Synopsis:	Some thugs try to bully Minoke. Sayaka to the rescue!

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    It's a chilly evening in the Penguin Park tonight, and one has to wonder why anyone would even be playing outside right now. For Sayaka, she was so busy hunting witches, that she totally forgot about her study session, as she's still pretty behind in classes. Of course, she wasn't all that keen on meeting up with a bunch of her classmates in the library instead, and would have preferred to just hit something instead!

    So here she is, wandering around the park late at night, watching some pretty hyperactive kids fooling around and generally goofing off in the playground (Have they had a bit too much to drink..?) At any rate, she just sighs and rolls her eyes as she searches for a nice quiet spot to practice her kendo. Now more than ever, it's important for her to keep in shape, not just to take on witches, but also show up arrogant show offs like Homura that she's not some newbie write-off!

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato was in the library, doing some research. She is simply rolling along in the park, with a jacket around her upper body. She was just looking up at the stars, hmmmmming happily as she rolls along with her powered wheelcahir. She sighs softly. "Maybe I should be getting home..." she murmurs softly. "Affirmative, mistress." comes a quiet voice from Minoke's choker. "Quiet, you," she grumbles, flicking the gem on her collar. "Not in public, remember?" She rolls along, going near the rowdy kids.

    Naturally, the rowdy kids spy the invalid, and a nasty smirk appears on their faces. There are four of them, a bit bigger than your average middle schoolers and they dont look very friendly. They quickly change their course to intercept the wheelchair-bound girl.

    "Hey there little missy? What's rollin'..Besides you of course!"

    "Hey! Can you gimme a ride on your little push chair!?"

    "How's about you just shove over and give us the chair, ya lazy bum!"

    The slightly drunken kids sway as they move towards her, giving off a rather creepy aura. One of them attempts to grab her chair by the arms and shake it!

Minoke Sato has posed:
Motorized wheelchairs aren't known for their speed and Minoke is quickly surrounded. She then yelps as they shake her chair. "Go away!" she yells as she grabs her phone, starting to dial her parents. The gem on her choker flashes warningly but wisely says nothing. She then rolls backwards to try to make them let go.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka is no fool. She's already heard the thugs although she's chosen to pay them no mind, and in fact, to keep her distance. However, when they start bombarding the poor invalid girl, that immediately grabs her attention. She should probably call the police, but Sayaka's always been one to solve problems on her own..Besides, she's a Magical Girl now, and protecting others is her duty!

    "Hold it right there!" she yells as she steps quickly towards the group. Sayaka has already pulled out her wooden kendo sword, which isnt very intimidating by itself, but in the hands of an experienced swordswoman, it may very well be lethal!


    The thugs immediately turn towards her with a sleazy look in their glazed eyes as they attempt to accost her. One has a knife, the other, a smashed whiskey bottle! The fourth continues to hold onto Minoke's chair, still harassing her although the roll backwards causes him to lose his balance. "Damn kid!" he grumbles as he attempts to throw a random rock at her!

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato rocks the chair back and forth to try to get the kid to let go. Then she sees a rock being thrown right at her head and she screams in terror - and suddenly the gem on her throat lights up and the rock stops in midair, hovering there. She simply points at the kid who threw it and it fires at his stomach, hitting with enough force to knock the air out of him as she makes a beeline for the girl who's trying to defend her, hoping nobody noticed that the rock seemed to ignore gravity for a little while.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka smirks wryly as she easily dodges the three thugs' attacks. Even unpowered, she's quite skillful and she effortlessly knocks all three to the ground, knocking one out completely and sending the other two running. Glancing over at the girl, Sayaka sees that she is being accosted by the fourth thug. She's about to intervene, when the girl uses some sort of telekinetic power to stop the rock midair, sending its trajectory back at the attacker and hurling him to the ground, knocking the wind out of him!

    It seems the two remaining thugs are at least for now out of commission. Sayaka briefly considers calling an ambulance, but decides they're not worth it. It's probably not that serious anyways, and they had it coming to them afterall!

    With wide-eyed wonder, she peers back at the girl. "Hey! Are you alright? Although it seems you've got some surprises of your own!"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods slowly. "Yeah - I guess you noticed that, huh?" she murmurs. "Let's get out of here then we can talk. It was... a panic thing." The onyx gem is still flickering. Minoke taps it and it finally goes dark. She starts rolling towards somewhere brighter-lit.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka peers curiously at the girl's gem choker, but reserves her questions for later. Those thugs might wake up soon, and cause more trouble!

    "Right! I suppose we can head to the cafe over there..It's pretty cold out here!" and without anymore hesitation, Sayaka guides Minoke's wheelchair towards the nearby cafe. "Hey, my name is Sayaka Miki by the way! Nice to meet you!"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods as she rolls along after you - it's a powered wheelchair after all. "Minoke Sat. I was doing some research for a science fair project on physics - it's not going well. The stuff I was reading was way above my head. But... maybe I need to find some easier-to-comprehend books." She rolls into the cafe and waves. "Hmmmmmm. It's nice to meet you - my hero. Maybe I should keep a wooden sword on me or something."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka smirks, "Oh yeah? So are you a super smart science geek type? Cuz I could totally use the help in studying for finals!" Of course she doesn't want to seem like she's using her new friend either! "Hehe, well, it takes a lot of practice to weild a weapon like this with some measure of efficiency. However, seems you're magically talented yourself..Throwing that stone around like that? That's more than enough to defend yourself! I'm sure you didn't need my help afterall!"

    As they enter the cafe, they are greeted with a rush of warm air, and the soothing aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Sayaka peers up at the menu, rubbing her cold hands together to get some feeling back. "But let me treat you first! I really hate bullies, especially picking on someone who is at a disadvantage! Do you know 'em, or are they just some delinquents who hang out here often?"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato sighs as she smiles, moving to a booth with you. "Thanks... pumpkin pie is good. And I'm not that good with schoolwork. I mean - I do enough to get by. But I'm trying to do well in Physics this year." She sighs. "I don't know them and... damn, I try not to do such things in public... I'd appreciate your confidence in this matter."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka smiles as she orders some peppermint hot chocolate and some warm pumpkin pie, before joining Minoke at the table. "Of course! Although I am curious, if I may ask.." she lowers her voice of course, not wanting people around her to hear her. "How exactly did you acquire that gem?"

    To be truthful, Sayaka has seen many magical girls out there, however, she doesn't fully understand most of their origins. Could this girl be a fellow Puella? Is that her soul gem or something else? Certainly, she's never seen other soulegems used in that way.

    "Aww, that's too bad! In truth, I'm looking for a fun study buddy! But I'm sure you're better at it than me...what school do you go to?"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato murmurs, "I'm at Seiyou. Eighth grade." She then sighs. "My parents got me this choker as a present. I guess it was destined to come to my hand. Tell me... what... did you think you saw?" she asks as she takes a bite of the pumpkin pie. "I'm just trying to figure out how much I should say..."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka hmmms as she sips on her hot chocolate. "Well..It looked like you used some sort of telekinetic power to stop that guy's rock mid-air, and hurled it back at him with quite impressive force." She smirks, "I'm pretty sure that's what I saw..But I also sensed something else. Don't worry, your secret's safe with me. Let's just say, I have some..Abilities of my own." Sayaka's not sure how much exactly she can reveal however, and so she leaves it at that.

    "Wow. So a magical artefact that you inherited. Well, it's good to have something to protect you. With jerks like that hanging around, not to mention all sorts of other dangers out there..." Sayaka pauses dramatically, again uncertain if she should mention youma, witches and everything else in between. "Well, a girl's gotta have some way to protect herself!"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato smiles. "It wasn't telekinesis. It was... gravity control." She sighs and taps the gem. "Go ahead and introduce yourself," she states softly. The gem starts flashing. In a soft computerized feminine voice, it says, "Greetings. I am Swirling Vortex. The Device assigned to Mistress Minoke Sato. You witnessed an automatic defense program that activated when an objct was about to impact Mistress. It was returned to its source to incapacitate the hostile target." She blinks. "Hmmm. Vortex isn't this talkative, normally." She shrugs. "Basically - it was magic."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka's eyes widen in surprise and then disbelief as the device begins to speak! "Woah...That's amazing! Why, it almost sounds like a mini-computer of sorts!" wow, but isn't that fascinating! Sayaka's certain she's seen other Mahou using similar devices, although she's having a hard time now understanding who or why, as she didnt know them well and only witnessed their actions from afar.

    "So, this..Vortex allows you to control the gravity around you? Then you should be more careful about letting others know what its capable of. People could just steal it from you.." She frowns, "However, Vortex seems to have a strong protective ability for you, so hopefully you shoudl be safe as long as you're subtle about it. Are there other devices like this?"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "Yes. There is a decent amount of them. I've even met a few bearers but... you'll understand if I don't tak about them. You said you have some abilities?" she asks curiously. "and I'm sure Vortex would have ways of preventhing theft - like, you know, making herself weigh a ton or something."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka smiles, lifting up her right hand to reveal the glittering ring on her finger. There's a sapphire jewel embedded in the silver metalwork, but at times it seems to glow with power. "I do, although it's a bit different from a magical artefact. Actually, I'm not entirely sure what it is or how exactly it works, but let's just say..It's enough to protect me against certain dangers. I dare not say anymore than that however."

    She chuckles, "Of course, I'm sure Vortex is very..Smart. I suppose I shouldn't ask too many questions either!" after all, she only just met the girl! "But, it's nice meeting you! I should get going soon..I have a long way to get home and the buses dont run all that late from here. We should definitely hang out again!" she smiles, "Oh yeah, I'm from Infinity University. I'm a middle schooler there."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "I'm in eighth grade too - but my family can't afford Infinity." She shrugs as she finishes the pie. "Is it a Device?" she asks, looking intently at the ring. "That's... fascinating." She smiles. "Maybe we can become better friends and one day be able to tell each other everything..."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
    Sayaka shrugs and smiles< "Not exactly sure. Let's just say..I made a contract, and woke up with this magic ring. I suppose you could say it's a device, it's called a soulgem. But that's all I know. I need to study it more. However.." Slowly she rises from her seat. "Listen, I gotta run, it was nice to meet you once again! We'll hang out again for sure in the future!"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "Sure," she states. "I look forward to it." She waits for you to pay, nad you her phone number scrawled on a napkin, and rolls out after you and heads home.
