- Naomi Yomada has posed:
It's early morning, Sunday. No school today. Not much of anything going on. One person who should be enjoying a long time of sleeping in. She's slipped out this morning and made her way to the beach. Why? Because its a nice day, cool, and that means most people will be avoiding the beach.
Quietly She steps out onto the beach, barefoot. She sets up her tablet and starts off with some meditation music. Why? because she needs to get her mind in the right place. She plops down in the sand and begins.
Sadly, Someone's been keeping an eye on the young girl. Someone's noticed that she hasn't been acting like her normal self of late. That someone was watching from the Cross Mirror Room. Blue was a little curious about what was going on with the young Precure. On top of this, she's not talked to him hardly at all since she returned to action. Idly he pulled out his cure line and called Mari. "Hello Mari-chan, Would you please check up on Naomi? She's been acting a little strange of late and I am a little worried about her."

Among the list of 'precure acting strange' Mari is probably pretty high on that list. With the revelation through Gull-chan that Blue might approach her about her relationship with Suzuki, and her own physical problems, Mari had been pretty reserved and shut in herself. Mind, she hadn't been ignoring calls or the like, but.. anyone who knew to look for her on the tennis courts might be surprised to find that she hasn't been there nearly as often in the past few months.
Still, something like this isn't something she could just brush under a rug. Once Blue had reached out to her, Mari got dressed, slinging her backpack of supplies over her left shoulder, and made her way to the beach to try and meet up with Naomi-chan.
Arriving at the beach it was pretty easy to find Naomi in her spot.. but rather than go for her typical outpouring of energy approach, Mari made her way over to sit near the other cure quietly so as not to disturb her as she was preparing for what looked like some form of meditation.

"Hello." She doesn't know who it is beside her. She just could hear someone beside her. Naomi continues to focus on calming her mind and getting it focused. It takes her a little time. She shuts down the tablet letting the waves guide her.
Then she gets up and begins stretching. Now she can see who is there. "Hello Mari-chan!" She smiles a little and keeps stretching. "I need to train. I'm out of practice. The other night was my first time doing any work as a cure for like two months." She sighs at the thought. Something about that night has her really freaked out.
Once she is stretched out, she begins doing Squats. They suck, yes but she is definite focused on what she is doing. Even as she passes the 10 mark, its clear she's already starting to work up a sweat. "I just need to get better. I've gotta."

Mari gives a slight grin at Naomi once she realizes it's her, then slowly relaxes back into a more seated posture before she smiles. "I wouldn't know, really... I've been out of the loop myself, for nearly four..maybe five months now." Mari states before she slowly shrugs her shoulders, giving a slight wince as she does. "...I had to go home and help take care of a few things for my family, and... well, in the process, I kind of ruined my shoulder. For a while I was hiding it and trying to continue playing Tennis and fighting even in that condition but.. It caught up with me. I'm better now, but... i'm still taking it easy, much as I hate to sit idle." Mari replies before she shakes her head a bit. "So.. I've been out of the loop.. don't really know what happened the other night or for that matter, the last few months..."

Naomi Yomada nods and keeps going. She is pushing herself. "I've been out for Two." She states. "Got grounded. Blew up a hot water heater. Turned my mom blue." 25, 26. "I wasn't able to do anything until my mom was back to her normal color. Don't ask." 29, 30.
She keeps going, Her body in a full sweat now. "Dunno if you noticed the lack of Orange in the color spectrum. Mundane people don't notice it. Anyone touched by magic notices it. Prism Keeper Orange has been injured and stuff happened causing her color to be wiped out. The other nice, Riventon got it in his head he was going to become the new Prism Keeper Orange and bring Orange back to the world. With him was Lacrima. He was stopped. I umm... Used my finisher on Lacrima. Its the second time I've done that to her. I felt really bad the first time. This time it's worse." 49. 50. She stops and changes gears. She begins running in place. "If I were stronger. I know I could help her and stop her from doing this stuff again." There is definitely more.

Mari ... just blinks a bit. "I hadn't actually noticed.. To be honest, i'm kind of oblivious to stuff when details are concerned... Probably a reason i'm in the shape i'm in right now." She mumbles a bit before she shakes her head silently, listening to Naomi discuss the things that are bothering her. A few moments later, Mari quietly frowns and shakes her head. "I know how you feel. But... Sometimes we can't afford to hold back... Not if we're going to protect the world." She quietly frowns as she thinks about that, then shakes her head again before she sits up. "Strength isn't enough, Naomi-chan." She states as she glances to the other precure. 'Power without compassion or restraint won't solve anything. You have to have power to defend the things you love, yes... But you also have to know when to use that power and when.. a more delicate approach is needed."
- Naomi Yomada has posed:
"She didn't leave me a choice!" Naomi states. "I didn't want to do it but I didn't have a choice. Letting them continue would have been a far worse. How the heck does someone get so twisted. She honestly believes that harming people, non magical types, was the right thing to do!" She frowns. "And then that Riventon, The guy dark enough for Lilac to pull me out of bed forcing me to go to that fight because of the dark energy." She sighs and just drops down to her knees. "Its why I have to get stronger. Better."
- Mari Katsu has posed:
"Sometimes, you /don't/ have a choice. Sometimes you... we have to do what's best for the world despite what we want." She states with a slight frown as she thinks about something then shakes her head and stands up, moving to help Naomi up as well before she quietly sighs. But distancing ourselves from our friends to practice alone or improve isn't going to be any help to anyone.. It's just going to isolate us.. make us more vulnerable targets..." She pauses frowning for a moment. "..Endanger those we care about." A few more moments pass before she shakes her head. "You want to get stronger, I can respect that.. But don't try to do that alone. You have friends - team mates - who can help you. Not only help you get stronger but temper your resolve."

Naomi Yomada looks at Mari and just hugs her tight. "I'm just worried. Then there is another thing." She trails off, not breaking the hug just yet. "I think I might really like someone." She breaks the hug and just begins rubbing her head. "I think I'm in love."
She turns and kicks some of the sand. "I am scared to let myself do this. I am scared! I don't want to stop being a precure. Its not fair! What is so bad about falling in love?"

Mari just... frowns quietly at that before she leans over and puts both of her arms around Naomi in a /surprisingly/ knowing hug.. one that gives the feeling that Mari might know more about Naomi's situation than she should. "...Being in love doesn't mean you have to give up being a precure... Blue-sama... Something about him... I haven't put my finger on it, but his rule..." She quietly sighs. "I don't understand it myself but... Suzuki-chan and I have been dating... in love for well over a year now. I'm still a precure.. Blue-sama hasn't approached me directly, but... Gull-chan.. She's still a precure.. she's in love too. Being in love doesn't mean we can't be precures... but there's something about it that Blue-sama is trying to protect us from.. I'm just.. not sure what yet."

Naomi Yomada looks at Mari and thinks a little. "I just really like being able to help people. That to me is a really cool thing and it lets me make a diference. I mean right now, Its just a crush. Thats not that bad right? I mean its just a little crush." She sighs alittle. "I hope Blue will understand."

Mari just smiles a bit as she shakes her head. "Even if Blue-sama doesn't. the rest of us will. So don't worry. We're not going to treat you differently just because you fall in love." Mari replies with a grin before she waves her hand dismissively. "Besides.. If Blue-sama makes too big of a fuss, we'll just beat him with pillows or something until he submits." She adds in a joking tone.

Naomi Yomada smiles a little. "You're right. We can always fluff him with feathers or something! I guess falling for someone isn't the worst thing. He danced with me and he caught me when I sorta fell and stuff. I was teaching him to dance and everything. It was awesome!"

Mari just blinks a bit before she slowly blushes and rubs the back of her head. "Guess...i shouldn't have been so quick to blab about the name of the one I fell for..." She replies before she shakes her head. "It never occured to me I might be being a bit forward with that info." She replies before she smiles. "Still, that's great to know, and there is totally nothing wrong with it. At least not from where i'm standing." She replies and slowly smiles. "After all, love is our strongest weapon."
