What Is the Silver Crystal
Date of Scene: 03 January 2016
Location: Pikarigaoka - Clover Tower
Synopsis: Professor Sato Izono discusses the nature of the Silver Crystal on live television, does a Q&A session with the audience, distributes dark energy pamphlets of compulsion, and answers questions about the hardness and cleavage of magical gems.
Cast of Characters: Minako Aino, Takashi Agera, Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Kunzite, Daisuke Hansuke, Melanite, Zoisite

Zoisite has posed:
Tonight on TV! with your host, Yuugi Morimoto!

The studio is relatively small, and certainly packed: it's a talkshow, setup basically like early Letterman, with a desk with trinkets on it and a couple of pictures and a phone and papers, as if it were your average salaryman's. There's a potted plant beside it, and behind it, a window on the Tokyo skyline.

Seated at the desk is Yuugi, who's cheerfully serious, who has a reputation for being respectful and taking all of his guests at face value and letting the audience be impressed or tear them apart, at will. It's a little like being on Colbert if you're a Republican, but with a lot more audience participation. Usually only those incredibly sure of themselves take spots on the show-- or request them.

(Obviously a magical crystal promised to be comedy gold.)

The interview until now has been easygoing and light, with the Professor being charming and incisively witty, and Yuugi gradually getting more entertained and doing a few takes to the camera or the audience as if to say 'this is really REALLY going to be interesting!'

Now, however, it's time to get down to business.

"So!" says Yuugi brightly, clasping his hands together on the desk in front of him and leaning a little, looking toward Professor Izono. "Tell us about this Crystal. Why is it so important? What is it?"

"It is," says Sato Izono softly, smiling with a little curl at the corner of her red, red lips, "the most important artifact in the world. Legendary, though recent research -- primarily my team, though there have been independents working on it as well -- have turned up evidence that it does exist, and is actually as miraculous as rumored. It's a priceless gem, and it is not a diamond, though to the untrained eye it might resemble one. There is a distinct sheen of silver to it, throughout it; it has been described as nearly iridescent, but with a faint metallic undertone. More importantly, it has properties that the layman would term 'magical', though of course that's ridiculous. Its unique chemical composition, which we suspect to be extraterrestrial in nature, actually has the ability to grant the holder both immortality and the near-limitless power to change the world."

She laughs, a delicate sound like bells. "For the better, one would hope!"

Then Izono picks up a book from the low table next to her, holding it up. "This is a collection of the myths and legends associated with it, carefully compiled by myself and my team, and a series of articles slated to also appear in scientific journals in the coming months. You can purchase copies from my website, or on your way out."

Then she smiles again, eyes clear and bright and sharp. "I'll take questions now."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
That Ami Mizuno might show up to such an event is probably not a surprise. That she shows up well groomed, in a lovely winter dress, with pretty earings and a necklace, strappy sandals, and a light sweater: also probably not a surprise. That she shows up with a boy, however, might be a complete surprise.

The blue-haired girl came in with Takashi, and although they entered together it is (mostly) clear that they are here as acquaintences rather than dates. She isn't hanging on his arm, isn't even walking terrifically close to him.

Ami found her seat quickly and listened through the majority of the interview with rapt interest. In her lap she kept her teal-hued tablet handy; taking notes, it would seem.

When the opportunity for questions arises, however, the teen looks up curiously, then glances around before motioning for one of the audience mics. Once she has it, she waits her turn, and then asks, "Professor Izono, what evidence do you have that such a Crystal actually exists outside of myths and legends?"

Kunzite has posed:
Kunihiro Saito is, obviously, simply a perfectly normal human civilian, with a perfectly understandable interest in legends and myths given his ostensible profession, who acquired his place near the back of the audience for this broadcast by perfectly normal methods that did not at all include any sort of unwholesome mental influence. Clearly. All agreed on that, right? Right.

He is not asking questions. He is not doing anything that would draw so much attention to his corner of the audience. He's simply watching and listening - studying alternately the human professor and those members of the audience who do speak up. For perfectly understandable and perfectly human reasons. Agreed? Right.

Rei Hino has posed:
Rei Hino is here, and she came with friends, sitting next to Ami, opposite of Takashi. She's making certain assumptions about their relationship that are probably nowhere near accurate, but even if this is Ami's latest flame this is hardly what she'd call a romantic engagement.

Who knows, maybe for Ami and Takashi it is?

She feels a powerful, strong, dark energy. The moment she feels it her eyes... shift, becoming more focused, more alert. She should've expected this from a talk on the Legendary Silver Crystal, but really... she wasn't expecting something this intense.

She wants to mention it to Ami, but the bluenette has the mic right now.

Takashi Agera has posed:
Takashi arrives with a mixture of skepticism and curiosity. He probably wouldn't have made time in his schedule except for the fact that Ami bought his ticket, and so he's wearing a blue jacket and black slacks, and the nice shirt he's got on underneath is well hidden by it.

And it seems like he's choosing to keep the distance as much as Ami is, though he is here. And when Professor Izono talks, she does have his attention. In fact, she has a /lot/ of his attention, because it sounds suspiciously like the sort of thing he ought to be very interested in.

He has to scowl a small bit when Ami Mizuno asks exactly the question he was going to - evidence that this wasn't a wild goose chase is high on his priorities before he devortes anything to it.

Instead, his question diverts to "Professor, do you know the sorts of things that this crystal might have been used for in the past? Since it has, as you claim, phenomenal strength, if it was used wouldn't it leave a mark we could see?"

It's still a very similar question, but it has a different thrust.

Melanite has posed:
Kyra Nygaard is here, mostly out of curiosity. The whole thing about a big super-cool magical crystal rings just a little bit too close to home for her, and the idea that the mundanes might know about it ... well, she's certainly got to at least take a look, even if it distracts her from other priorities for an evening.

Her good friend, Ami Matsuyama, takes a seat next to her. "I wonder what this is really all about," she whispers to Kyra, ever the sceptic about such mystical things. "Promoting some sort of new movie, maybe?"

"Haven't the foggiest," Kyra says. She hates to lie to the girl, but some things have to be kept secret, even from friends.

She settles back to watch the Professor's introduction, and the questions that come from the audience. Eventually, she gets the opportunity to ask one herself, and takes it. "Professor, first of all, thank you for speaking with us tonight. I'd like to hear your thoughts on what, if anything, the crystal should be used for, in this modern, unsuperstitious era... assuming, of course, that it does in fact exist, have the properties you claim, and can indeed be found, that is?"

Minako Aino has posed:
Artemis is also here, sitting obediently by Rei-chan's side. Eventually. He had to sneak in because of the prejudicial 'no animals allowed' rule and he wisely chose not to try and convince Rei he was her 'seeing-eyecat'.

In his mouth is a Venus transformation device.

Venus, or Minako for now, is in the back off to the side, just sort of waiting.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke steps into the hall and looks around his eyes trace around and he has his seat in the television audience. He crosses his arms and feels out of place. Wasn't that odd someone was speaking openly about such a thing? Didn't it feel out of place? He scratched his head. That nagging feeling dragging him here.

The fact the Professor on the stage is triggering the 'deja vu' sense he's been waryily dealing with really only serves to solidfy that fact in his mind.

He watches questions fly. Ah- Rei... Ami. Okay. They'd be here- yeah. That makes sense. Maybe for same reasons he is for all he knows.

He happens to be sat near Kyra and he glances back to the right when she asks the questions. An eyebrow raised. Kyra had trigged the same feelings before-- she's here too.

Daisuke doesn't seem to have any questions for the moment, listening, arms crossed, to the audience. He wants to see where this goes first, the purple haired boy merely listening for now intently. Not so much worry as intense curiosity at the moment.

Rei Hino has posed:
Rei is visibly uncomfortable sitting next to the pen-holding cat.

Zoisite has posed:
Professor Izono puts the book down on Yuugi's desk on the stand provided for it, then folds her hands demurely in her lap. (Yuugi, of course, is brightly interested, as ever.) She looks to Ami first and smiles, and then to Takashi; she's listening pleasantly. She nods to Kyra.

Then the beautiful scientist nods again. "For the first two questions-- a quick summary is that my team's gone to the sites of events in modern history that mirror, or match in magnitude, the inexplicability of events attributed to the Phantom Silver Crystal in myth and legend. They've taken readings and samples, and have detected -- with modern technology -- energy signatures that match each other, still lingering after all these years, and have not been catalogued in any other available body of research. Samples taken from the sites have evidenced micro-impacts of some substance, since vanished, that nevertheless left the impression of a crystalline structure with a heretofore unseen composition.

"They have also interviewed surviving witnesses, or in the case of events too long ago for there to be survivors, second-hand accounts from neighbors or relatives of the original storytellers. There's a common theme: either a miracle was described, accompanied by a sense of incredible peace and hope and a bright, bright light, and mention of a brightly glowing crystal was recorded-- or a disaster, otherwise inexplicable, occurred with enough magnitude to devastate an incredible area, and that indescribably bright light was also present, and witnesses close by also described the shape of a floating crystal, or a figure carrying it. In all of these cases, UFOlogists have claimed that extraterrestrial activity was involved."

She laughs, covering her mouth. "Obviously, since there's no sign of life outside earth, it wouldn't be aliens -- but the artifact itself could easily have come from space."

Then she waves a hand. "Two of the events I'm describing -- there are many more in the book -- are the Tunguska event in 1908 and the so-called apparition of a Catholic icon in 1917 in Fatima, Portugal."

Then she looks to Kyra and her smile is real and pleased. "I'm so glad you asked that, miss. Please make no mistake, this is not magic, but science. And as any science fiction enthusiast should be able to tell you, any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Thus the origin of the myths and legends: the superstitious and unschooled would absolutely classify something they didn't understand as magic. As far as what it could be used for-- well! In the wrong hands, of course, a power such as this could be devastating. In the right hands, it could be used to create the future we should all crave. No war, no strife, no suffering. No one having to die, no one having children unless they want to, no starvation..."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami considers the answer to her question thoughtfully, but allows others to be answered and considered before taking the time to ask another question, herself. "Have any of these papers been peer reviewed or published in the journal of science? And if so, where may I find a copy? Actually, even if not, I would really love to see a full copy of your findings, including the energy signatures you described." Pause. "Are you interested in taking on any interns?"

Kunzite has posed:
Saito's attention stays steady, shifting from Ami to Takashi beside her to Kyra, back to the stage. And back to Ami, at the last, his eyebrows twitching upward just slightly at her last question. Now there's an image. Takashi and Kyra still aren't neglected, though.

The patterns of his attention would probably be distinctly different if he could see Artemis in the little crowd. Fortunately, cats are small, and there are a lot of reasons the girl with the long hair might be looking uncomfortable, starting with Takashi and Ami and their questions...

Takashi Agera has posed:
"Forgive me, Professor..." which is about as polite as he can get in such circumstances "... but, as your other qustioner asked, this seems very similar to other wholy unsubstantiated theories about various things - wether unexplained phenomena or things that people believe our ancestors 'couldn't' have done."

Takashi looks dead at the stage, his green eyes fixed slightly. "I have to admit, I would find your information far more likely if it was in a peer reviewed journal, and not being spoken about in a highly telivised show while you have a book to sell on the subject. At the very least, doesn't it at least make you look less credible?"

Melanite has posed:
Eventually, the microphone comes back to Kyra again. The sense of deja-vu she's been feeling dashes whatever question she was going to ask right out of her head. It's been echoing in a lot of interesting places, ever since that meeting with Kunzite... and who he introduced her to.

"Yeah, right," Ami Matsuyama mutters to her. "Probably get stuffed in some super-secret vault somewhere and used for spy stuff. Like any government would let that kind of thing out of their hands."

And that's Kyra's cue, as she takes the microphone, she offers a nod to her friend. "Thank you for that, Professor, and I'm sure many of us here can imagine other good uses such an artifact could be put to. How do you believe it could be kept out of the hands of those who would seek to use it only for their own benefit, however? If some spy-agency bureaucrat, maybe, or organized-crimelord should get their hands on it... I'd say it represents a pretty terrible risk, don't you think, to even reveal that it's been found?"

Rei Hino has posed:
Rei reaches down to scratch Artemis behind the ears. Which he now has to tolerate because he's her kitty now. Petting happens, too.

For the moment she's listening to questions, looking around the room, and trying to figure out where that ominous feeling is coming from.

Minako Aino has posed:
Artemis does the cat-nuzzling-ankle thing that cats do when people are uncomfortable/allergic, tail flicking up like a firework when his ears are scratched. He curls up on Rei-chan's feet and falls asleep since he isn't needed yet, purring comfortably but weirdly around the pen in his mouth.

Minako might be falling asleep.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke has thoughts form in his head. He taps his chin. The first event he knows--- you basically learn about it in science class when learning about meteors. The second- not so much. He goes to stand and--- then Kyra asks what he was going to. Power equals risk, right? Ugh.

He rests his chin on a palm a moment as he taps his finger against his studio chair.

His eyes scan around and he tilts his head. He looks back, and up to Kyra and gives a short wave finally as she sits back down most likely from her last question, before his eyes peer backwards towards a corner of the studo, before he turns back to the stage.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino wakes up!

"I have questions!" shouts the bubbly, slightly-deeper voice Minako uses, if only so her friends (cat and non-cat alike) don't immediately realize who she is.

"How many calories are in a crystal if they got a lot of energy? Crystal Pepsi has zero calories, which isn't really something to brag about."

"Are you single? Or do you, you know, study crystal stuff all the time? Stuff like... luster. Hardness. Cleavage."

"AND! Crystal contraception! Like, is that for ME? Or for the boy's you-know-what?" Then, more seriously and less deep-voiced: "Do you have protection?"

Zoisite has posed:
Ami's is the first question again, and Professor Izono is still polite, and then flattered; at Takashi's, she gets the steely look, protective venom underneath deadly sweetness, that women in STEM fields -- especially young, ambitious women -- tend to get when their credibility is questioned.

Of course the question that makes her prickly is answered first, covered by absolutely flawless sugar. She addresses Ami and Takashi again: "As I mentioned before, they are currently under review, slated to be published in several journals over the next few months. If you wish to read them ahead of time, they are in the book; if you merely wish for a bibliography and a listing of the aforementioned journals, there is a free pamphlet available at the doors as you exit, also downloadable from my website."

The website blinks onto the screens of the viewers at home. The address is at a respected university, it's not like 'www.gimmeurginzuishou.com' or something.

Her smile for Ami is more genuine, though. "Leave your email address with me at the front desk of the station, I'll let them know I'm looking for it, and we can discuss your other questions at another time."

Then there's Kyra's very relevant question, and Izono looks very serious indeed. "That is, in fact, the reason this interview has been so highly publicized, and is widely televised. The more people who know about it, the less likely it is to be vanished completely. In this age of information, it's much harder to bury things like this. No one knows where it is, but its energy has been detected again and again, and all of our readings indicate that it is, in fact, most likely to be in Tokyo." Then she laughs again, a little conspiratorially, behind the back of her hand. "Of course, for the frequencies we're scanning on, you will need a copy of the book, or at least to pick up the pamphlet. And then you can look for yourself."

Finally, she turns to Minako, and blinks, taken aback. One corner of her mouth turns down, and then she purses her lips... and then... the questions keep coming... and her mouth is twitching.

And she bites her lip. Hard. Her eyes are twinkling.

She is trying incredibly hard not to look at the white-haired gentleman in the back corner, and somehow MANAGES IT.

And then the last question hits, and Izono bursts out laughing helplessly. "Mon dieu! Vous n'tes pas serieux?" She waves a hand in the air, other hand over her mouth, then tries to focus, but keeps having little fits of giggles in between. "You'll have to ask your nutritionist, but I've heard it has fewer calories than Folgers' Crystals, at the very least. I am primarily a gemologist, yes, and I spend quite a lot of time examining hardness and cleavage -- and naturally, I make sure that when I'm handling samples, I'm wearing rubber--" She holds up a hand, wiggling her fingers, "--gloves."

Oh are her eyes ever sparkling.

"As for Crystal contraception, well. If longevity, robustness, and endurance are enhanced for everyone, I imagine it would be for everyone, no?"

She winks at Minako, then turns brightly to Yuugi Morimoto. "I do think," she says with her musical laugh, "that that is an indication the productive part of our evening is over."

Yuugi nods, suppressing his own laughter, and turns back to the audience and the cameras. "That will be all. When we come back from our commercial break, please stay tuned for our next guests, Moimoro Clover Z! Their new album is in stores, and they'll be doing an in-studio session just for you, and talking about what inspired them. Thanks!"

The cameras turn off and security comes out to keep the audience from approaching the stage, and Yuugi and Sato talk quietly as Sato gathers her things.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami considers the response for a moment, then reclaims her seat. She reaches up to scritch Artemis's ears, then glances at Rei beside her curiously. "Any thoughts?" she whispers to the miko curiously.

Melanite has posed:
Kyra pauses, shrugs, and looks back to Ami (Matsuyama, not Mizuno). "Well. That was... interesting. Who was that blonde girl?"

"Haven't the faintest," Ami replies. "Maybe she's with the promotion team? I'll bet she's going to star in the movie."

Kyra hmmms softly. "You might be right," she considers. "The others were far too reasonable, really. I'd say they all had to be plants but they let me ask, too, so..."

"Kyra-chan, that first one was Mizuno-san. She's in our class."

"Oh. Okay, so she probably isn't in it. Maybe the guy is the hero?"

"He looks handsome enough," Ami agrees. "You think he's single?"

Takashi Agera has posed:
Takashi steps back to his seat, too. The Professors response, unfortunantly, answered his question all-to-well. And that meant more problems than if he'd been able to wave her off as a nutjob waving her hands in the air talking about 'crystals' like she was on a History Channel special.

Problems: He needed to have this before anyone else within his organization did. Assuming it had the real power, or even a fraction of it, he wouldn't be the only member of Eclipse looking for it. And given that it was on a major show... he could think of at least three people he knew were probably piling through Eclipse's databanks as he spoke.

The fact that it might be of interest to Ami or any of her friends is really so far from his mind, given his dealings on a regular basis with people he /knows/ are already looking into it.

All of this has left Takashi with a very concerned look on his face, his arms folded. No, this was about to become a priority. It wasn't something he could push back.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke softly listens to the questions and the answers.

Intrested nodding...

Intrested nodding...

...staring at the girl who asked the weird question....

He sighs and places two fingers to the bridge of his nose. He sits side saddle on the seat as people move about him to turn towards Kyra.

"Hello Kyra-san." he says as he looks at her, then over to her friend. Then back up to Kyra. "Did you find that intresting?" he asks politely with a smile to both girls.

"What do you make of it?" he asks with a furrowed brow.

"By the way... I'm sorry I never followed up after that gas leak at the ice cream parlor." he says with a sigh as he begins to stand. "Lifes been a roller coaster. All that." he mutters.

Rei Hino has posed:
Now that Ami isn't talking, Rei is free to speak her mind to the senshi of wisdom. She leans over to the girl and whispers into her ear, "There is dark energy everywhere here. Something is way off."

Minako's cat gets even more petting from Rei.

Melanite has posed:
Kyra pauses in her chat with Ami and looks up. "Oh, hey. Hansuke-san, wasn't it?" She flashes him a warm smile. "Hey, things happen, we've all been busy with stuff."

Ami (Matsuyama!) chips in with "Yeah, we spent a lot of time getting ready for the concert at the school Christmas festival. That little gas leak made her miss practice two days in a row!"

"Ami-chan, really, I was just held overnight in the hospital for observation, same as everyone else who was there. It was nothing... and the concert went off fine even if I did have less practice than you."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino doesn't feel like she got any of the questions to her serious serious serious questions nor got her point across.

Slightly less grumpy is Artemis, who is in purr-heaven and headbutting every single finger that gets into petting distance like he's the world's most dishonest boxer.

Kunzite has posed:
The white-haired gentleman in the back corner may have found his policy of glancing at the people asking questions less of a good idea, at that last set. And indeed, after a moment, there is an absolutely fascinating spot in midair that he studies, neither looking toward the Minako calling out questions nor the Izono having giggle fits as a result of them.

Once the latter has gathered her things and departed, he takes time to glance around at his objects of interest again. Kyra's picked up more company; he studies Daisuke briefly, then the Ami-Takashi grouping, which is now more clearly Rei-Ami-Takashi. -- hm.

That girl looks familiar.

Absently, he redirects attention more or less toward the stage, while keeping the trio in the edge of his peripheral vision.

Zoisite has posed:
All of a sudden, several people in the now-milling audience shriek, holding up their phones. "Sailor V?!" "SAILOR V IS HERE!" "Ohmigod where?!" "S-sugoiii!" "It's on Twitter it MUST be true!" "I wonder if I can get her autograph!!" "Is she here to see Moimoro Clover Z??" "Is she IN Moimoro Clover Z?" "Maybe she's interested in the Silver Crystal..." "Maybe it's HER movie!!"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke eyes trace over the audience... past white hair. He lingers a little on Kunihiro---but suddenly his eyes look down a little at Kyra again when she's talking and also he's not too intrested in locking eyes with anyone right now. Ugh. This has been a weird night.

"Well that's good then." he smiles. "That-- you were able to make it in time I mean- not that practice was missed----" he says.

".. so Kyra-san, what brought you here today?" he asks curiously.

"...was it just a feeling or did you come to see the music group?" he wonders. She is in the Music Club, afterall!

He turns back to the stage--oh. a rancor of fans. uh oh.

he turns back to Kyra. He smiles down to Kyra's friend though.

"Oh--" he bows. "My apologies. My name is Daisuke Hansuke." he smiles, bowing to Kyra-san's friend Matsuyama-san.

Melanite has posed:
"Ami Matsuyama," the girl beside Kyra replies. "And yes, we mostly came for the music. Although this was pretty cool, don't you think?"

Kyra nods, "I'm getting the feeling they're going to be delayed, though. Sailor V takes precedence over just about everything, when it comes to her fans."

She pauses for a moment, then considers. "I wonder if she can sing?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"I'm not terribly surprised," Ami replies to Rei quietly. "In fact I'd almost have been disappointed if that wasn't the case."

She turns and glances over her shoulder, then leans over to Takashi. "So what'd you think? I know it's not a chess set, but judging by the look on your face you're about as bothered by all of this as I am. Was it worth your time?"

Takashi Agera has posed:
Ami's question actually drags Takashi somewhat forcefully out of his world of equations, plans, and slight panic. "Hu... Oh... yeah. I need to see if everything she said checks out, if her research is solid." he says, somewhere between excited and very concerned. Then stops. Perhaps he shouldn't have admitted he had such a degree of interest in such things?

"I mean, it's either an interesting find or she's just another charlatan - and I'm just curious to know which." Takashi is not always good at defusing things like this.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke nods. "I guess it was cool." he says to Matsuyama-san. "I sort of came because it sounded intresting I guess." he asides. He strokes his chin. Ugh, Sailor V talk.

Can she sing? Daisuke tries to imagine what he knows of Sailor V via personal interaction. She dislocates her right shoulder to reach a HIGHER octave and Daisuke's face just gets as purple as his hair a moment as he ugggghhhhs. He shakes it off. Color returning to his face.

"...I'm sure she's decent enough." he finally says.

He looks around and crosses his arms again. "Kyra-san, hey, when you have some time soon, do you think we can talk?" he asks a little more quietly.

Melanite has posed:
Kyra hmmms softly, and considers the question for a moment. Then looks over to Ami, questioningly.

"No, it's okay, Kyra-chan," Ami insists. "There's no club practice on tuesdays, you know that. It's Ichinosei-sempai's date night."

Kyra nods. "That's right... she complained about it often enough when we were running all those late practices in December." She looks up at Daisuke again. "I guess sempai gets her way now that the big concert's over for a month or so. Sure, I'm free tuesday. Lunch?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami smiles at Takashi's response, then gently pats him on the hand. "At least you found it interesting," she notes quietly, then powers off her tablet. "I think I'll leave my email address and see if anyone bites. Want me to let you know wha I find out from that?"

Kunzite has posed:
There's a soft sound from his pocket, and Saito shifts position enough to take out and study his phone. Then to narrow eyes at it, the faintest shadow of a scowl. Almost exactly ten seconds of carefully controlled breathing, and he puts the thing away again and rises, making his way to the exit.

Of course he picks up a pamphlet in passing. What perfectly normal human wouldn't?

Takashi Agera has posed:
Takashi looks to Ami as she talks. "Well, it was a fine gift, if that's what you're concerned about." he says. Then, his eyes brighten a little bit. "I'd be very interested to know if you get anything out of it, yeah. I find the whole situation... strangely intriguing, I suppose. And she mentioned energy wavelengths which interests me as well." her adds.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke nods. "That works." he says softly placing his hands into his pockets. He smiles.

"It was nice meeting you, Matsuyama-san." he says, another soft bow. "I'll see you then." he says.

He slowly walks out not deliberatly, but he seems deep in thought as he looks at the Phamphlet... hrm.

He regards it for a bit as he strokes his chin, staying out of the way- to the side for a moment.

Did he want to get involved in this? Certainly... others seemed intrested. But.

Nrg. Now he's looking concerned worried- just a little bit.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Mmmm, we'll see, then," Ami agrees with Takashi. She finishes collecting her things, then smiles at Rei. "Anyways, we should probably head out before all those pamphlets are taken. Thank you both for coming with me, Agera-san, Rei-chan."

Melanite has posed:
Kyra nods to Daisuke. "I'll see you Tuesday, then." She smiles and turns back to her conversation with Ami.

Takashi Agera has posed:
Takashi nods. "Thank you for the gift... Ami-san." he says, after a pause wherin he deliberated between using her last name to suit her calls, and not wanting to call her Miznuo-san, since she asked him not to.

On the way out he does pick up one of the pamphlets. When he does so, his face immediately turns to a frown. He can feel it - that unmistakable tinge of dark energy - He picks up another one, experimentally. Yep, baked into it like a pie filling. That may mean that someone else who wants this crystal may be closer than he thought.

It certainly doesn't inspire him to procrastinate.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami makes her way out with Takashi and Rei, and reaches for one of the pamphlets. Rei stops her with a quiet word, and Ami arches a brow, then glances at Takashi thoughtfully. There is a little frown of worry on her features, but she's not entirely certain how to resolve it. Nevertheless, she takes one very briefly, then makes it disappear like a cheap parlour trick. Was that a little flash of energy from Mizuno? No, no, she's just your ordinary average 14 year old girl. No energy here.

"Agera-san," Ami notes quietly, "You probably only need one," he whispers to him. "And I'm not sure they're worth having anyways. It's all just meaningless drivel," she notes quietly, showing her empty hands.

Takashi Agera has posed:
Takashi shrugs. "It might be. It might not be. I'm getting two because I need to..." His face stalls. Because none of the actual answers are good here. "Because there's something I need to check." Non-answers, however, are awesome.

He's far too engrossed in what the dark energy means to notice any possible Senshi Shenanigans.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke watches people grab them... he sees discussion between Takashi and Ami. He closes his fingers against the bridge of his nose again. He'll just buy the book later. Right now he's leaving without the phamplet for now.

He'll deal with the horribleness when he pays for it like a proper dark energy victim, duh.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami's expression sours rather distinctly, but she nods her head. "If you say so<" she says faintly to him. "Thank you for coming with me. I look forward to our next chess match." Pause. "Ah, actually," she reaches into her bag and pulls out a small notepad and pen, then jots down her phone number and name, tears it off, and offers it to Takashi. "We should try for something more regular than random meetings. Why don't you call me some time."

Takashi Agera has posed:
Takashi blinks a little bit at her sour expression. "Like you said, it was interesting." he nods.

He takes the paper though, and looks at the name and number. And there's a slight hint of a smile as he does. "Well, I suppose it'll atr the least save me a few days of walking into Crown looking for you." he adds as that smile turns into a grin. "It only worked as well as it did because I'm persistant."
