When Magical Girls Collide!
Date of Scene: 24 July 2015
Location: Uminari City - Juuban Avenue - South
Synopsis: Amaya and Suzki run into each other, and Mari's a witness!
Cast of Characters: Mari Katsu, Suzuki Natsume, 53

Mari Katsu has posed:
It's been a busy year - at least for Mari.. School started off rather chaoticly after summer break, and on top of that, there's some kind of weird pre-cure hunter she has to worry about. Still, it hasn't been terrible, she's stomped some Terribads, made two new awesome precure friends, and possibly even started the beginnings of a team - yep. Life was definitely looking up. That is if a few days away from the city hadn't changed everything and Yuko and Amaya hadn't run off to join some other team while she was busy. Still, right now she had to do shopping - her dorm room needed to be stocked up for the upcoming weekend. So a short walk from the dorms, and Mari makes her way out to the street, bouncing a tennis ball on the surface of her tennis racket, while she walks along not really paying attention to where she's going.

Cure Drive (53) has posed:
Amaya's ribs have healed up for the most part, but that wasn't the beginning of what has happened. A lot has happened a few weeks ago, but since then she has been laying a bit low at home. She was sticking around school for a while longer today, and just seemed to be roaming the halls rather than helping with clubs as she normally does. "I wonder if I should start charging clubs for my help...?" She leans her head back a bit, tapping at her chin in thought as she doesn't seem to be paying any attention to what is in front of her.

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
...It looked like three people weren't paying enough attention, today. Though Suzuki slightly moreso than the other two. It was summer, after all! And Suzuki was also out to go shopping. A different kind of shopping. She wanted summer clothes. Clothing that wouldn't make her sweat or be uncomfortable! Though, as she walked and mused over what she would get... she realized something important. Her parents had forced her to wear kimonos and other traditional attire for so long.

And Suzuki had no idea how to fashion. What was it that people tended to /wear/ in summer. Obviously light things, maybe shorts and a t-shirt... possibly something like her school uniform? As such, as Suzuki walked, she was deep in her own thoughts, not aware of the other two. Coincidentally, they were all likely walking towards each other from different directions.

This could only end poorly. Or hilariously, depending on viewpoint.

Mari Katsu has posed:
The three people moving towards imminent destruction is likely a hilarious sight to any interlopers or on lookers, at least until Mari stops and allows her tennis ball to bounce up into the air, coming back down to land on her head as Suzuki and Amaya collide infront of her, the young woman raising an eyebrow as she spins her racket in her hand and slides it into her backpack like a sword into it's sheath.

"Guys... You should really be more careful. I mean really, walking down the street like that not paying attention to where you're going is dangerous." She states with a slight giggle, knowing full well she hadn't been following her own advice.

"Amaya-chan. Good to see you up and about... I'm out shopping for provisions for the dorm." She states, before her eyes move to Suzuki and the young girl smiles. "Yo.. I don't think we've met. Mari Katsu. Nice to meet you!"

Cure Drive (53) has posed:
Amaya's left leg moves back to keep her from falling over.. Her gaze then looks to Mari, then to the girl she had just bumped into, and blinks a couple of times wondering when she made it outside. She then shakes her head rapidly, "Must be the meds the doctors have me on.." Her ribs are mostly healed, but they still are sore, but she doesn't let Suzuki or Mari know that bumping into Suzuki did actually kind of hurt...

"Yep! I'm out and about, and just pondering things is all." She raises up her left arm, and pats one of the spots where her ribs were broken, then grins widely before looking back to Suzuki, "Naga Amaya, it's nice to meet ya, person I just bumped into. Sorry.. Heh..."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
.o(Let's see. Was it... skirts and t-shirts that went together, or skirts and blouses? Shorts and long-sleeved shirts? Did she need to get cute socks to go with a cute skirt? What skirts looked good?)o. Suzuki continues to walk slowly, her movements that practiced step of a warrior. However, the practiced step of a warrior was nowhere near good enough when you had the distracted mind of a puppy. The jarring feeling of person against person was something that Suzuki wasn't expecting.

However, it wasn't quite as bad as the times she got struck by kendo sticks, so she also managed to keep her balance. If... barely. Naga was bigger and heavier than her, so her movement was a bit more pronounced in catching herself. "W-- ..." Suzuki looks over towards Mari at her comment, her cheeks beginning to burn a very subtle red of embarassment. "A-ah, sorry." She murmurs quietly, her tone coming out a bit awkwardly. "I was distracted with my thoughts." She looks towards Mari a few more moments, before offering a small bow of her head towards her. "Suzuki Natsume. A pleasure to meet you." Even other schools likely knew of her -- the helper girl of Seiyou, and one of the monsters of Kendo. ... Also many consider her an ice queen, due to her quiet awkwardness.

Suzuki then turns towards Amaya, tilting her head a bit. "Meds? ...Up and about." She muses a moment. She must have recently had some form of injury or illness. "...It's good to hear that you're doing well, Amaya-san." She says carefully, noting that patting of her ribcage. "I didn't exacerbate anything, I hope." Suzuki says, her gaze shifting briefly up towards Naga's face to check for any immediate pain.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari quietly giggles as she stands in place, holding that tennis ball on her head as she quietly frowns and shakes her head.

"It's alright, really. Accidents happen.. Truth be told, had I not stopped when I did, I'd have joined you in that pile." She states, before she quietly smiles and gives a gentle bow. "Suzuki Natsume... That name sounds familiar, though I don't think I've met you personally.. I must have heard about you from a friend." She says before she shrugs, looking to Amaya, giving the girl a glance of concern before she quietly smiles.

"Well alright. If you're back up and moving, i'm sure things will be back to normal in no time. Me, I'm just considering what to buy for the weekend food supply... Living at the dorms by myself is kind of chaotic, when I don't know what I want to buy or cook... It's either that or eat at School..."

Cure Drive (53) has posed:
Amaya nods a little bit, "Unfortunately, I can't help you with any of that Mari, sorry.." She sighs a little bit, and bows her head softly to Suzuki and Mari. "I must be getting home unless I want to worry my parents. They aren't used to be being out so late."

With that, Amaya turns and starts to walk the other way, heading back to the school as if to get her things from the class room in which she is in during the day. "See you this weekend, Mari and nice to meet you, Suzuki! You better be around after school on Saturday, Mari!" With that she vanishes into the school.

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...I help people a lot. My name spread, I guess." Suzuki responds quietly in response to the familiarity of her name. This was also in part because Seiyou tended to interact with other schools. A lot. Suzuki looks towards Mari curiously a few moments, listening as Mari talks about what to buy and similar. "...Do you have a small budget, or a larger one for food?" Suzuki asks Mari curiously. "...And do you have a lot of time to cook?" She adds curiously.

Amaya is given a small smile. "...Take care, Naga-san." Suzuki says with a small bow of her head. "It was nice to meet you as well." She murmurs gently, before her gaze returns to Mari as Amaya leaves. Hmm.

"...May I ask you an odd question? ... What do people generally wear during the summer months?" ...Considering she was currently wearing a mildly modified kimono, the question of what people wear might not be /that/ strange, considering that she probably looks like she belongs in the past. Except her hairstyle, which is a bit more modern.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Raising one eyebrow slowly, Mari just stares at the young woman in the Kimono quietly before she clears her throat and motions down. "It's not much but.. people usually dress in whatever feels comfortable to them, whenever they're in the summer months... Light fabric, cool colors.. that sort of thing. There are even summer kimonos that are made out of lighter materials so that they don't bake the people wearing them, if you'd rather stick with your current style."

Shrugging her shoulders a bit, Mari just smiles as she tilts her head back so that her Tennis ball rolls off of her head and into her pack. "Me.. I prefer light fabrics, usually in skirts or shorts for sports.. I wouldn't mind taking a detour and helping you shop, if you like."

"As for my cooking.. I usually just buy light things that I can cook quickly while I'm studying, or before I run off to practice.. though my budget for food is actually pretty decently alloted so that I could eat nice, if I wasn't so lazy with the prep work."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Suzuki gave a bit of an awkward smile at that raised eyebrow and staring. "..Sorry, I know it's a strange question." Suzuki says lightly, her gaze shifting away very slightly as she listens. "...Ah, so basically just... try things on and see what is liked. I see." Suzuki says, her eyes sliding closed thoughtfully. There were a lot of outfits she would probably try on that were normal and common that... would make her very embarassed. People wear that?!

"...Light fabrics is somewhat of a given, even kimonos... yes. What you said." Suzuki says softly, shifting her gaze left and right, before stepping in towards Mari, beginning to speak in an almost conspiratorial tone, "...My aprents prefer me to always wear kimonos and such, I would like to get a set of much less... 'formal' clothing to wear in general, beyond my school uniform." She whispers carefully.

Not that her parents really could hear her. But she was in a rebellious mood! "...Hmm. Well. There is always ramen, of course. Though the prepackaged ramen is an abomination." She comments, before she muses a few moments. "How good are you at actually cooking?" Suzuki asks curiously towards Mari.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Glancing over at Suzuki, Mari just quietly giggles before she shakes her head. "Oh my, rebel without a cause, over here. T-Shirt and Shorts." She states with a giggle, at Suzuki's expense before she quietly smiles and offers one hand to Suzuki and giggles. "Come on. We'll find you a nice clothing store to check out... Infact, I know one not far away." Mari replies as she turns and starts leading Suzuki along. "Ramen.. I've never been good at cooking Ramen... Chou Mein, though.. I looove delicious chou mein."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...I have no idea what you're talking about." Suzuki says in response to the rebel without a cause comment. Yep. She's totally playing ignorant! Or maybe she actually is ignorant. "...Still, I was thinking of getting a t-shirt and shorts, yes." Suzuki adds with a comment. She begins to follow after Mari when she says to come on. Because following strangers was totally healthy! ... Well, to be fair, she was a stranger who was the same age as her and also a kid.

"...Chou... mein? I am unsure what that is." Suzuki says, tilting her head curiously. "...Packaged ramen is generally as easy as putting the noodles into water, cooking it on low, and waiting until the noodles soften. You do not want them to soften too much." She ahems softly. "However, Chow Mein... hm. I'm sure that we can get some good items for you to cook with later." Suzuki says lightly.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just smiles. "It's a joke kiddo.. I don't mind helping you shop for clothing if you'll help me shop for food... Though if it's something I haven't cooked before, I might need to train with you to learn it." She giggles. "Do you live in town? I live at Verone Academy's dorms... My family lives out of town, the only one I see regularly is my sister, who comes to stay with me during school breaks.. Right now she's at the dorm doing some studying for next semester." She states before she quietly shrugs. "It's good that I stay here, though.. I'm prone to waking up all hours of the night..." She shrugs a bit before she giggles.

Glancing to Suzuki, Mari just smiles as she nudges the girl. "We'll find you a lovely outfit.. and it won't just be shorts and a t-shirt... We'll find you a few different outfits both comfortable and liberating, hm?" Mari pauses, glancing to the girl for a moment. "Maybe... a skirt... or a dress..."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...Ah. I see, a joke." Suzuki says, her head tilting thoughtfully as she listens to her. "...That sounds like a fair trade." Suzuki says with a simple nod. "...Also, I believe we are roughly the same age, 'kiddo' is possibly ... inaccurate." Suzuki adds. She continues to walk behind Mari, her gaze shifting here and there towards various shops and similar, working at taking in what was on display as 'common things' that people wore. Displays were what were popular, right?

"...That was simply an example of something I was intending on getting, a single outfit would not be able to last me through the entirety of summer." Suzuki adds, shaking her head very slightly. "... Though not too many, I don't have /that/ large of an allowance." Suzuki looks towards Mari a few moments, taking in her general appearance. "I noticed the way you put away that racket out of the corner of my eye, by the way. ... Are you a fan of swordplay?"

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just giggles a bit at the question before she quietly pulls her racket out, Raquell falling out of her backpack as well having been clinging to the item for steadiness, and 'pomf'ing on the ground like a plush toy, to which Mari just blinks and rolls her eyes slightly before she kneels down and picks the fairy up putting her on her shoulder tucked under her hair.

"No, I just... take my Tennis very seriously... I'm always inventing new ways to practice fluid movement and balance and speed and power... It's part of the training course I take at Verone." she states with a smile before she glances around, pointing to a lamp post nearby which she slams a tennis ball into, the ball bouncing off of the curved surface in such a way that it returns to Mari with a right curved arc.

Mari herself returns the ball, hitting it to the left so that the ball curves back around to hit the lamp post again, then flies back at Mari straight on before mari leaps into the air and then slams the ball downwards so that the ball slams into the pavement and spins in place before launching up into the air almost out of sight as Mari positions herself to catch the ball on her head, it bouncing twice before finally coming to rest.

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Suzuki glances down towards Raquell when she drops out of Mari's backpack, giving a small smile. "...That's a very cute plush toy." She comments quietly, tilting her head a bit as the fairy is placed onto Mari's ... shoulder? Surely it wouldn't stay like that. ... Oh. It must be Mari's hair that keeps it there. Of course. "...And a good trick with your hair."

"Ah-hah, I see. You take your tennis seriously." She pauses. "...Similar to myself and Kendo." Suzuki says softly. "Though there is always the importance of taking breaks to let your body relax." Suzuki watches as she throws the ball for the lamp-post, bouncing it. ... hm. She wasn't necessarily disapproving, but it did seem like it was a tiny bit dangerous.

... And then Mari slams the ball into the ground, watching as it spins, and then... flies into the air almost out of sight. Alright. That had to have some sort of magic involved, THAT, Suzuki was sure of. "...Well. You're surprising. So what was the shop you were thinking of taking me to?" Suzuki asks curiously. .o(Probably some sort of shop that had plenty of dark colors, considering I have silver hair! Maybe. Or something. Maybe some pastel colors? ... How do you do color matching again? Crap. I can't remember.)o.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just giggles as she lets the ball roll off of her head again before she slides the raquet away and grins. "Surprising? No no.. I owe it all to my trainer. Toriyama-sensei trains me in an unorthodox method that allows me to build up more strength than just about any other player.. He hopes that I'll be the player to make his training standard." She replies with a giggle before she quietly smiles. "Well.. Kendo, huh? Tell you what, you teach me Kendo some time, and I'll teach you how to play real Tennis." She replies with a wink as she gives a slight grin.

"As for the store.. Do you like bright colors? With beautiful silver hair like yours, you'd look great in a color that compliments it.. Sure, alot of people would suggest darker colors, but that's /horrible/ for summer. The dark colors attract more heat.. and frankly - dark colors can be a bit depressing, if you just surround yourself in them."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...That is surprising in its own right, Katsu-san." Suzuki says softly. "Though sometimes it can be the best kind of training, the unorthodox type." Suzuki says, stepping a little closer to Mari, intent on getting a closer look at her 'plush toy'. "...Much of Kendo is simply muscle memory, it likely wouldn't be nearly as fun as if you were teaching me how to play tennis." Suzuki murmurs softly. "At least, at first." She smiles very slightly though, "I would not mind giving you some basic instruction, but generally the start is getting your body used to swinging the blade... which would likely not be as hard for you since you're used to swinging a tennis racket. If... a bit heavier, due to differences in size and length."

The quetion of bright colors gets a thoughtful look, before a small nod. "Yes, I suppose that I do like bright colors, though I do have a fondness for some of the deeper greens. It reminds me of the peace of nature." She says softly. "...I may have to trust you on what looks good or not, however, as if it were up to my parents, I would likely be wearing a yukata or a kimono any time I wasn't sleeping."

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just smiles a bit giving a thumbs up. "It's a deal, then. Kendo for Tennis. You only live once, so you have to experience as many things as you can." She giggles. "Who knows, I might find some way to include your Kendo in my Tennis moves." She states, blinking as Suzuki moves a bit closer.. infact it makes her blush slightly before she blinks looking at Raquel's direction noticing your eyes focused on her, there's a slight exhale, then she giggles. "Neat, huh?" She tilts her head showing a small belt clasped around the 'toy's waist that affixes to her shirt collar. "It keeps her held in place. It was a gift from my dad's friend when I came to the city."

Smiling a bit, Mari just giggles before she nods her head. "I'm no fashionista, but I get by... I won't promise you'll make it with any in crowds, though... That said, I do have a pretty big following, myself.."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...Yes, though, like I said. At first, Kendo is a lot of repetition to get muscle memory. It may not be a very good trade for you in the short run." Suzuki says softly. "Basic moves are not exactly the most entertaining of things, but they lead into something that is very fun, however... I may be biased." Suzuki says with a chuckle. She looks at that belt and clasp, watching Mari curiously. That blush was noted, though she figured it was just the suddenness of her stepping closer. "...She's a very cute toy, I've never seen one like it before. I wonder if your dad's friend made it themselves." Suzuki murmurs quietly.

"...That's alright. I don't necessarily want a fashionista's advice. ... I already get enough attention because of how tall I am." Suzuki says quietly. That and how badly she is at handling large crowds, but that's beside the point. "...I imagine I have somewhat of a following, but kendo isn't quite as popular as tennis." That and she did her best to hide from her following. A trait that they possibly enjoyed! Their 'shy princess of kendo'! ... Or something along those lines. Assuming she had one, of course.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just giggles a bit as she shrugs her shoulders. "I couldn't say. She was given to me by my father, so I don't even fully know which friend gave her to him." She states, referencing the doll as a her. "Whatever the case, having her around has been comforting.. though I have to take her off in class so that she's not a distraction.. The teacher doesn't care for it."

A shrug of her shoulders later, she just smiles as she moves to step away from Suzuki and further down the road. "Tall? I hadn't noticed." She states with a reassuring giggle. "I think it's nice.. Being taller would be nice because it would give me a reach advantage... Sadly, we work with what we're given, in those reguards. Though, I can't complain.. My smaller size makes me quicker."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...That's...interesting. He didn't tell you the name of his friend that gave it to you?" Suzuki says, musing a bit. "Ah! I know. He probably asked for it and was too embarassed to tell you directly." Suzuki says with a mildly amused look. Because people are actually like that! Really! "...Comforting? I suppose she would be, having something with you like that at all times." She smiles, lifting her hand up to show off a bracelet with a small naginata hanging off of it. "...I got a good luck charm for the same reason." Suzuki says softly, lowering her hand shortly afterwards.

"...Smaller size has other advantages, such as fitting in smaller spaces, not hitting your head on hanging lights, and other such things." Suzuki comments lightly. "There are upsides and downsides to both. Though luckily I'm not so tall as for everything to be completely awkward." She lifts the tip of her braid to brush over her cheek thoughtfully. "...Though tall people can be just as quick as small people, we simply have to move in different ways." She adds.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just smiles a bit before she quietly giggles. "Yes, I'm sure that's what it was..." Not that he was GOD or anything. Nope. "Besides... It really doesn't matter how I came to possess her, she's here, and that's all that matters, right?" She asks as she cuts Suzuki a rather sudden glance that she might notice. Then smiles. "Your bracelet is very pretty... I think everyone has that one special something that they own that brings them comfort in one way or another... It's good to find that thing and protect it."

Then she smiles as she moves down the street a bit further. "You know.. At the pace we move while talking, we might not make it to the shopping district before night fall..." She states with a quiet giggle before she glances back at Suzuki. "Not that I mind. You're a cool girl, and talking to you is relaxing... Especially after practice today, I thought coach never was going to stop yelling."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...I suppose it doesn't matter how you came to possess her." Suzuki says, a little off-put by the question. Why did she phrase it that way? That seemed odd. Then again, this was coming from the girl who hit a tennis ball in such a way as to make it /spin on the ground/ before flying up into the air, so she decided to take anything she said or did at face value and just assume she had a good reason to say that. Because really. She wasn't a coward, but that was just tempting fate. "Thank you. And... mmm. Yes, I guess? ... This was mostly just gotten as a good luck charm because I was struggling with something, though. It helped." Suzuki says quietly.

She had totally been walking this whole time! And probably matching Mari's pace more than anything. "...We should perhaps hurry, then. Unless you don't want to make it before nightfall. This area is probably safe enough we could get away with it." Suzuki says with an amused look. That and she could always just find a suitably strong stick and beat any muggers or other dangers into submission if push came to shove. "..." And then Mari complimented her. Suzuki gave her a quiet look. "... I suppose that I do have a cool personality, yes. My parents taught me to always keep calm in all situations, even when angered or upset." Suzuki says softly, giving a small smile. It took a bit of mental fortitude not to blush at that moment! And even then her cheeks had gotten a small amount of color.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just giggles a bit before she looks to Suzuki with a smile. "You're cute when you blush." She states suddenly before she giggles. "Dressed like that, you look like some kind of princess from a foregin land... I like it." She says before she smiles as they reach the clothing store. "I really don't know what your 'style' will be, but I'll help you pick out whatever you like." She replies before she waves her hand a bit. "While you're looking around, I'll see if I can find a new sports Visor.. The one i've been using is kind of old and ratty, now... It needs to be replaced - or repaired, but I d unno enough about sewing to fix it up.. It's sad, though.. It's my favorite."

Shrugging her shoulders a bit, she turns and heads down the accessories displays, checking each stand until she finds the hat section and begins checking through it for the afformentioned sports visor.

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...I don't believe that a princess from a foreigh land would wear a kimono, Katsu-san." Suzuki responds softly, logic! Logic would save her from the awkwardness of having no idea what on earth she's doing! She steps into the clothing store quietly. "...I am not entirely sure where to start, to be honest." Suzuki responds quietly about looking around, her gaze shifting curiously around the room. After a few moments, she began to slowly look around.

And by the time Mari comes back, Suzuki has found... a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. The colors matched, so she at least had that for her! She had tried to follow Mari's suggestion of bright clothing, so she'd picked out a floral print t-shirt with bright pink flowers on a white background, and some shorts that probably would go to around the middle of her thighs, closer to her knees and relatively modest. More or less. It wasn't terrible! But most people might have already picked out several outfits to choose from by now.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just smiles a bit as she nods her head giving Suzuki a thumbs up. "Hey, not bad. You keep this up, you might actually set a fashion trend." Mari says with a grin - By now Suzuki will have probably realized it's rare for Mari to look down on or berate just about anything - unless it's evil and grody, in which case it's fair game to tell them exactly how evil and grody they are. "I love the floral print t-shirt, the most... I might actually have to pick one up, next time i'm here shopping for a new outfit." She replies before she smiles. "Do you have enough to cover it? If not, I can help and split the cost. I totally don't mind."

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Suzuki actually looks worried when Mari suggested that. "...Do you really think so?" Suzuki asks. Oh god setting a fashion trend meant popularity and popularity meant /people/. And while she liked people, she was already beginning to struggle a bit with the amount of people that already seemed to like and interact with her! "... ... I have enough for it." Suzuki says, beginning to walk over towards the checkout counter with Mari. And then she does that sneaky thing that sometimes ruins friendships. Or makes them better. "...Add her visor to the bill, please." Suzuki says, before quickly paying before Mari can protest.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just blinks a bit before she rubs the back of her neck awkwardly then moves up quietly to stand behind Suzuki for a moment. "Suzuki-san.. You really didn't have to do that.. Infact I was offering to help you pay for your new outfit." She replies before she clears her throat a bit and smiles. "Thanks, though.. I appreciate it. I'll pay you back for it, some day." Of course, given how those promises tend to play out, it'll be in some horrificly shocking way that leads to Suzuki realizing the true nature of her new friend at some critical moment that leaves so many things left unsaid! Or she'll just buy her lunch. It's really hard to say.

To a more serious point, though, Mari just smiles a bit as she slides the sun visor on over her head and flicks it gently. "It'll take some breaking in, but I think it'll work just fine." She says with a grin before she smiles and looks back to Suzuki. "You're sneaky..." She comments, teasing Suzuki for her sudden decision to pay for the visor.

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"I did not have to, no." Suzuki responds to Mari, carefully folding her clothing and slipping it into a small bag, opting to buy one of the eco-safe bags rather than use plastic. "...I'm sure that you will, but it just seemed like a proper trade for the help." Suzuki says with a simple nod. It's okay, that horrifically shocking way that it's revealed will also likely result in Mari learning that Suzuki is actually Storm Knight, the rumored savior of the Infinity Boxing Club! ... Of course, the news denied that, but anyone in the magical realm likely believes it.

"...Like a new pair of shoes, I suppose?" Suzuki asks towards Mari curiously. "...I wasn't aware that visors need that. Usually I end up with a paper umbrella if I need shade from the sun." Yes. She was that traditional. And possibly old-fashioned. "...I am very bad at stealth, in actuality." She says, remembering her night meeting with Mamoru. Yep.Definitely bad at stealth. "If I was properly stealthy I would have somehow snuck the visor out of your hands and paid for it before you realized it." Suzuki comments as she steps out of the store with Mari.

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just grins before she closes her eyes. "Any new article of clothing needs to be broken in before the wearer becomes 'comfortable' with it.. Otherwise it would stay stiff and new and not have the personality that we come to love about our favorite articles..." She pauses. "I mean, take your Kimono, for example... Would you rather have "Your" Kimono, or would you rather have an exact duplicate fresh as the day it was first put on?" She asks.. its' a silly question. Alot of people might not care which.. But it apparently means something to Mari. ""Old" clothes have a history.. They've been through everything you have up till the point that they can't serve their purpose any more.. It's a weird thing to think about, I guess." She replies before she quietly giggles as she steps out of the store and smiles turning to look down the street. "I think the closest corner store is that way.. The market has a better selection, but I don't mind heading for the corner store since it's closer." There goes that 'laziness when it comes to food' attitude again.

Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...I suppose. It's like how my training sword is better than any other, even one new that has been carved with new techniques that make it better tha anything older, I would likely still choose mine." Suzuki responds quietly. The question of her Kimono gets a quiet look. "My Kimono." She states simply. Though honestly she'd rather wear her school uniform, but that would look strange during a summer vacation.

"... A corner store is not good for anything that you're planning on actually making." Suzuki says towards Mari, tilting her head a moment. "...But the corner store is acceptable for a day or two's worth of food so that we can meet again when it's not as dark." Seems like Suzuki isn't going to let Mari be lazy with food!

Mari Katsu has posed:
Mari just grins and nods. "See? It's not just the outfit, it's the sentimentality and memories, even if it's a particular garment you don't really care for, you want "yours" rather than a strange one." She replies with a grin before she blinks as Suzuki comments on her shopping habbit, her eyes glazing over a bit as she slumps forward and sweatdrops in a defeated pose. "Y..Yes sensei. I'm sorry for my transgression." She replies pitifully - after all, she had asked for Suzuki to teach her in the ways of better cooking, so she had to appologize for her mistake of chosing an inferior shopping location. Still, Suzuki seems.. moderately pleased enough, so the two return to the corner store to buy food for the evening. Once that's done, Mari just smiles and winks at Suzuki. "See you tomorrow afternoon? We can go shopping for real then, okay?" She asks before she winks. "For now though, I'll walk you home~" She replies, before she leans into Suzuki and begins walking the taller girl home through the streets, to return to her own home once she sees Suzuki safely home.
