Synopsis:	Norie-K and Jiaying talk about Norie's other self. Mainly, that Norie doesn't think there ever was one.

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K, that is, Norie in Kukai's body has finally sent a text that it's okay for Jiaying to come to the manor finally. He's been a little worried overall, about things. Like everything. He's done a good job of not completely ruining Kukai's life and even potentially made a problem better.

He imagines what's going to happen when he gets back into his own body. He's been worried about that. Which is why he's called Jiaying over to finally talk about things.

He's sitting on a table in the Vestibule and he's reading a manga, that seems to be one of those comedy slice of life things.

"Hehehehhee..." he giggles just light under his breath.

It's the little things right now.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki didn't waste too much time getting to the manor, beyond making sure her bag was packed with useful things and she actually remembered shoes this time. Stepping through the manor door, she stops at the entrance and says something to herself quietly in Chinese. Shutting the door with her heel, she slips her shoes free, then pads quietly through the house.

Spotting Korie at the table, which is what she's dubbing them in her head, she settles down on the opposite chair, rests her hand on her chin and says, "That's a creepy sound from you I think." Though it's said in a clearly teasing manner.

"So on a scale of one to wha- ... ten, just how awkward is it?"

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K seems to enjoy the managa he's reading. He then blinks and looks up. "Oh. Jia-chan." he says as she closes it and puts it besides him. "Well I can laugh! and giggle! and feel things!" he says. "So I've been re-reading my favorite series as much as I can and catching up on the stuff that's come out since so I can enjoy it before I go back." she says.

She head tilts. "Awkward? Not really. I've just been pretending to be Kukai and not screw his life up. Doing good so far. I think I actually fixed a problem for him? Or made it easier." he says.

He says. "I've been thinking about stuff though because eventually I need to go back in my own body, right...?" he asks a little more seriously.

"I kind of need people there. So trying to touch people ahead of time about it... because I dunno what's going to happen. Part of me hopes It'll be just like riding a bike?" she admits. "As morbid as that sounds.."

"But I could also lunge at Kukai screaming like 'give the body back!' or something. Or maybe I'll just collapse in a heap and begin crying until I'm covered in the ichor that leaks out of my eyes. I figure, I'll need someone there regardless, just in case." she says.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki reaches into her bag as Norie talks, scooping a pair of stuffed mochi from her bag and nibbling at the sides. "This is what you were like before when you were split. Wish I had a video camera that could record more than a few seconds so I had proof this time." She shrugs, taking a bigger bite of the mochi.

The mention of fixing a Kukai problem almost gets a joke from the fox, then she stops. Then she starts again, then she stops. Each time both her ears perk and she raises a finger before dropping them again. "That's good." she finally says.

The question gets a nod from Jia, "You probably should. It's not fair or right to have to go back, but it wasn't..." She shrugs. "While you're not being supressed by the other you, I would want to maybe do some research with you. Maybe we can figure out a way to let you feel things at least."

Then there's the mention of screaminga bout getting her body back. "I'll be there. I can do that much for you." She's not sure what else she could do. Would any of the charms she knows and can reliably perform restrain her without hurting her?

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K shakes his head. "I've written myself a letter I put in the safe. That'll be enough." he says. He watches the mochi being taken out, but he doesn't ask if there's one for him. Then Jiaying goes on to the 'other her'.

"Jia-chan...." he says. "There is no 'other me'."

"What you perceive to be 'another me'..." he says. "That's just what darkness does to you. It infests and it changes and it makes you hear things and whispers to you and it finds positive things abhorrent so it blocks them." she says. "It takes my form because it's attached to me. But it's everything bad about me and that's all. That's what 'Lacrima' is because it brings it out in front."

"The only thing that could be anything close to 'another me' would be those memories of Poderoso and even that's just... memories." he says.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki twirls her finger and says, "Then how did she lock you in the mental thingy and you stayed you know, not locked in a mental thingy?" She stops and mutters, "I should really learn what that's called, but that's more effort- never heard of any of us having that kind of what, psychic power?" She shakes her head sharply. "Whatever." She finally just says flatly.

The bag is set on the table, facing Norie so she can get a treat out if she wants. Mostly because she wasn't sure if non-horrible-food-vampire would even like the stuff she has, but she can tell what that look was.

She leans back in her chair, arms crossed. "Do you know how to even change back?"

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K head tilts. "Do you mean the split?" he asks.

"That Ayana-chan did?" he says.

He searches his head. It's easier to think like this. That much is sure. "Imagine a Yen coin." he says. "It has two sides. One side is Norie. The other side is Lacrima. But they're both the same coin because they come from the same place." he says.

"It's possible to split the coin down the middle, and separate the two." he says. "But then you have a damaged, and worthless yen coin." he says. "And the only way to no longer make it two faced, would be to melt down the coin, which would destroy it." he says.

"I think that's the best way of describing the two." he says.

"What you know as.. 'Lacrima', isn't some spirit. It's just all my bad, unpositive things given shape and a name by the power, because that power knew I wouldn't it enjoy the situation. And I still don't." she says. "But it wanted a body. It had to get out of necklace it'd been trapped in. I was just the unlucky one to put it on." he shrugs.

"Darkness is just overpowering. And strong, Jia-chan. But... did you know... what happened? Before the switch?" he asks.

"...I met Eilam-kun. Because I was worried." he says. He looks down at his hand reflexively. The ring isn't there. He sulks.

"--and I asked... do I make you happy?"

"But it took a lot... of. Something to say that. And when I asked it felt like... I assaulted myself with positive energy. But I did it. I /asked/." he says.

Then a blush. "Right. I should be. Forward to you. About my relationship there." he says.

"Eilam-kun, is.. not quite. A boyfriend. He is.. boyfriend. In waiting." she says. "Because.."

"In that body. I do not die. I am immortal. He is immortal. We are comfortable with one another. And he cares for me a lot. Natsumi-chan...." she says quietly. "I may not age. What if I'm still looking like I'm thirteen while she's thirty? And eventually. She's going to die. She's mortal." he says.

"Eilam-kun wants me to concentrate on Natsumi-chan. While I can. He can wait. He told me he's going to wait." he says.

"I just want you to understand, why I'm wearing the ring he gave me. Well. When I'm back in my own body. Because it's a promise to me. And why I'm probably gonna act. Odd. Around him. Probably." he says.

"...and yes. Natsumi-chan knows and understands. She doesn't want me to be alone if.. if she's gone." he says with a shift.

"Sorry if that's confusing to you..."

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki shakes her head and says, "I've been out of the loop. I don't wander around as much because I'm tired of being lit on fire and since you've gone I don't get many calls or anything either." She shrugs and twirls her finger. "I haven't found what I was looking for out here anyway." She doesn't expand on that though.

In regards to Eilam, she shrugs. "He wanted to meet my mother at some point for the same reason. I almost wonder what he looks like on the spirit side of things." As for the confusing part, she shrugs again. "It's your life, as you've noted Norie, I'm not going to step in your way there." She chews her lip and continues, "And you've made it clear that I'm meddling too, so I'll be stepping away from the digging I've been doing."

"And yes, I did mean what that one did." There's a moment of thought then she says flatly, "You said there was an entity in the necklace that wants a body, but there's not two yous by the way." She sighs, slumps forward and rests her head on her arms.

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K shakes her head. "You can dig, I mean. There's still that.. whole pull to Spain. That I still feel. Even now. And I'm wondering why that's important but even having a clear head isn't helping me with that." he says.

He shrugs. "You probably shouldn't listen to things I say and take them at face value when I'm in that body. I said I /feel/ like there was an entity. When I think back. It feels less like that." he says.

"I'm able to stand outside and look in a little?" he says sheepishly.

"And besides. I'm using the chance to feel things I haven't before, so when I get back into my body, I finally have a baseline for things I hadn't felt before. Which should reduce my irrationality a lot." he smiles.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki shrugs, "I haven't found what I wanted out here and I haven't found what you wanted about Spain." She doesn't lift her head as she continues, "And you've gotten frustrated every time I try to pry in other directions, or you've insisted otherwise from waht I've seen. Either it's gaslighting or I'm just not able to find anything."

At the mention of not taking anything at face value in the other body, she says, "You said the other entity might not be so bad and that it might just want a body, or that it might be scared." She bristles briefly, then shakes her head, "Nevermind Eilam, I wonder what you'd look like on the other side."

Eventually she sits up and leans back in the chair. "You've felt those things before, just not recently. I should find Kukai and ask him so I have a better.." she considers her words then shrugs, "A better baseline."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K frowns. "I'm scared. I wanted a new body." he says. "Does that explain it better to you?" he asks.

He shakes his head. "You should ignore what I say along those lines when I'm in my own body because someone like that believes they're beyond help and don't want it." he says.

He nods matter of factly. "Talk to Kukai-kun. He'll know how this feels, but he's acting a lot how I used to when I first started out which means loud and hateful and irrational." he says with a deep breath.

"So don't push him too far. It'd be better to wait until he's in his own body, admittedly."

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki rubs the bridge of her nose and shakes her head, "Like I said, you spin and twist whenever I press in any direction there, which is why I'm stopping." She then shrugs, not mentioning that Norie is still arguing the same thing, even without the body's interference. "I can't fix it, it doesn't do any of us any good to keep digging, so I'm stopping. Whatever reasons are just that."

The mention that he's acting similar gets a nod from Jia, "Yeah? Has he attacked anyone yet or should I be keeping my ears perked in case of an attack?" She scowls, "Because you've mentioned what you do when you starve yourself or burn too much."

Then the mention of waiting. She holds up a finger and starts to say something. Then stops and shrugs.

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K frowns and shrugs. "Nothing I can do about that when I'm in my own body. Sorry." she says.

He sighs a bit and shakes his head. "No. I made it clear he isn't to starve himself and I understand his friends have been letting him feed from him. I know Naru-chan offered and he accepted." he says.

"But you should find him if you want to know for yourself. Watch out. He's kinda an ass right now." he says wryly.

"Guess I can see why I lost all my friends." he says glumly. "When I got that body." he says collapsing deeper into the couch.

Jiaying Maki has posed:
Jiaying Maki nods and leans back, closing her eyes. "Right."

"So he won't go nuts hopefully, right?" She tilts her head and asks, "What about the little one. Uh..." She scowls, "I can't remember the name." She holds her fingers up and tries to mimic a flying fairy thing.

"I might go looking for him later. I only really know him from Sora, before that I'd only met him maybe twice."

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K winces. "Daichi. He's still attached to Kukai. He isn't doing too well. That body doesn't have a 'heart' for a 'heart's egg' so... he's kinda. fading. And is only being kept alive by Kukai's feeding I think. Which is good." he says.

"Ugh...I've been avoiding Sora. She might not believe what's happened and also I don't wanna get punched in the face on sight." he says sheepishly.
