Ikiko is the Animal Care Club member on site- and Ikuto follows because he's also worried about a dog! (Cats!? Caring about Dogs!? THAT'S THE REAL MIRACLE.)
Cast of Characters: Ikiko Hisakata, Ikuto Tsukiyomi, Daisuke Hansuke

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke was not in Seishou Public when he started today's adventure after school. He was on his way to his part-time job of the evening when there was a whimper of an approaching small shiba puppy. It had collar, and an adress- and was probably lost as there was no one around claiming to be an owner. Daisuke blinked once and leanded down to pick up the dog and examine it with a squint. Oh dear, it seemed to have had hurt it's leg a little bit! It didn't appear major. An abrasive, uncomfortable experience just tugged the fur away and the skin was violently red. He wasn't limping though.

Carrying the puppy he walked towards the school- knowing it also had an 'Animal Care Club'. They'd have what needed to make this better. He could do something else. But he didn't feel like absconding with a dog into an alleyway to magically heal it. ugh.

He peeks into the school. After hours. Still Club times. Was anyone even around? "Hello?" he calls down the Club hallway. "Where's your Animal Care Club room again?" he asks. Hopefully someone is there to answer and not holded up behind shut doors where he can't be heard!

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Seishou's Animal Care Club might not be the most organized, but they do keep an eye on their supplies. Today is a day for updating inventory, when the older students go out to purchase things they're low on. As one of their few elementary students that consistently attends the club, Ikiko is in the clubroom, taking inventory of their remaining supplies so the count could be properly updated once the older students return with their purchases.

The sound of a voice asking about the Animal Care Club, floating through the ajar door, catches her attention. "Over here!" she calls back, going over to the door and opening it up. Looking down the hall, she spots the older boy in the Verone Academy uniform, carrying a shiba puppy. "Oh, hi! Bringing your pet to visit the club?"

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
"I'm tellin' you, it was RIGHT HERE-nya!" This is from the place where Daisuke picked up the puppy. there is a young boy with blue hair, dressed in a Seiyou uniform. Besides him, floating at about eye level, is a tiny fairy creature of some kind, with cat ears, a cat's tail, and large hand- and foot-paws. The hair and fur is blue, like the boy he seems to be accompanying. "It was a puppy, limping. I dunno where it went-nya!" the Guardian Character insists.

Ikuto pauses, looking around. No puppy. He looks towards the school. "C'mon. We can ask at the school. Should still be someone there." It /is/ prime clubs time, after all. That said he heads for the school himself, Yoru following close behind him, and enters. Unless he's stopped. Then he'll plead inquiry about an injured animal. Completely true, after all.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke smiles at Ikiko. "Hello! No, actually this little uh....." he pauses a moment. Picks up dog higher, puts it down. "girl, was hurt. No owner around. Seemed lost. I figure that needs fixed before I go to that address and bring her home." he says. He slips into the room and peeks out the door and looks around. Huh. Is some else coming down the hallway? He dips into the room after Ikiko and puts the puppy down a desk. "Okkkay. Lemme see." he says.

"Do you got an animal first aid kit?" he asks. "Can you get me one?" he asks. "Sorry to ask! I'm assuming you do! I'll make sure to bring back some replacements later." the older boy insists.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"Sure!" Ikiko nods, going over to the appropriate cabinet. The first aid kit was next on her list of items to inventory; might as well wait until the puppy is taken care of before counting those supplies.

She hands the first aid kit over to Daisuke. "I take it you know what you're doing?" she asks, more for confirmation than any actual doubt. The fact that he asked for the animal first aid kit is a good sign, after all!

She goes over to the young shiba. "Don't worry, we'll help you get better," Ikiko murmurs quietly in caninespeak, petting the puppy. She glances towards Daisuke, just in case he happened to understand her barks.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
There is indeed someone else coming down the hallway. It's Ikuto, who obviously is not a student there. He finds his way to where Daisuke and Ikiko are from the sound of their talking. He kind of stick his head into the room, pauses, looks around. Sees the puppy. "Oh."

He steps into the room, though stays out of their way, leaning against the doorjam. Yoru appears as well, alighting on Ikuto's shoulder. "Someone told me about an injured puppy." He turns his head to the side a little, raising a brow at Yoru. Most people can't see Yoru, after all.

"Yup, that's the one-nya," Yoru confirms. he doesn't seem to bother keeping his voice down.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke opens it up on the next desk over- which gives Ikiko time to whisper to the dog. He doesn't seem to notice. He's pulling out some antibiotic wipes and a few q-tips and walks over and gets a cup of cold water. he seems to know what he seems to be doing. "Can you hold her? This might sting a moment." he murmurs. "I don't need her leaping off and away hurt like this." he smiles.

He then looks up and blinks. Huh?

He looks over to Ikuto and blinks. "Oh--- are you the dog's owner- she was h------"

He blinks slowly and squints.

Is... is that a tiny catboy? He actually stops what he's doing to squint for a moment. 'Okay, you know what. Sure. Why not. Floating tiny catboy. That's a thing. That's a thing now and he has to live with it forever.'.

He turns back to the dog, and begins to begin to carefully use a q-tip dipping it into water to clean the wound carefully.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata looks over as a voice she's heard a few times before speaks up over near the doorway. "Oh, it's you," she says flatly, her voice shrugging more than her shoulders. "This guy brought her in just a few moments ago." The catboy duo don't seem to be causing any trouble at the moment, so she can focus on more important things, like tending to the puppy.

"The guy who brought you here will help you get better, but it will sting slightly," she quietly explains to the puppy as she holds the shiba's shoulders. "Please don't run off; it will go faster if you wait."

The puppy turns its head and gives Ikiko's hands a lick. "Okay. Trust you," the puppy replies with a small bark.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto shakes his head. "No. Someone saw the dog and then came to get me. When we went back there, it was gone. I told him I'd come check the school," he explains. Completely true, and yet doesn't tell the whole story.

For his part, Yoru notices the squinting direct-at-him look. And in response he sort of slides down to hide behind Ikuto's shoulder a little, looking over the boy's uniformed shoulder with wide yellow eyes. "Ikutoooooo..." he hisses in a whisper. "I think he can see me-nya...!"

Ikuto looks to Yoru, then looks to Daisuke. A thoughtful look appears on his features. But he doesn't comment just yet, aside from a thoughtful, "Hmmm..." He nods to Ikiko's words, offering an affirmative grunt. "Good. I was concerned when I heard about a limping puppy." A cat? Concerned about a dog? Well, stranger things have happened.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke puts the Q-tip down then gives it a wipe with the antibiotic wipe. He does this with three clean wipes. That should take care of the angry red in a while. He begins to place a piece of soft gauze over it, and begins a small wrap. "Seems to just be a very bad scrape." he says. "She wasn't limping heavily. She'll be okay I think. Nrg....if I could---" oh right people around. He stops mid thought. He doesn't respond to Yoru. Maybe if he ignores a weird flying tiny catboy it'll go away!

"Okay. I think things will be okay! Oh- hey! Can you three." Three? Maybe he DOES see Yoru? "Take a step outside for a moment." he insists. "I'm going to try something to make this a little easier." he insists. This is an odd request! He seems sincere at least.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata looks at Daisuke, then looks over to Ikuto, glancing at Yoru in the process. She shrugs, patting the puppy as she considers the request. Daisuke seems sincere enough, and he /did/ tend to the puppy. But three? The only ones there were herself, the puppy, Daisuke, Ikuto... and Yoru.

Interesting.

"Thanks for checking up on the puppy," she says to Ikuto as she walks into the hallway. She might not fully trust the larger catboy, but people who help injured animals are worthy of respect in her book.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto raises an eyebrow at the request. But this other fellow seems to know what he's doing, so he has no reason to doubt him. Or to deny the request! So he nods. And yes, he did indeed take note of the mention of 'you three'. He's been meeting people more and more that seem capable of seeing Yoru. But he doesn't automatically think 'magical'. Sayaka wasn't, she said. But she could see him.

Anyway, he does follow Ikiko into the hallway, shutting the door behind him. He pauses a moment and asks, "...What do you think?"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke closes the door. Click.

Okay good. No one's coming back in for a moment. He turns back to the dog and raises his hand out- that ring turning into a silver staff-with a snake coiling up around it. He takes a deep breath. He did this once before. It's weird because he doesn't know what he's doing or how, but he's able to? Magic is weird.

"Just relax..." he offers to the dog as purple energy swirls around the staff. Thum. Thum. Thum. Little pulses of light around the dog. This goes on for a few minutes. You might see the light from under the edge of the bottom of the door. When he's done. The dog feels much better. That wound may aswell not exist- it was superfical.

He lets the staff take it's ring form again and unlocks the door and open it.

"Sorry, I don't like people watching when I give needles, yet." he insists. "Makes me antsy." he lies---- And you know. A shot. Not magic. Most certainly an antibiotic shot that was in the first aid kit. He begins cleaning up. Closing the kit back up.

"Want me to try to take her back home?" he asks to the three(?) others.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata glances towards the door. "His heart's in the right place," she muses to the catboys. "I think he's trustworthy, although it's kind of odd that he was able to see Yoru." A shrug. "Maybe it'll be important, maybe not."

When the door opens, she looks in towards the puppy. "Actually, if it's okay with you," she remarks, looking at the two older boys (and the little catboy), "I'll feed her a small meal first, then take her home." A bite to eat after some medical care wouldn't be amiss, right? Besides, that would give her a chance for a longer talk with the puppy -- make sure that she's okay, and ask how she's doing overall.

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto gives another thoughtful, "Mmn." Then he shifts to lean on the wall, and Yoru floats up next to his shoulder. "He's not the only one. I've met a few others."

"The girl with the light blue hair bought me sardines, though-nya!" Yoru declares. "So it's not all bad being seen!" ikuto smirks, breathing an amused snort of laughter.

When the door opens again, he turns his head to look, and then straightens. Ikuto nods to Daisuke's explanation. "I'm impressed you got her to sit still for a needle," he observes. Animals don't like to sit still for being poked with sharp things. If he saw the light, he doesn't mention.

As for Ikiko's suggestion? "Her owners might be glad someone made sure she was fed."

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke nods, and smiles. "That's fine. I'm probably super late to my part-time job right now." he says. "So you taking her home would help me." he says with a soft matter of fact nod. He pauses. "Oh. Right. I'm Daisuke Hansuke! I forgot to even introduce myself! I was worried about the dog- my apologies!" he says with a soft small bow to Ikiko and Ikuto.

"I'm a member of Verone's Animal Care Club. Going to start studying to be a veternarian when I hit University." he says.

He peeks at Ikuto. and... uh. Catboy. He's still trying to deal with this. He's squinting at both now. Back. Forth. Back forth. Between all three. He seems to be appraising something. When he doesn't find it. He nods.

"I'll make sure I bring over a kit tommrow or something." he says.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"Ikiko Hisakata, member of Seishou's Animal Care Club," Ikiko replies with a slight bow. "Nice to meet you, Daisuke!" She turns away to focus on petting the puppy, doing her best to stifle a giggle at Daisuke's reaction to Yoru.

"I'll be sure to add it to the inventory then," she notes. "The older club members are picking up supplies today, so most of the inventory totals will otherwise be updated today."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto nods when Daisuke introduces himself. "Ikuto," he offers in return. He's obviously not in a Seishou uniform, so he figures it goes without saying that he's not a student at this school. Though... he notes the look to Yoru. Yes, it's pretty clear Daisuke can see the Guardian Character now.

Speaking of Daisuke's reaction? Things may be about ot get significantly odder for the poor veterinary student. Ikuto reaches up and lightly flicks one of Yoru's ears. "Don't be rude, introduce yourself. He can see you."

Yoru blinks, looking at Daisuke. "Oh, uh. I'm Yoru! Hi there-nya!" He raises a hand-paw in a wave to Daisuke.

Ikuto glances a Ikiko, as if he heard the stifled giggle. And he sends a smirk in her direction. Yes, he knows he's being a troll.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Oh...oh it has a name. That's just... that's just swell. /Swell/.

"Hello. Uh. Ikiko, and Ikuto and... uh. Yoru." he says. He probably wishes he was old enough to get legally drunk- but he has a social image to watch. Instead- he's going to go drink milkshakes until his stomach hurts after work and that will have to be enough.

"I will need to take off then. Make sure she's well fed~" he says, giving the dog one of those shaggy dog pets over her head.

And then... he's off! Down the hall. Walking.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata nearly cracks up at Ikuto's smirk, but manages to keep silent until Daisuke is undoubtedly far down the hall. Then the giggles flood out, until she has to catch her breath.

"I almost feel sorry for him, but that /was/ funny," she finally says, wiping away a tear of laughter. "At least he managed to keep his calm, I think."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
About the same time as Ikiko starts to laugh, so does Yoru, oversized handpaws over his midriff and rolling about in the air as if he were on the floor. Ikuto even lets an amused chuckle past. Yoru half-squeaks in his laughing fit, "Did you see his face-nya?"

Ikuto nods. "He's going to have to get used to it. If he can see Yoru, then that means he can probably see other things," he reasons. "Better to try to get in ready for it when something's not trying to eat him."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata nods in agreement. "And hopefully nothing eats him before magical girls get there," she adds while she pets the shiba puppy. "As a member of the Animal Care Club, I look forward to seeing him again."

She rummages around, pulling out a food bowl and some dogfood. "Here you go, a small meal for being good and not complaining about the needle he used," she says to the puppy in caninespeak.

"No needle," the puppy corrects. "Big stick and floating purple lights."

Ikiko freezes mid-pour. "Oh really?" she murmurs, then switches back to Japanese. "That /is/ interesting... there might be more to Daisuke than we thought." She puts the food away, then looks at the catboys. "I'll make sure I get the puppy back to her home," she reassures them. "In the meantime... it might be worth keeping an eye on Daisuke."

Ikuto Tsukiyomi has posed:
Ikuto nods. "He seems all right," he notes. That would be a shame, the world doesn't need fewer all right people.

He also raises a brow as Ikiko barks at the dog. And it barks back. "They're talkin'-nya," Yoru explains, when he sees Ikuto's confused look. "Like I can talk to cats, 'cept I don't have to meow at 'em-nya." Which is kind of funny, since he all but meows when he talks.

He does, however, catch what Ikiko says when she switches back to Japanese. "Is that so?" he intones, looking in the direction Daisuke disappeared in. As for keeping an eye on him? Ikuto hesitates. "...Let the magical types know. I have horrible things to do to undeserving kids."

That line is delivered with a flatness that almost makes one think he's kidding. But if Ikiko remembers how she met him the first time... maybe not. That said though, he turns and starts to walk out, Yoru following behind. "Later."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata glares at Ikuto as he leaves, but she's already thinking about the magical girls she knows, and how much she should tell them. Mentioning that she met someone who seems to have healing magic, sure. Stating Daisuke's name... well, that can be on a need-to-know basis.

She also makes a note that Yoru can talk with cats. It's not a big thing, but who knows -- perhaps it will be useful to know at some point.

But for now, there's more immediately important things to deal with: making sure the puppy is fed, then cleaning up and finishing the inventory.
