should keep your contact with him limited. He's as dangerous as Sora is right now."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana frowns a bit. "People keep saying that." she says softly. "That he's dangerous. I can't trust him. But. That's been proven wrong consistently. From my position." she says. She sighs.

She just sort of keeps the rest for herself as she mutters.

"I dunno. I still need to talk to Riventon-san. He's been very busy recently." she says.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki shakes her head and says, "The person telling the story? I'd believe her. Just... be careful Norie." She stands up from her pile of cushions and points to her bedroom. "I'm going to go lay down. Please leave me alone for a few hours."
