Synopsis: Just after school, Ikuto comes across Mara playing her guitar. They talk a little over threats to each other's soul.
Cast of Characters: Ikuto Tsukiyomi, Mara Brando

Mara Brando has posed:
School had just ended, and there are students hanging around the school mostly to just hang out, then some are going to their respective rooms for their clubs. There are some students starting to go home as they are more of the anti-social type, maybe, or they just have better things to do than hang out at school.

On the second floor, the sound of an electric guitar can be heard ringing about the halls, then close to a couple of the stair wells along the first and third floors. Someone was playing a guitar in one of the class rooms on the second floor, and whoever it is, they are doing pretty good for the most part. There are a few people gathered in the room, but only to hear the individual play. Not many people seem to care due to this person's reputation to be cold to her classmates.

Mara Brando, the girl playing the guitar, and a specific guitar piece from AC/DC. She had borrowed an amp from the school so that she can play for the heck of it to show off for the most part. She is currently sitting atop of the amp.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
School's back in session, so it's back to the grind for students. And despite his association with Easter--and the Director's new rules--Ikuto had to go to school too. Fortunately though, it's Friday, and they only have half a day of school tomorrow. So maybe he can catch up on some sleep.

Fat chance of that... but it's a nice thought anyway.

He's heading down the stairs, part of the Go-Home Club himself. It's worthy to note that he is both anti-social AND has better things to do than hang around at school when it's done. He happens to catch the sound of an electric guitar, though! Interesting. He pauses to listen, and then follows the sound.

Ikuto finds the room, but he doesn't enter. He just leans against the doorframe and watches, crossing his arms over his chest. He might even know the song. But it's hard to tell, given as his expression doesn't betray anything.

Mara Brando has posed:
Mara finishes the song, and opens her eyes as she was only focusing on the music. She didn't really notice anyone enter the room as she was engrossed on the music only. She stares at a couple of other students that lightly clap.

Mara lets out a soft sigh, then glances over to Ikuto who is framed in the doorway. "Stand there too long, you might find the key to your soul..." She gives him a wicked grin, and it truly is a bit on the wicked side, enough to send chills down an average person's spine.

After a few moments, Mara begins to play, A Touch of Evil by Judas Priest... She is obviously a metal-head.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Her words are a bit ironic, given Ikuto's particular henshin device. The key is not in view at the moment, either, tucked safely away in his shirt. But Ikuto is not the average person. He's not the type to be scared by a creepy smile. In fact.. he just gives a creepy smile right back in return.

"...To find a key to something it has to exist," he says, just before she starts to play again. He quiets then, and shifts to step into the room proper. Only to lean against the wall just inside the door to listen.

Mara Brando has posed:
Mara grins to Ikuto's words, and while playing, she responds without missing a note, "Of course, there is always a key to someone's soul..." Her blue eyes stay locked onto him, no expression as she plays on the guitar.

To everyone's surprise, a string breaks on the guitar, and it lashes up to put a small cut on Mara's cheek. She doesn't flinch, but she does let out a soft sigh. She stops playing and stands up to walk over to her case to pull out a box of assorted strings. The guitar case is sitting on a desk in the front row. "Hmm... That hasn't happened in a while.." She seems calm at the moment, not fully turning away from Ikuto at all. "So... What kind of music does everyone like? Tell me."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
"No. The thing you want a key to has to exist," Ikuto clarifies. Indicating that he doesn't actually have a soul. Some days it feels like he doesn't. It'd be lots easier if he didn't, that's for sure. Maybe one day he'll get there. Keep working for Easter and they'll rot his soul out, most likely.

Ikuto doesn't flinch when the string on the guitar breaks. He's had that happen on his voilin a couple times. Though it's usually the bow, not the actual strings. Still hurts though. But he doesn't cknowledge it verbally. As for what kind of music he likes? "Any kind, really."

Mara Brando has posed:
Mara doesn't take too long to replace the string, and she even slowly tunes it in by striking the string with the pick, hitting the string above and below it as well, getting the tone somewhere in the middle. She has played enough to recognize what sound that string is supposed to make. "Of course it has to exist, and everyone has a soul.. It could be in them, it could be out of them, they could have already given it some some deity and are walking around as husks with a personality... It could be anything. Heck... I'm sure there are people who have had their soul ripped from their body and eaten.." She sounds pretty serious

Mara goes back to playing her guitar, but starts on something she put together. It has a nice rhythm to it, and just holds a nice, steady beat. "Mostly metal, but I like some other music, but it has to be just right..."

Mara Brando has posed:
Some of the students start to leave once Mara starts to sound a little... strange..

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
"...Maybe." That's what Ikuto has to say in response to Mara's talk of souls. He's actually heard about stuff like that! It sucks, it really does! But he can't afford to really care. He's got his own problems.

He stays quiet as Mara puts the string onto the guitar again. And when she starts to talk about her favorite kind of music, he nods. "...Guess everyone has their favorite type."

Mara Brando has posed:
Mara continues to play the guitar for a bit longer before she just stops. Everyone else has left, leaving her and Ikuto, and with that, she walks over to her case to set the guitar into the case after disconnecting the amp. "Maybe? No, it is likely true. The supernatural does exist." She closes the case, then picks it up before walking to her desk in the back row.

Mara moves to sit down at her desk, pulling out a couple of things, not really seeming to care much about Ikuto's presence at the moment.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto tilts his head when Mara confirms the existence of the supernatural. "...You're pretty open with information," he observes. "I don't think normal people are supposed to know that."

To be fair, he's a pretty quiet guy, so he's easy to overlook the presence of. he seems like the type that knows how to fly under the radar, so to speak, and stay unseen.

Mara Brando has posed:
Mara blinks a couple of times, "What, you actually believe me on that stuff?" She grins again, "Anyways.." She stuffs her homework into her bag, "I should probably get going. I got homework that needs to get done."

Mara finally gets up from her desk, throwing her bag's strap over her shoulder, then grabs the handle of her guitar case. "I didn't think say stuff like that was giving away information.. People either believe that stuff, or they don't.."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto sends Mara a look when she reveals she was tesing. Though the corner of his mouth does lift a bit, in a smirk. She mentions she needs to get homework done, and he gives an affirmative grunt. "I have work this afternoon," he admits. As for that being giving away information? "Much more than that might be."

He seems pretty normal himself. Nothing overtly magical about him, and he doesn't seem to have any kind of abilities, if magical senses are involved.

...Then again, if Yoru was here, that might be different. But... Yoru doesn't like school, so he doesn't hang around while Ikuto's in school, so...

Mara Brando has posed:
Mara shrugs a little bit, "Well, I guess you better get to work.." She looks to Ikuto for a moment before she goes to walk towards the exit at the back of the room. "You don't want to be late.."

Mara gives Ikuto a cold look for a moment before she leaves the room, slowly walking down the hall, not seeming to be in much of a hurry at all.
