Date of Scene: 30 December 2015
Location: Mitakihara - Fairy Drop Fashionables
Synopsis: Ayana attacks Fairy Drop Fashionables
Cast of Characters: Ayana, Haruna Kurosawa, Hinote Kagari, Suzuki Natsume, Ikiko Hisakata

Ayana has posed:
It's a few days after Christmas, and Mitakihara is back in full swing. Christmas Lights battle against the latest shipment of Anime, Carolers try to outdo the latest J-Pop, and that's just the way Mitakihara goes.

Fair Drop Fashionables is one of the more popular stores in downtown Mitakhiara, and even though it's past sunset, the store is still crammed full of young teenaged girls all trying on clothing and one-of-a-kind fashions, seeking the best winter outfits for the coming break.

The place is simply rife with hope, smiles, happiness, and enjoyment, which is probably why Ayana chose it as her target. Standing in the center of Fair Drop Fashionables, dressed in nothing nearly so cute as you can buy here, the Shadow Familiar wraps herself in gloom, and sends tendrils of darkness all throughout the store. Those tendrils touch every girl here, and slowly drain away that hope and happiness, sending it racing back towards the kitsune in the middle.
Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino is standing outside of Fairy Drop Fashionables. This is large and by a girl's clothing store. However. He has late gifts he needs to get for two people who do not know what Christmas is- and by and large the adventure in another world had gotten his head completely off track and he forgot about Christmas. Whoops! Well. At least Waldians don't know what it is! So he can fudge it a little.

He's actually pondering wether to go in or not when something foul sort of happens inside and he blinks and he seems to just wilt and ughhhh! "Here!?" he says. He dashes to the side of the store and behind some trash cans....!

Guardian Hino decides to arrive by crashing through a skylight, passing by the second floor and landing perfectly on to the top of a display case containing some costume jewerly. He draws his sword and points it towards where all the tendrils are intersecting.

"Noooot how I wanted to spend my holiday!" he insists.

"Stop this at once!" he calls out.
Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Fairy Drop Fashionables! A wonderful store that sold all sorts of stuff that Suzuki Natsume had never been allowed to get for herself. However, today, she had something different. She had... /christmas money/. Which meant she could get her /own/ clothing, that she could hide and never let her parents see otherwise they would throw it out.

As such, Suzuki Natsume was at Fairy Drop Fashionables, being her usual silent, stoic self among the mass of people. There was however, hope and smiles within her. That hope, smiles, and happiness which had been touched by a tendril of darkness. She noticed it relatively quickly, but the damage had still been gone. That hope, that quiet happiness that had been all that kept her stable the past few days... well.

            It all but disappeared.

Suzuki Natsume silently made her way towards one of the changing booths, closing it behind her. "...Verdrehen Sturm."

            <Set up.>

A flash of clothing exploding, only to be replaced with her barrier jacket immediately afterwards is followed shortly by Storm Knight stepping out of the changing room, the tip of Verdrehen Sturm's naginata blade dragging along the ground, enough that it made the people inside scream and begin to run, because... if looks could kill... well...

Storm Knight might be killing a lot of people right now.

She looked absolutely furious, possibly even hateful, because the things that kept her balanced ... were temporarily gone. And what was left was a lot of negative, barely-contained emotions. "Who did this?" She asks, in a voice that echoed through the building. Cold, calm. And utterly furious.
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko sits on a nearby rooftop, munching on a snack. She glances at the small piece of paper in her hand, then looks towards a time/temperature sign down the street. "Should be happening soon," she mutters.

The wolfgirl had found it odd to see a note taped to the outside of her window when she woke up. It mentioned Fairy Drop Fashionables and gave a time, and mentioned 'I have to be evil'. No name, but the heart and the fox-shaped symbol made it clear: this was an alert from Aya-chan.

The sound of shattering glass catches her attention -- something's gone through a window or the like! Bounding towards Fairy Drop, Tsukiko spots the shattered skylight, with minimal glass scattered outside of it. If she focuses, she can sense Ayana's darkness; not as fierce as when she was Heartless, but still enough to sap energy from those it touches.

"Looks like I'm not the only one here," the wolfgirl mutters, leaping towards the shattered skylight. As she enters the building, she hears the Storm Knight's bellow. Tsukiko winces; this could make things...

Complicated.
Ayana has posed:
Those few customers who don't run screaming out of the door from Storm Knight begin to collapse, one by one, as their energy is drained by the tendrils of darkness. And as each tendril finishes its task, it retracts back towards its master.

It's easy to find Ayana by the tendrils alone, but the kitsune isn't exactly subtle. "Still Night," Ayana declares.

"Stehend Von," replies the gem dangling from the simple black collar around the fox girl's neck.

"Set up: Blasting Mode," Ayana instructs her device.

"Konfiguration. Strahlbetrieb beschaeftigt.."

The gem begins to glow, and swiftly transforms in Ayana's hand, becoming a tall rod with the outline of a fox face at its up.

Ayana grabs the wand out of the air and points it directly at Guardian Hino. "Foxfire," she declares, and a streak of shadowy energy arches out of the wand in answer to his order.

Then, Ayana jumps away from her present position, but three tendrils of darkness slap out towards Storm Knight; not really a dangerous attack, but enough to force her onto at least a minimal defense.

Strangely, no attacks are sent towards Cute Wolf Tsukiko. Maybe the kitsune didn't notice her? Or maybe she can't divide her attention that much?
Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino ehs. "Storm Knight!" he beams. "Let's catch up later, I have a hell of a story for you." he says, though he doesn't look away from that morrass of tendrils that appears to be---

"Oh hell it's that fox thing with that dark jerk." he mutters. He jumps up and away and rolls as the blast of shadowy energy flies over him and blasts apart the display he was standing on.

He curses under his breath as he darts behind the displays.

He hops back up and swings his sword through the air- a curved blade of fire launching through the air towards the Shadowy Fox Familiar- he doesn't call out the attack.

"Ugh, gonna need to find a new place to get gifts." he mutters under his breath.
Suzuki Natsume has posed:
'Stehend von'. Dark energy centering on that being that was not being subtle. Storm Knight makes her way towards that voice, and that energy. She was moving calmly, her footsteps clicking out with each step. There was also a familiar perosn in the area, who broke through the skylight. Guardian Hino. Interesting. He wasn't the source though.

As the tendrils of darkness slap towards her, Storm Knight's Naginata is moved in swift motions to slap back and knock them aside, while the Knight continues her slow steps. Until she could get Ayana into her line of sight. "...I see. We meet again, *Kidnapper*." Storm Knight says softly, that quiet fury lingering in her voice. "And one who spent the whole time claiming *I* was the villain, and that *I* was the one doing wrong in defending myself against people who stated outright intent to steal my partner."

            <GEWALTIGER STURM.>

Storm Knight lifts her hand, three belkan magical triangles appearing, each one producing a bolt of energy that is shot to the ground around Ayana, attempting to trap her in the center of three miniature whirlwinds. It wouldn't cause much harm, not even strong enough to do much beyond throw some clothing enough... but it would make it difficult for Ayana to escape, and they didn't appear to be disappearing any time soon.

Guardian Hino is given a small look from Storm Knight, who simply nods. "Hello, Guardian Hino. As you wish. I am certain it will be an interesting story." She murmurs softly. Fire and wind in the same area... might not be the best of immediate combinations for Ayana.
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko glances at the two other magical folk. She recognizes Guardian Hino from a fight against a Witch, albeit not by name; the Storm Knight, she's actually had more of a chance to talk to.

So, fire and wind... and her girlfriend.

The wolfgirl darts in, dodging around the flames and the whirlwinds, getting up close to the kitsune. She takes a boxer's stance (or at least a rough approximation of one) and throws a couple of cross punches. None of them land; it seems that Tsukiko is crossing them a bit too much, and her fists are passing mere centimeters in front of Ayana's face.

"Make it look good," the werewolf quietly hisses to the foxgirl. It'd be hard to miss her with the tendrils of gloom -- and it might be challenging to strike Ayana while there's a magical girl that close to her!
Ayana has posed:
Ayana starts to dodge aside from Guardian Hino's fire, but she backs straight into a whirlwind, and is spin around once. Luckily, her gloom absorbs most of the burn, but still she yelps in irritation.

"I hate fire," she growls angrily, then turns back around prepared to level foxfire in his direction.

Except there's Tsukiko right in her face. Ayana squints as a punch crosses right past her nose, and she's forced to dodge left, right, left, right, as Ikiko tries to box with her. It's clear the fox outmatches the Cute Wolf in speed and cleverness, because while she's still dodging, Ayana is able to send tendrils of darkness towards Guardian Hino and Storm Knight both.

"Hello, Storm Knight!" she calls past Tsukiko, now seemingly making barely any effort to dodge the cute wolf. "Three on one? This hardly seems fair! But I suppose I do have my little retriever to keep you all ... tied up," one of the tentacles tries to grab Storm Knight's ankle, possibly to lift her straight into the air!

The gloom around the foxgirl seems to lessen; as if she's conserving energy, or doesn't have much to waste on maintaining the absorption field. Or maybe she's just giving Ikiko more time before the poor Cute Wolf will collapse from exhaustion.
Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Tsukiko gets in close, in the way, and in a dangerous position that would potentially put her in the way of incoming fire towards the danger. Storm Knight would, normally, hesitate, would normally just warn her to get out of the way... instead, this time, she lifts her fingers and snaps them.

                "Burst."

            <STURM VERKNALLT.>

A two-part spell, Gewaltiger Sturm activates, sending a strong shockwave outwards, intensifying to throw anyone close to it away. Most importantly, Tsukiko in a very non-gentle way. As that happens, in front of Storm Knight, another belkan triangle appears. This time, it crackles with electricity. Three bolts of electricity shoot forward, aiming for -- those... small whirlwinds? Electricity suddenly arcs through them, and they begin to rapidly spin.

They moved forward, attempting to entrap Ayana in the center again... rapidly beginning to close in towards her and roll around her with crushing force of wind and electrification of lightning. Storm Knight didn't seem to be holding back. It seems that stealing Storm Knight's joy, hope, and smile was a terrible idea. And possibly shows just how much of a knife blade she dances on. "Such bad luck. Just happening to be shopping at the place you attacked. How annoying."

The tendril reaches for her ankle, and Storm Knight doesn't even bother dodging it, allowing it to lift in the air. She simply hangs upside-down, looking absolutely non-plussed as she focuses on her spell. She doesn't even immediately attempt to break out. Instead, she simply focuses on intensifying her spell further. "...You are one to speak of unfairness. If I recall correctly, when I was kidnapped, it was... how many? Five? Yes. Five on one. Perhaps we should call two more, make it properly fair."

Ooooh yes. She was holding a grudge.

And even if she had some hope that her best friend was alright now, her best friend had been kidnapped, brainwashed, turned against her. By evil people. Evil people like /her/. And... that hope that she'd had... was now gone. Drained by Ayana's own gloom. What was left was a rather angry knight. Who was currently hanging upside down.

It might make taking her seriously harder.
Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino smiles smugly. "Oh you hate fire, well let me oblige you with something else then!" he says.

He lights his sword on fire and begins slicing into tendrils, trying to cut them off---he succeeds somewhat, one gets ahold of his leg and that is dizzying and unpleasent--- He slices downwards as he thrusts his hand out to a large display case of what appears to be headbands.

"COMBUSTION....!" he calls out.

The display case gets knocked up through into the air and flying towards Ayana! The side that was facing Hino is slightly charred and a little bit on fire as the force sends it flying.

"SO HAVE THIS INSTEADDDDDDD!" he calls out.

That probably also goes flying pass Storm Knight. Huh. She seems to mean bussiness tonight with a capital B. Hinote is just upset his shopping was ruined. :I
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko yelps as she gets flung by the shockwave, wincing as she hits a nearby wall. The wince redoubles as a barrage of attacks head towards Ayana. There's no time to get there, and trying to keep Riventon out of the loop means minimizing how many people know what's going on.

Still, she has to do something to help! Staggering to her feet, the wolfgirl circles around the fray, lining things up. Dashing forward, she grabs the kitsune in a flying tackle, cannonballing her way through a window. "Destroying the store is a bad idea!" she yells at the other two as she goes by.
Ayana has posed:
Ayana gets slammed between one whirlwind and the next, spun about and bounced around like a pinball! This is made worse by the sudden introduction of electricity to the whirlwind, and she screams in pain and anger.

Just in time to get smashed in the face with a display case. Ayana staggers backwards and starts to gather her own energy for a counter to all of this ... only to get shoulder-checked from behind.

The yelp of pain and betrayal that escapes Ayana's lips can only bedescribed as heartbreaking. She rolls on the surface of the street, flips over once, then KICKS Ikiko off of her, sending the wolf-girl flying. "Get away from me you horrible monster!" she yells after Ikiko, then spins back to her feet.

Meanwhile, with Ayana out of the room, Storm Knight gets dropped to the ground like a sack of potatoes, and the shadowy tendrils have retreated. They surge around Ayana as she reclaims her feet, forming a defensive burier around her. But Ayana isn't out of the fight, yet.

Levelling the fox-eared rod back towards the building, she points directly towards Hinote and sends three streaks of foxfire racing towards him through the window.
Suzuki Natsume has posed:
The display case is on fire, and full of headbands. Those were cute headbands. And fire was a bad thing in a store like this. Storm Knight's gaze shifted from place to place. Hmmm. That would ruin her shopping even further, if the store was burned down. She shifts slightly, snapping her fingers again. The lightning-laden tornado disperses, even as Tsukiko attempts to tackle Ayana through a window. "...You shouldn't say that while breaking a window." She says, her tone mildly bemused.

But she was right. Thud. Storm Knight lands on the ground as the tendril releases her, shifting only slightly to land on her shoulder, rather than her head. She rolled to her feet relatively quickly, beginning to walk out, slowly forward towards Ayana and Cute Wolf Tsukiko. "...I have seen that one fight once before. She used claws then. I do not believe her to be any more of a monster than you, fox. In fact, I might go so far as to say she is holding back." Storm Knight says, her gaze shifting briefly towards Tsukiko. It wasn't blaming though.

Foxfire is sent racing towards Hinote, and Storm Knight moves, lifting her Naginata out to the side with one hand, extending it as far as she can. "Verdrehen Sturm."

        <PANZERHINDERNIS.>

A green shield extends outward from the tip of her naginata towards the window, in an attempt to stop the damage, as Storm Knight moves to get in between her and the store. "This fight is unnecessary. I don't know why you're still fighting. You have already drained myself and several others of happiness, you have stolen my hope and even some of my energy."

Storm Knight takes a slow breath, before giving a slightly exasperated exhale. "For the sake of the store, I will give you this chance to leave. If you do not take it, however... you will not be happy having stolen the happiness and hope of Storm Knight. Because I have not been having a good month. And you have broken my tenuous hold on directing that in constructive ways."
Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino sort of watches as the fight gets flung outside--- he sort of flutters his eyes a bit. "Well..." he says.

He was trying not to weild ALL THE FIRE- but now it's outside. He goes to leap but----oh---crap--- three blazes of foxfire shoot through the window and----

He doesn't leap outside. he gets flung up through the skylight he broke and lands on the ground outside on his face. Oooffff. Well. That hurt and also his cape is smoking. He gets himself back up off the ground. "Okay then. We're outside. That's good." he says. "Because...."

"Now...."

He lights aflame, the firey aura building up around him. "No need to hold back." he says, just sort of remaining on fire as he holds his sword out in front of him, palm resting against the flat of the blade.

"BURNING IGNITION!". He calls out.

A Flame emits from the gem in the hilt, a blaze beam of firey red arcing out towards the Shadowy familiar- now just sort of attempting to light her on fire directly.

"NEVER HOLD BACK!" he calls out to no one in particular when that's mentioned. "NEVER GIVE IN!" he then also adds.
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko lands in an alley across the street. "Anyone get the number of that catapult?" she groans as she pulls herself out of a pile of boxes. The Storm Knight seems to be willing to let the battle end, while the fire Guardian is still fighting. Promising, especially since there's more room for Ayana to maneuver and escape.

The wolfgirl finishes standing up, taking a defensive stance and keeping an eye on the combatants. She doesn't want to prolong the battle; rather, she's hoping for a quick resolution.
Ayana has posed:
With no one attacking her--for the moment--Ayana is able to put her full energy into dealing with Hino's attack.

"Falsche Schutz," Still Night declare. A pair of portals form on either side of Ayana. The one directly in the way of H ino's attack seems to absorb his flame, teleporting it the short distance to the other, which disperses the fire harmlessly back into the earth.

"Hee," Ayana says to Storm Knight, clearly amused at her 'offer'. "Honestly, I'm not really here for the energy. But you have given me plenty of data for my Master to sift through for later." She offers a salute, which she turns into an akanbe, and then turns to bound to the rooftops. "See you later, suckers!" she calls over her shoulder as she makes her retreat.

Unfortunately, her tail is still smouldering from the lightning and fire attacks from earlier. She's in a lot more pain than she's showing.
Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Guardian Hino. He was a lot more firm than Storm Knight. She was severe sometimes, but she wouldn't attack someone who she just offered an escape to. Storm Knight shifts her gaze towards him, listening to him as he speaks. "Never hold back. That sounds like something the members of Justice would say." Storm Knight murmurs, her gaze shifting away from him thoughtfully. "...Differing views, but not necessarily incorrect ones." Storm Knight murmurs softly, thoughtfully.

Still. she had fought in a way that was making her feel guilty. she sent the other magical girl flying without regard for her safety, and possibly several other people. She makes her way over towards Tsukiko, her footsteps slow and calm, still. Waiting to see if Ayana would attempt to flee, as she had offered.

"I did some training while in your 'care'. This is data that will be nothing new to him. He will be disappointed in you for not pushing me to fight harder." Storm Knight responds softly to Ayana. "I hope that he is not a cruel master to you, for your sake." Storm Knight says. As Ayana was leaving... she makes her way towards Tsukiko, offering a hand towards her. "I apologize. I acted recklessly and hurt you. Are you alright?"
Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino holds his sword out, as he waits...and--- she begins to run. He sort of /nrgs/ loudly. "That thing works for the jerk in the black jacket." he says. "-and that jerk just wants to hurt people. So that thing probably just wants to hurt people." he says. "---and what did it do? Hurt people. So yeah. Upset. Things can be replaced." he insists.

He decides not to pursue- instead reseathing his sword.

"Are you two gonna be alright?" he asks to the other two.
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko watches Ayana bound away, then slumps slightly against a wall. "Nothing that a large meal and a good night's rest can't fix," she smiles wryly as she takes the Storm Knight's offered hand.

She gives the Guardian a sideways glance. "I've heard that she's a familiar," the wolfgirl notes noncommittally. "Which apparently means they have to do as their master orders, or risk being unmade."
Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Storm Knight nods slightly towards Guardian Hino. "She did her damage, gathered likely not particularly new data, and has left. While defeating her and recovering the energy would be ideal, this has minimized the damage as much as possible." Pause. Hmm. "...And if she is a familiar, should we defeat her, and exhaust her energy, there is a reasonable chance that she will not simply be defeated so that she might face justice or be purified, she could quite possibly simply disappear from existence." Storm Knight says softly. She takes a slow breath, closing her eyes. "I apologize. I do not have joy or hope to temper my darker emotions. I am being overdramatic. I will be fine."

Tsukiko is given a slow nod, and Storm Knight gently releases her hand once she's up. "Alright. So long as you are okay. ... I try not to be like that, normally. i have gotten fairly good at simply uhm. Going around." She mumbles softly. The statement that she has to do as their master orders or risk being unmade causes Storm Knight to frown. "So ultimately to purify her, one would have to get to Riventon first. I see." Storm Knight gives a thoughtful look, before slowly shaking her head. "I am going to go try to cleanse this darkness. Take care, you two. Hino, I'll text you later about meeting up." She adds, smiling slightly towards him as she begins to make her way off.
Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino frowns as he hrmmmms. "I see. Well. She sure seems to enjoy her work." he mutters.

He turns away and gives a little wave over his shoulder as he leaps away over a rooftop. He'll... deal with the current godawful feelings and pain later.
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko nods to the other two, then starts bounding away herself. Given what shape Ayana was in, and how harsh that fight was, the wolfgirl is pretty sure that her kitsune girlfriend is going to need lots of snacks and TLC.

Time to buy jerky and unscented burn lotion!
