Through the Looking Glass
Date of Scene:	01 January 2017
Location:	Cross Mirror Room
Synopsis:	The thoughts of the old year and events which are in motion cause Naomi to pay a visit to the Cross Mirror room and Blue. Sakura gets to meet the Guardian god and manages make Blue sad!

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Its a quiet New Years Eve for the young Naomi Yomada. She is quietly sitting in her room while the rest of her family is having a grand time. Her moms are out enjoying some Sake and just having some fun. While Naomi did have that thing going for her, where she was helping out to set up the fireworks display, It turns out they don't let kids set off the big display much to Naomi's disappointment. So here she sat, letting the events of this year fill her mind.

The big thing weighing on her mind is her life as a Precure. A year ago this wasn't a thing. A year ago the only thing that truly mattered to her was taking things apart, putting them together and hoping they didn't explore. Now her world revolves around protecting those she loves. Not that that is a bad thing. The big question is, How is she going to do it? How is she going to fight against the general she called out who got a heathly dose of dark energy last time? its a painful question really.

So quietly she sits there, pondering.

Sitting there with her is Lilac. She happens to have the Precard Decor out and is looking over things. She looks up at Naomi and speaks, "Naomi-chan? You know Sakura is supposed to come visit right? You should be out with your family."

Naomi looks at the fairy and frowns, "Its not like I can talk to them about whats on my mind. I can't exactly go, "Oh I'm a Pretty Cure and I just endanged my life, The lives of my friends and potentially caused more then a little chaos along the way."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto was pretty much skipping, because she was Sakura. Sure, she'd spent the last few days being horribly depressed and crying into a pillow like, all the time. But none of them had to know that! Well, except daddy. And Kuro. And Toya. And Yukito. Yukito... <3.

But ,either way, she was bouncing back now and feeling pretty good. Tomorrow she started her job! She was going to be the BEST general employee that Haruna EVER had. Possibly because that pool was still pretty small.

She stopped outside the door and took a slow, deep breath, before reaching up and knocking gently on the door. She was even wearing an adorable little pink kimono. That had bunnies across it, and a few cherry blossoms. And it was just her this time, no Kero or Tomoyo. Because Tomoyo had family obligations.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
The door opens and one of Naomi's moms greets Sakura and directs her back to Naomi's room. Her mom knocks on the door and speaks up, "Naomi-chan, Your friend is here? Are you going to stay in there all night?"

The door opens and there is Naomi wearing a happy new year sash and a silly looking top hat. "Hi Sakura. Come on in." She smiles to her mom. "I will be out later. I just am thinking about stuff. Her mom smiles and nods before vanishing from sight. Sakura closes the door and smiles to Sakura. "Hey thanks for coming."

Naomi gives a soft sigh. "Sorry I've been really quiet. I Just have been thinking about stuff. I have been thinking about how I'm going to handle the mess I got myself in." Then she Hmmmms. "Well. I know what we can do for now."

Quietly she walks over to the fancy full length mirror and taps on it a few times. "Blue-Sama? Are you there?"

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, walking inside and giving her mom a wave. "H-hi," she said shyly, before being herded, more or less, into Naomi's room. She looked around for a few moments, trying to pick up on all the little things. Wow. Naomi's room was soooo cool. It had grown up things. At least, she assumed it did.

Okay Sakura wasn't sure what to do in this situation, so she kind of sat on the bed, looking around. Then... "Wait, Blue-sama? Ohhhh. Is that your magic guy you told me about? He's coming, here? Is your mommy--" She choked a little on that. "--o-okay with that?"

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada looks at Sakura, "No if he is around, We are going to visit him." She smirks in a playful manner.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Most Pretty Cures make sure to obtain a full length mirror if they don't already have one. Or a standing full mirror. Or any mirror big enough to walk through or leap through easily. Basically.

They are portals to them.

The mirror glows a brilliant blue for a moment before Blue-sama himself- or his image, phases into existence. Blue is a man that appears to be in his younger twenties. He is slender, has blue hair in a short cut and wears a white button up shirt and blue pants. He has a relaxed, friendly posture- and a smile.

"Hello Naomi-chan." he says softly. He looks over to Sakura and smiles. "Hello. I don't belive we've met. Are you one of Naomi's friends?" he asks softly. "I am Blue. I'm a guardian god of Earth. It's nice to meet you." a pause.

"Is everything okay?" he asks with a concern in his voice.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto glanced to the mirror and then stared. Her eyes went wide and sparkly. Her lil fists formed under her chin and she stared.

Oh my gosh he was so nice. He was like, Yukito nice. This was the kind of person who would make you cup cakes and even if you didn't know him you'd still eat them because you knew nothing bad would be in them. Or who you'd tell your parents you were going over to see and they'd never even worry. Or you'd call when you had a little cold and were feeling down and needed someone nice to cheer you up.

So like... 80% yukito. Which was a high yukito threshold. "H-h-hello," she said breathlessly. "I-I'm... S-Sakura..." she said with big, wide eyes. "I'm a student at seishou elementary. A-and... and the card captor."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada looks at Blue and shrugs, "Honestly I don't know if things are okay. I just need to talk. Mind if we drop in on you?" She asks and then glances over at Sakura. Yeah she was this excited before too but now its just another day for her.

She glances at Sakura again. "Well? Wanna just stand there and check him out or do you want to go visit?" She asks with a grin. She extends a hand to her. Lilac quickly gets ready to go along too.

The little fairy looks at Blue and frowns, "I'm sorry Blue-sama. I've been trying to help Naomi-chan but I can't help her with this. I wish I could but its not something I know about."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Blue smiles at Sakura. "Well it's nice to meet you Sakura-chan." he says as she looks back at Naomi. He has a hunch he knows what it's about. This does cause him to frown just a moment- and his frown is more of a neutral straight face given how much he wears a smile as much as he can. He nods. "Go ahead." he says as he steps back away from the mirror. The mirror becoming a stark blue portal to allow the two to pass through.

When they pass through- they find themselves in the Cross Mirror Room. The Cross Mirror Room is a bright blue expanse with a circle of collums surrounding a small pedestal seat of sorts. On the pedestal sits a tiny small chest with a gold lock. It's always there and innocous.

Mirrors that seem hexagonal on thier edges float along the corners of the room between the pillars.

There doesn't seem to be any walls. Just an expanse beyond the pillars and some sort of mist. He has a seat on the pedestal. There's plenty of room for the other two.

"What did you want to talk about?" he asks as he regards Lilac with a gentle nod.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, taking Naomi's hand and letting the older girl direct her inside. And then, once they're inside, her eyes go even wider!

She almost says something, buuuut... instead kind of just nervously stands there, a little red in her cheeks, watching blue. This was for naomi, not her, so she followed along for now. Keeping her mouth shut and looking around. Walking around and looking at all the mirrors, then... what was the little box? It was so cute, she reached for it... then pulled back. Then reached... no, down vial temptress! Well, maybe a... She did tape the top, then pulled her hand away and quickly left it alone. Gahhhhh. It would be so rude to open it to peep inside. Without permission.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada looks at Blue a little flustered. Quietly she moves over to the small seating area and gets comfortable in one of the seats. "Well. I know its a mess but. Its about the mess I got myself into." She quietly watches Sakura as she is exploring the Axia.

She frowns and just goes back to the topic at hand. "Blue-sama, I had Oresky. I hit him with my strongest attack. He was on his way to being purified and then something dark hit him. It was so dark I could feel. It undid everything I had just done to him. If I can't use ball lightning on him... I have no idea what to do! I mean I dunno if I am strong enough." She frowns.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Blue gently places his hands over the box when Sakura begins curiously poking it. "Ah. Please don't touch that. It's. The Axia. It's an important artifact." he says politely. "And dangerous." he says softly.

He looks over to Naomi and listens, hands politely against his lap. He waits until Naomi is done speaking to talk.

"The Generals of the Phantom Empire are powerful, Naomi. Oresky is possibly the most powerful General. Phantom- well. He's kind of dangerous on a whole other level. There's others. You know. Around the world. But they keep to thier own areas." he says.

He thinks a bit. "So you had almost purified him. But. Something made Oresky reassert himself?" he asks curiously.

"How did it.. feel?" he asks.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto eeps, nodding quickly. "O-okay... Blue-sempai..." she said softly, a little breathy and flushed. She then quickly moved to sit in one of the seats, gently sitting down and watching for now. Her eyes lit up.

Naomi was already beating up their strongest generals? she was so strong!

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada looks at Blue and takes a deep breath. She watches Sakura and blushes a little. "Yeah I think that box could cause a lot of trouble. Or umm. Has." She nervously laughs.

Then its back to the conversation at hand. She looks at Blue. "No. Blue-sama I had him. Gull-chan was there too. She seen it. I had him in it. He was being purified. Then this black energy hit him and he completely recharged and was able to repel my attack. Blue-Sama He repelled The strongest attack I have."

She goes quiet. That last question hits her. She didnt' want to remember it. She wanted to forget. "YOu know how it feels when you are walking through an area without any light? Where its all dark and your senses sharpen because you can't see. All you have is your other feelings and a mounting dread that there is something there that shouldn't be? Thats how it fealt."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Blue frowns. "Darkness like that comes from powerful dark places. It was most likely a charge from Queen Mirage herself." he says. "She doesn't like the idea of loosing anyone, I don't think." he says softly.

He sighs a bit and shakes his head. "But more importantly, if she's helping directly then that's a bigger problem. Usually she doesn't act directly like that." he says.

"So it wouldn't surprise me that-- you were 'outclassed' as it were. When she entered the picture. Mirage is... powerful. To say the least." he says frankly.

He seems to be caught in thought a moment.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, pretending she had any idea what so ever was going on.

So of course, after a bit... "Maybe she's just really lonely? I mean, if she's scared to lose all the people around her? Maybe?" she offered, poking her fingers together and hoping they don't get mad at her for making suggestions oh gosh they were both so awesome and cool and she was in the same room as them eeeeee be cook Sakura, be cool! They said you could be here so it's okay EEEEEEE!

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada looks at Blue and frowns, "Queen Mirage?!" She rubs her head. "Are you kidding me!?" She frowns a little. "So basically in calling out Oresky I likely peed in her cheerios. I know I've annoyed them. Earlier this week, Gull-chan and I were helping set up for new years and Hosshiwa showed up with TWO Terribads. Not just one! We took them out but, I think they are going to play dirty."

She sighs and rubs her head a little."It was bad when I thought I was just facing Oresky and his dishonorable style of fighting. If I've drawn the anger of Queen Mirage, We are going to need more then just me there. I am willing to bed Phantom will make an appearance. "

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Blue frowns. "Phantom is strong, Naomi." he says. "If he appears, your first priority should be getting away. Fighting him is a last resort. I can..maybe count the number of Pretty Cures that have fought Phantom- and haven't dissapeared on one hand." he says quietly. "...and they weren't alone when they fought him.."

He looks to Sakura however, when he speaks and then he goes dead quiet. There's a change in his expression. Like Sakura just... hit something deep and down with that statement. Not quite a stab in the heart but... something.

"Yes. Maybe that's it." he says quietly.

There is suddenly awkward silence.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked, staring at him. Her eyes lowered. "I-I'm sorry... I'll keep quiet, I-I don't really know anything about any of this..." She hugged herself and kind of... shrunk in the chair.

She didn't know what she said, but it was the wrong thing. Though... "If... you wanted... Naomi, i-I could... help you. If you like... I-I mean..."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada frowns, "Oresky has proven that he will do anything to be the best. This includes playing dirty." She thinks a little. "Maybe its time to use that knowledge and counter it."

Her gaze shifts to Sakura and she smiles. "It is up to you. I will not force this fight on you. Its dangerous and Phantom is a force to be reckoned with. Its why I'm scared to face him."

She looks at Blue again. "Okay he will come with backup. I am willing to bet Hosshiwa, Namakelder and possibly Phantom. They are probably going to have a bunch of Kindabads with them and possibly multiple Terribads. I guess... I am going to need my friends. I can't fight an army alone."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Blue does smile just a bit at Sakura's offer to help. But then she talks. "Phantom., well. He takes people away Sakura. Then. They aren't seen again." he says quietly. "The place he takes them to is called 'The Pretty Cure Graveyard' for a reason." he says. "I'm not. Trying to scare you. But if you're intent to help. You need to know... what you're getting into. It'd be wrong to tell you otherwise." he says.

He then looks to Naomi. He nods, and then with a wry smirk. "There's nothing in the Cure's code of conduct that says you can't fight evil a little dirtly." he offers. "Just. You know. Within Reason. Setting a trap. Could work." he offers.

He pauses. "Did you... obtain a new form card?" he asks curiously.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded for a moment, her eyes going low. "I don't care. Naomi told me about that and... and I'd rather fight besides her than ever, ever having to imagine her fighting alone. I... I know she'll always be there for me. So I have to be there for her. No matter what," she puts on her adorable determined face. "A-and I'm not scared of any... any grave yard! We... we can go there a-and get all the magical girls out of it! H-however he's trapping them!"

"A-and my magic is getting a lot stronger! I have almost half the cards now! I'll help up beat up any bad people who attack my friends! A-and then I'll make them not bad anymore! Like I did with Mara-chan!"

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada smiles a little at Sakura's excitement. "Ummmm. Blue-sama? Can we see The Grave yard from here?" SHe asks. "I've never seen it. I only heard rumors about it." She frowns. Then she sighs.

"Anyhoo. I think I am going to talk to some friends. Some who aren't Precures. Get them ready to fight just in case. Have them possitioned at different areas maybe?" She hmms, "What kind of trap do you think would be good?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa frowns at Naomi. "It's not a good idea. For me to open a live portal there. But. There are images. I can show you." he says. He turns to one of the bigger mirrors and waves his hand.

The mirror flashes with the images of the Pretty Cure Graveyard. They come from the only time he's seen it for himself directly. When Gull and Miss White went there to save Aki with a bunch of friends.

Basically, this seems to be Cure Victory and Gull, Miss White, Platnium Royale, Sailor Mercury, Suzuki Natsume, Mikoto and Vespa Rayne fight a desperate battle with what /appears/ to be some girl in a dark black princess gown with black hair- with raven feathers and red eyes and a shadowy raven companion. She looks a little like Haruna in a few ways. He lets this run a bit. But not long. (If this was an Anime, it's like showing clips from: http://www.mahoumush.com/590/Save_the_Sister...)

"The girl there is Phantom." he says. "He.. reached into Cure Gull with some sort of shadows and took the 'Other side' of her mirror. Scorn." he says. "Keep in mind he's able to do that. Reach into you. Pull out what you fear most. Become it." he says softly.

He turns to Naomi and Sakura. "Well you have one friend here already." he smiles a bit. "But. Go for a wide open area but with..cover. The Stadium in Mitakihara might be good for that. I bet Oresky would be all over that-- a stage or place to show off." he offers. "--or a place where you know he'd be at a disadvantage."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, looking down and then... stared at them. "Are... they dead?" she asked softly. With confirmation that they weren't, however...

"Can you open a portal there? If... if we can, we should go there! A whole bunch of us! And free a bunch of the girls! I mean, he's just one person, right? Or we could lure him away while others do it! And free a bunch of the girls! Imean, strength in numbers, right?" Ahhhhh, the naivity of youth.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada looks at that and just begins tearing up. She is right there with Sakura. She wants to go there. She wants to go rescue those precures. "Oh my gods." She winces and just hangs her head. "He is going to pay for this." She frowns.

"Okay. The park is wide open. The trees can supply cover but, there is just too much in the way of potential civilian interferance. Setting this up in a Stadium.... That would definitely stroke Oresky's ego. He'd be all over it. There is not much cover there though. But... he might get a sadistic thrill out of getting people to watch. Or try to fill the stands with kindabads."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Blue frowns at Sakura. "It isn't that easy Sakura-chan." he says sternly. "Aki was only able to be pulled from her prison because she means a /lot/ to Haruna. It broke her, to have her taken away." he says. "If you don't have that tie... there's nothing for you to grasp and save." he says.

He looks to Naomi. "You can probably expect Kindabads and lots of them." he frowns a bit.

"It makes me sad too." he says indeed a little sorrowful.

"But. If you want thoughts. About this. Ask others too. And as much as I-- don't approve of her." he says. "If fighting dirty is what you want to do- you can talk to Miss White. Or convience Gull to beg her to join in. Either will work I think." he says a little wryly.

"You may consider talking to Virture too, for support." a pause. "Virtue is. A group of liked minded people- who wish to do good. I am loosely affiliated. In a way. If you wish to talk with them... you'll want to contact Tadase Hotori of The Guardians in Seiyou Public School." he offers.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, then went silent for a few moments, lowering her eyes. "So... we can't... help them?" she asked softly. "That's so horrible... all those poor girls...." She then paused.

"Ummm... I know... Miss White," she said softly. "I...." She poked her fingers together. "I-I could... try getting her to help. I... think she'd help me," she said sheepishly. "Probably. S-she's pretty fond of me... I think. She saved my life."

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada smiles to Sakura, "I know her as well. She's a friend. A good one too. Haruna and Miss White have both been a big help to me." She smiles a little and looks again a the mirror image of the graveyard. "We have to start combatting the Phantom Empire in different ways. Hope has got to be one of the biggest."

She looks at Blue and nods, "I've met Tadase-san. He and Amu-san seem very nice. I think meeting with them though wouldn't be the worst of ideas. Getting Virtue involved would ease the stress on the hand full of Precures I know."

She smiles then in a mischievous manner. "I think I am ready for the kindabads though. I did get a new form card!" She smiles, "Time to Change!"

Everythings red and pink as she loads the form cards into her mirror. "Pretty Cure! Rolling Mirror Change!" Immediately her clothing changes becoming an old style scoop neck top done up in strawberry red. She is suddenly wearing a poodle style skirt, covered in strawberries and of course the Pretty cure logo on the bottom. She is wearing dancing shoes as well. Her hair becomes brighter and in a pony tail. The sound of a jazz horn begins playin. Strawberry Swing!" She quickly poses and the colors fade. "I think its growing on me!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Blue looks at Naomi and he smiles a bit. "Ah. So you did obtain a new form card." he says. "That's good. Not every Cure finds them. Someone will only find one. Some two." he says. "I know Haruna only has the one- because I gave it to her. I gave her a few cards. Because at the time she didn't have a companion yet and Corvus was still in full mope mode over all that happened." he says. "And also still a raven."

He nods at Naomi. "Talk to Virtue then. If Tadase can't talk to you- he most certainly can point you to someone who can." he says softly.

He smiles over to Sakura and then looks to Naomi. "How about some tea?" he asks.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto gasped, her fists going to her chin, her eyes glimmering and she. Stared.

Then came the high pitched squeak of adoration as she stared, wiggling in place. "Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gooooooosh! Y-you look so cool and awesome and cool!" she shrieked, swaying in place with excitement. "You got a new card and everything and you're all red aand there's jazz music and oh my gosh Naomi-sensai You're the absolute coolest!"

if she was a pretty cute, she'd be pretty cute easily impressed.

Naomi Yomada has posed:
Naomi Yomada blushes brightly. Almost as bright as her outfit. "I haven't used it in combat yet but It feels like so much fun. Just the sound of the music gets m e wanting to dance!" She begins dancing in place without even realizing it. "I just got it this week. Thats my second dance form. I am excited about it."

She looks over at Sakura. "This is a lot of fun. I like the look. Even if it feels like something my moms would wear."

She smiles bright. "Oh umm. Sure. Thank you, Blue-sama. I would love some tea. After this is done though we will have to get back because midnight is sneaking up on us!" She smiles and takes a seat. "Happy New Year Blue-sama, Sakura-chan."
