60/Study Trouble!

Study Trouble!
Date of Scene:	12 June 2015
Location:	Uminari City - Seishou Public School
Synopsis:	Phantom attacks a school to- you guessed it!- try to lure out Pretty Cure! He gets a Sailor Senshi, a Princess and a Pure Blade, and some sort of thief in a tuxedo instead.

Phantom has posed:
It's a study period in Seishou. Students are in class cramming for the next test, quiz, or work assignment. Others are taking the time to chat among friends. Less studious students are using the time to indulge in Flappy Bird on Smartphones.

Yurei Fukuhara is here today to deliver things from Seiyou. In a scheduled hallway he bumps into a boy wearing glasses, who was too involved in a book to notice the other as he turned a corner.

"Oh! Sorry!" says the boy. "Ya know... gotta.. study? Right?" he says sheepishly to the older boy from another school. Yurei ponders this all for a moment-----

**MOMENTS LATER**

The boy is now banging on the glass from the otherside of a mirror as he panicedly bangs on the glass from the otherside. "H--hey let me out!" demands the boy, as Phantom looks the book over in his hands and tosses it to one of his kindabads, in cool white diamond shades. "This will do." he says coldly.

"TERRRRRRRIBAD, GO!"

A giant creature forms in the hallway of the school, a giant, black humanoid figure with white shades, wearing a blue graduation gown and motarboard hat.

"POP QUIZ!" demands the creature as black tendrils flow down the hallway from the creatures arms into rooms as random students begin to get grabbed. Phantom looks on from near the creature, the mirror with the student trapped inside not too far off! Screams and panic begin to fill the halls!

Rurako Doji has posed:
Rurako Doji standing at a blackboard, trying to get some younger students to understand the nature of grahm's number.. she blinks as she feels a magical disturbance. She finishes the equasion and hands the chalk to another student. "Okay umm, show your work on how to reach G64, and if you can, figure out Tree3." She says as she walks out of the classroom and slips into a broom closet.

"Everytime..." She mumbles before changing into Lady Silver, a very large blast of silver energy comes from that change, and from that blast she runs. Finding the black demon as she slides to a stop and looks down the hall from behind her silver mask.

"I am the silver sword! The blade that will stop you from harming another person, Purity Blade, Lady silver!" She says as she draws her Katana.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
Rune is 'cramming' very half-heartedly. She's a new student here, and does not fit in. Not with her bizarre name ("I'm from Europe", she tells anyone who asks), not with her baffling lack of understanding of many modern concepts - even with Hinote's help, she's catching up on things that her society would deem impossible - and not with her clear lack of interest in the lessons being taught. She's more interested in watching and studying other students, but has learned that this is best done while seeming to be peering at books instead.

Then... that shout. A shout of aggression, of lashing out at people in the hall. "Ah!?" Runealy is startled out of her observations by this, as shouts of fear roar out all around. A chill runs through her too, for a few reasons.

The most obvious is that this thing is a threat to people. Someone could get hurt, and that someone could have others who care about them. It's not something she can really tolerate, on that basis alone. Yet another reason flickers into her mind as she hurries into a supply closet. "If that thing gets much further than the school..." ...her 'home', where she and her friends stay, where she is convinced they must be able to safely hide if their campaign is to succeed, is in danger.

And so she transforms from hiding, "Summoning Princess' Tiara! The Line of Succession... Transform!" Royal headwear placed to head, a flash of red light provides her magical garb, and she bursts back into the hallway with staff ready. Lady Silver's presence - new to the Princess - is seen and noted. Yet for the immediate moment, she calls out to the monster: "You can't go any further! For everyone's sake...!" A shout follows, as the green orb on her wand launches. It aims high, trying to avoid hitting anyone but the monster in case she misses. Should it strike, it bursts into emerald glitter as another gem grows to replace it on Runealy's staff.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami had JUST been let out of an exam when her computer breeps loudly for her to hear. Thanks to Tuxedo Kamen, her computer's parameters can now scan actual hostile magic in the area, in this case...the school.

"Here?" She then sighs. 'Nowhere is safe." She says as she tries to fine a private corner of the school. Thankfully, it comes in a nearby computer lab.

The irony is not lost on her...

Once in, she raises her Pen...

Mercury Power! Make-Up!

The symbol spins out of the pen, and a blue and white ribbon flows out of the pen, where she arches her back, bends her leg and spins into the ribbon, which encases her body in light, which bursts to reveal

The Guardian of Knowledge and Justice, Sailor Mercury!

She puts her pen away and grabs her computer, immediately pressing her earring, causing her visor to come up. Staying hidden, she proceeds to scan Terribad.

Phantom has posed:
Phantom takes note of the three magical girls who have come to face his Terribad. None of these girls are Pretty Cure. It makes Phantom frown. He says nothing, no words of taunting, no sneering expressions, No speeches about energy for some unknown master, just crossed arms and a steely gaze. He makes a motion with his hand.

His terribad responds as it begins to shock and drain the various people in it's grip with it's STUDY BEAM.

Luckily, the strikes from the various magical girl stop it in it's tracks as Runealy's Burst Orb sends the creature flying back. Phantom has to cover his face a bit from the blast as he makes a sound! It's along the lines of 'Hrmmmmm....'

"STUDY BREAK!" demands the creature as it fires beam of light from it's rad sunglasses along the magical girls, sweeping the hallway in front of it.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor mercury can't help BUT hear the words Study break from the creature and Mercury is already on the move. She literally jumps to the side JSUT as the floor explodes underneath of her. Thankfully, she lands upon her feet. "One of these days, I'm goig to ask how Sailor Moon does it." She says as she turns her visor back towards Terribad and continues to scan it. She keeps a low profile, such as it is, to let the other magical girls face the monster initially. Mercury is the one who gather's data, then finds a weak point.

Rurako Doji has posed:
Lady Silver blinks as her cut does little to the monster, aside from apparently piss it off, though, she does smirk as the magic princess girl sends it flying back. Though it's own attack sends her skidding back. "That stung." She says as she places her sword inside her sheathe and tries and shake off the stinging wound frowning as she does so. She steps forward and makes a leap at the monster, quickly drawing her katana in an Iaijutsu strike. "Let's see how you like thease apples! Get out of my SCHOOL!"

Runealy Waldia has posed:
So much to take in so suddenly. The monster has been struck solidly, but it's still going strong. People are running around. The Princess can't linger on any one thing for long given the chaos in the hallway, but Phantom just... standing there stands out as odd. "What are y..." 'STUDY BREAK!' "Hnn!?" Jarred out of her question by the beam, Runealy's boot wings light up with silver-blue energy and launch her upward. Instead of being a direct hit, it ends up grazing the bottom of one of her feet... which is still enough to draw a yelp and make her land on wobbly balance, almost falling over!

Yet she's not alone, and that helps. Sailor Mercury is slightly familiar, remembered from the fight at Infinity a few days ago... and Lady Silver seems to be quite outspoken in taking the battle to this bizarre threat. There are so many questions she wants to ask both of them, but now isn't the best time.

"It /did/ hurt," an agreement with Silver, "but we have to keep at it!" Realizing that the swordfighter is (obviously) going to be fighting up close, Runealy stops hurling bursting magic around. This time, her wand's gem lights up and sends out a trio of thin ruby-red beams at the Terribad, all aimed and timed to avoid risking hits on Lady Silver.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
He'd come by Seishou to drop off a set of his old notes that're vaguely on topic for one of Ami Mizuno's classes. That's a perfectly reasonable excuse to be at the school. Completely reasonable. Given he's skipping out on his last class to be here -- just a study period, him too -- he's decidedly NOT in is Infinity uniform, but he looks like a hot nerd anyway, signing in at the front desk and smiling warmly at the secretary.

But something feels incredibly... off... in the building. There's no alarms yet, but he hurries down the hall anyway, then disappears into the stairwell.

By the time Tuxedo Kamen bursts out of the stairwell doors on the correct floor, there's already chaos and a kid screaming in a mirror and a monster grad and...

/Someone steppin' his dashing rogue look/.

Eyes narrowing, the black clad young gentleman darts out and runs at the monster's back, then as if making an epic base save, drops and slides at speed for the monster's feet.

Phantom has posed:
Phantom watches as Rurako Doji comes in strong with a strike of her sword, attempting to cut the creature down! It slashes the 'graduation gown' of the creature, rending the front of it to shreds! Runealy's Red beams splash into the creature--- as Sailor Mercury scans for weaknesses. This thing comes up as pure darkness. Ten to one, it has the expected reaction to things darkness hates.

Tuxedo Kamen slides into the scene as he attempts to topple the creature! It roars in agony and tumbles down the hallway a bit. Phantom continues to frown as he grips the hilt of his sword, though he does not draw it.

"This school belongs to the Phantom Empire now." he finally says in his cold voice. "You cannot save these people. Give up." he insists.

The Terribad brings it's hands up. "MAKE THE GRADE!" it roars out across the hallway as it slams the ground, attempting to send the girls, and newly arrived boy, up into the air. The hallway shakes!

Rurako Doji has posed:
The Quake causes Lady silver to back up, and slam into a few walls and lockers before she steadys herself, taking a weak swing at the Youma. "Phantom Empire eh? Well, the Resistance army of my sword says you and your empire are about to be deposed!" She says between gritted theeth, that last one did hurt.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
Another one? The Princess - perhaps not the one Tuxedo Kamen seeks, but a different one only identifying herself by that title - is distracted by the newest arrival, curious about the dashingly dressed one who just did a slide-kick to something that big! "Who are you...?" They've been near one another before, but this may be the first time she has ever had a clear view of him.

Then Phantom speaks, claiming conquest. "The Phantom Empire? Is that who you work for? Is that who you want us to 'give up' to, and just let you... /do/ this!?" She speaks with a mixture of confusion and anger, eyes narrowed.

Her mouth opens to say a little more, yet the Terribad cuts this off. She leaps again as the ground begins to shake, but this is only a temporary solution to an ongoing problem; when the Princess lands... the ground is still rumbling, and she gets battered around, shrieking throughout!

After several seconds of this, she encases herself in a red forcefield bubble, enough to let her get some semblance of senses going again. A thought occurs to her: If this monster can make it hard to move around, can she do the same to it? Aiming to the ground off to the sides of the Terribad - mindful that aiming right in front of him would risk hitting anyone going at the beast - she unleashes a few more orbs from her wand! They're aimed to gouge holes in the floor... the Terribad might get 'splashed' by the very edge of such blasts, but they're not the Princess' true goal.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury's computer beeps, just as the quake begins. She stumbles near a wall and finally, out of sight. When the quake stops, Sailor Mercury reappears, with her hands out in front of her.

SHABOU SPRAY!

A point of light appears in front of her, which she spins her body around 360 degrees, with her arms crossed behind the point of light.

FREEZE!

She sweeps her arms across the point of light to attack the Terribad with a multitude of bubbles, either directly or nearby. Either way it causes a VERY dense fog that neither it, nor Phantom can see through.

HOW DARE YOU TAKE THE ENERGY OF THESE STUDENTS! I CANNOT FORGIVE YOU, NOR GIVE UP WHILE YOU HOLD THESE STUDENTS HOSTAGE! THIS SCHOOL WILL NEVER BE YOURS NOR ANYONE ELSE'S! IT IS MEANT FOR EVERYONE TO LEARN HERE AND IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT! I AM SAILOR MERCURY, GUARDIAN OF KNOWLEDGE AND JUSTICE! I WILL PUNISH YOU!

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Tuxedo Kamen, being in the process of getting up already, loses his balance and slams into the shaking floor, and he's showing teeth when he shoves up and leaps back to his feet and crouches, riding out the rest like he's subway surfing. His white mask glimmers in the weird fluourescent lights of the school hallway, and the brim of his hat shades the better part of his face as he flips his cape back and brandishes his cane at the youma.

"What the heck does an empire want with a /school/?" he demands of Phantom. "It can't be much of an empire!"

Abruptly, Mercury's blessed freezing fog and pointed speech fill the air, and he breathes a sigh of relief into the suddenly deadened acoustics. And then he moves fast, circling around back of the monster again, and he keeps moving, and his voice comes from somewhere else every word. "Empire-tan, terrorizing schoolyards and stealing lunch money. Why don't *you* give up? Don't you have homework?"

Phantom has posed:
Rurako slashes into the beast--- Princess Runealy attempts to topple the beast, and the holes in the ground case the beast to rock back and forth--- but then Mercury unleashes a terrible torrent of fog and bubbles and this forces the creature onto it's back as Tuxedo Kamen brandishes his cane at the tumbling beast.

Phantom doesn't seem phased by the fog. He does answer however. "Where there are students. There is a chance for Pretty Cure. My name is Phantom. I'm The Pretty Cure Hunter." he replies. His hand is, however, now on his blade's hilt, as he hrmphs. "None of you are Pretty Cure." he states matter of factly.

The creature, weakened heavily manages to get up. The boy in the mirror looks on confused, but paniced even more. "H-hey!" he insists loudly. "Watch out!"

The creature unleashes a torrent of paper pages into the air at Rurako, Tuxedo Kamen, and The Princess.

-------Phantom's suddenly dissapeared. Is that what the boy was yelling about.

Phantom appears in front of Mercury, now, his sword is drawn, raising it high, with two hands, red lightning erupts from the blade as a coffin-like mirror, made of red glass transparently forms into existince.."ETERNAL-----------"

The Mirror begins sucking forward, trying to suck her energy---and Mercury proper-- into the mirror. "GAUGE!"--- Mercury's going to need to hold steadfast against the red void's power as Phantom makes his jerk move.

Rurako Doji has posed:
Lady Silver stands her ground against the incomming attack, grunting against it. "Not much left in me... time to end this!" she says as she holds out her katana, now sheathed as she charges her attack, the sheathe glowing silver as her hair and clothes flutter in the wind. "This being of darkness shall suffer the wrath of purification, and I shalll send you back to where you belong!" She says, glowing in a bright silver light as she leaps forward with a yell, letting go of the sheathe as she comes forward, both hands on the hilt of the katana as the blade comes free of the sheathe, glowing a bright silver.

"Silver...

...Sonic...

...Slice!"

She yells out as she brings the blade down upan the monster in an attempt to purify it from their realm.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
As the Red glass forms in front of her, Sailor Mercury immediately backs up. She's a quick thinker, thankfully, so she tries hard to put as much distance between herself and the mirror. Thankfully, the mirror is only short lived, but it does take up a good deal of energy from her. She shudders when the mirror disappears and stands back up, checking where the fog is located and she uses her own will to move it....centering it completely upon Terribad. From there, she uses sheer force of will to deepen the freeze effect of the fog......and deepen it much further.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
The Princess, oddly, winces at Mercury's speech. Not because it was bad; far from it. Not because it might have been loud - if it was, other things in this hallway have been loud too. Instead, she flinches at specific words... 'safe environment', gaze lowered as if Mercury had been rebuking /her/ rather than the Precure Hunter.

Even Tuxedo Kamen's words seem to bring out some disagreement from her, and this one she manages to respond to. "Schools are important for any nation. That's where we learn... if an empire wants to control or destroy them, that's pretty worrying."

Then Phantom surprises her. "A Hunter? If we're not 'Pretty Cure', then... who are?" It's a confusing thing to ponder, but one she doesn't get long to reflect on. Not as the Terribad rises and sprays paper everywhere. Eyes wide, Runealy tries to figure out what this might be leading to... and opts to put herself in another red 'bubble' forcefield, teeth grit as paperstorm batters it! She's expecting far worse to follow, and ends up only being mistaken in who receives the brunt of such attention.

There's not much she can immediately do about /Phantom/ as he moves about, but she can try to deal with the Terribad itself. Thankfully able to see through the spray, Runealy takes aim as a white, somewhat transparent dome forms in front of it. "This has to stop! You can't be left to do this to people...!" She speaks with tiny gasps punctuating her words, a mix of defiance and fear.

"Wardliiiight..." The dome expands, wide enough to potentially hold the Terribad within. "EPILOGUE!" It launches, trying to encase the monster. Should it arrive, gold light begins to flood the dome. If this fills up and the Terribad is still inside, then it will burst!

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Fluttering flying paper, and papercuts are the literal worst. Tuxedo Mask flings his cape up around himself, ducking behind it, and while the cape is pretty hardcore, paper is super sharp and he gets sliced up anyhow. Letting out a little hiss between his teeth, he looks up only to see Mercury on the other side of the hallway, about to--

--okay, right now, the mystery man in the incredibly dapper attire is just watching Mercury, eyes wide behind the mask. Maybe she's the Princess.

Finally he glances to the princess who knows she's a princess and that he doesn't know is a princess, Runealy, and he resolves to answer her question and clarify his previous taunt when all's said and done. Or he could just disappear like a jerk again--

--and then he watches HER attack the creature, and instead of getting anywhere near that thing (that he just KNOWS is going to shatter violently any second), Tuxedo Kamen backs away toward the stairwell, still listening to everyone, but assuredly attempting to become one with the scenery.

Maybe SHE'S the Princess-- or maybe the Princess is a Pretty Cure. But probably not.

Exit stage mysterious, and the masked man lurks in the stairwell to continue eavesdropping.

Phantom has posed:
All the attacks collide into the creature! Rurako's slice , cutting an inrepairable gash into the creature's front, Mercury's attack hitting hard into the creature, and the burst of Runealy's marvelous Wardlight Epilouge encasing it, causing the creature to vanish away into dust---- followed by the swift sound of a mirror, cracking in two, as the study nerd that was trapped in the mirror get's dropped onto the floor with a THUD, he rubs his head. "Ow!---- hey I'm out!"

Phantom goes back to his straight faced frown. This was a waste of his time. No Pretty Cure.

"Farewell." he says, as he steps backward into a suddenly appearing red mirror, which then vanishes out of sight! Well, that seems to be over now.

Rurako Doji has posed:
Lady Silver helps the Studious student up... how she hates the word Nerd. And looks down at him. "Hurry back to class." She says to him before sheatheing her katana and walking over to the other two, Sailor mercury and Princess Ruealy. "That in the name of the spirits is a 'Pretty Cure?" She asks as she folds her arms over her chest, her battle outfit pretty wrinkled and worse for wear, but not breaking away like the night before, she got lucky no one saw it though. "I mean, this is getting out of hand, is no where safe anymore?" She says with a frown.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Watching as Phantom disappears into the mirror, Mercury starts doing more scans. However, she walks forward to Lady Silver. "I.....have an idea, but I'd rather not say anything, for, if my guess is correct, they're like you and I, Miss." She then looks to Lady Silver and Princess Runealy. "And please, what are your names? As you've, probably heard, I'm Sailor Mercury, one of the Sailor Senshi. And....may I scan each of you?" She says holding up her computer. "that way, if you are fighting, and I'm nearby, this'll let me know and I'll be able to help you, if I can."

Runealy Waldia has posed:
The Princess - the one identifying herself only by that title to others - sags in relief as the Terribad is defeated and... someone emerges from the mirror? In all the excitement, she hadn't even noticed that was the case at hand. "Y... yeah, you're..." Phantom vanishes. Maybe it's safe to talk now. She finishes, "You're out, and... are you okay?"

Then others have questions. Runealy lifts her wand over-shoulder and behind her back, and it oddly enough sticks to the side of her dress' ribbon. Hands free, she looks to Lady Silver... or in her direction, at least. Making eye contact right now seems to be difficult. "I don't know what a Pretty Cure is either. I'm probably not one, if that tells you anything. And..."

The Princess' gaze turns down and aside, staring at the floor away from others. "'Safe'... two of you used that word, just now. It's a really important word. Some day, I hope Tokyo is safe. For now..."

She forces herself to face Lady Silver, then Mercury, then Tuxe-- no, the location she last saw Tuxedo Kamen since he seems to be out of sight now, and finishes: "For now, you've at least made it protected. That's half way to 'safe.'" This may be a lingual oddity; the words are all familiar and coherent, but The Princess is using them oddly. "So, thank you."

Mercury then makes a request that flat-out confuses her. "'Scan' me? What would that do? If you need a name... 'The Princess' will do." She's carefully avoiding any sort of real name.

Rurako Doji has posed:
Lady Silver blinks and looks at Mercury. "Lady Silver, I'm a Purity Blade." She says as she looks the other two over. "No, I can't consent to scanning." She says as she lets out a sigh, Her powers, of course, come from within, and she doesnt use an activation device to obtain her battle form, that might cause her secret to get out, plus, Furuku said to limit the information about her abilities and energy. "Well, Hime-sama, whomever you are, that was some pretty nice magic you have there." She says to Runealy.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"I fear we are looking for someone like that, Princess, so I fear I can't, in good conscience, call you that. I'll simply stick with calling you ma'am then." Mercury says as she scans where the mirrors were and....pretty much getting nothing. "Thank you, Lady Silver, and no, I won't scan you without permission. It's why I asked." She then looks to Runealy, holding up her miniature computer. "This tells me when certain energies come within it's scanning radius, while admittedly short, it would tell me if you were in trouble, or even faced something nearby. Once it went off, I would come to help, and bring help with me, if I could." She then takes a breath. "I expect we're not alone here, and rather than stay separate and find a way to do this on our own, we work together and assist each other when we can. Kind of like Sailor Moon says....what are friends for?"

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"'Ma'am' is fine," The Princess accepts this 'non-name'. "And..." She watches as Lady Silver declines. That's interesting, and gives Runealy reason to pause and think on this. Her head tilts down in consideration as Mercury explains things.

Some of it makes no sense to Rune. Other parts sound good in normal contexts. Even with this information, it still sounds odd and risky to The Princess. Yet after several seconds of silence...

"...Okay." This is a decision being made somewhat blindly. "I'll let you use your cell phone on me," that's not a cell phone that Mercury is holding up, but Runealy points at the device to indicate it anyway. "But I want something in return. Can we have some way to stay in touch? Whether it's phone numbers or something else?"

Rurako Doji has posed:
Lady Silver frowns. "My goal is to defend earth, reguardless of anything else, as a Member of Justice, I extend my hand to you both, why not join me, besides, if your desire to be 'friends' is genuine Miss Mercury, then perhaps we can halp each other out, the same for you, Hime-sama." She says with a crooked smile on her face, normaly she only gives a full smile for one person.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Mercury stops short on pressing the 'scan' button. "My desire to be friends is genuine. However, I will admit that Sailor Moon is a lot better at making friends than I am. She seems to know how to generate a great deal of trust in a short time. I don't know how she does it." She then looks to Princess Runealy. "Unfortunately to give each other a way to contact each other would mean to reveal our identities to each other." She then looks to each of them and smiles a bit. "And it does seem that you two are as reluctant as I am to give your real identities. So, I will err on the side of caution and build up more trust before we decide upon that step." She says touching her earring and making the visor fade, then putting away her computer. "I will still help you, Lady Silver. However, the Sailor Senshi, at least those of us that have awakened, follow a rather simple quote. 'What is the best way to get rid of an enemy?' The answer is 'To make your enemy your friend.'" She then starts to step back. "If you'll excuse me, I have some data to look over with Sailor Moon."

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"Sorry," Rune glances to Silver, head shaking slowly a few times. "I can't really join much of anyone right now. I'll help you with defending Tokyo, though."

Mercury's words are very interesting, and Runealy stands quietly to listen. It's only when she's done that The Princess offers some quiet thoughts in return: "I don't know who Sailor Moon is, but she sounds pretty wonderful. So do you. And if you won't give me your number... I'm giving you mine, at least."

Reaching into her dress' bow, Runealy produces a few scraps of paper. These aren't business cards, nothing professionally printed... they're unevenly torn. One slip in each hand, she holds one out to Lady Silver and the other to Sailor Mercury. The only thing on each piece of paper, small enough to fit in a palm, is a string of numbers. "You can call me with this if you ever want to. You don't have to give me yours in return."

Rurako Doji has posed:
Lady Silver looks at Runealy, and places her hand over the princesses and closes her hand. "Not a good idea, if one of us were compromized, the enemy could find you, it's a very dangerous thing you do... cellphones can be traced." She says, as she looks to mercury. "My enemies are not people i would ever want as friends, because my friends are decent people." She says as she turns to walk down the hall. "If you both will exscuse me, I must take my leave, perhaps we will meet on the field of battle again." She says before vanishing behind a corner and into a broom closet to change back into her normal schoolgirl form.

She says taking the slip of paper, and tapping the number into her computer just as Lady Silver fades away. "there, I have your number." She says softly. "But you keep this." She says giving the slip of paper to Runealy. "you will almost always be able to contact me now." She does watch Lady Silver disappear. "I don't think she gets that particular adverb, Ma'am. It truly is a shame I don't have another name to call you though. Mmmm...perhaps in time." She says starts to withdraw again.

"'Traced'? ...Huh..." Runealy doesn't understand, but decides not to press the topic as Lady Silver departs. Mercury's actions are likewise a mystery to her. "How? This is just paper. Without your number, there's no way I could...?" Despite these questions, Runealy makes no effort to stop Mercury from leaving. Even if her mind's voice does comment to herself that perhaps, in time, Mercury will have something else to call her... some other name.
