Wobbly Wheelchair Wreaks Weirdness

Synopsis:	Minoke falls out of her chair - Shinobu to the rescue!

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato rolls along - she was doing some evening studying on her physics exam - she is trying to learn more about what she can do - though what she can understand is that her gravity magic basically invalidates several textbooks. She found one more grade-approrpiate this time. She then hmmmms happily as she was a bit tired - and veers a bit - and then her chair hits a pothole and she topples over onto the sidewalk with a shriek. She then sighs softly as the choker starts flashing. "Not yet, Vortex... we're in public,' she murmurs and the flash fades as she glances around. She knows hse can get her motorized wheelchair upright herself. She drags herself by her arms to the sidewalk so she's not in wet grass, as she fumbles for her phone but it's not handy.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
    After a filling dinner of ramen with a new friend. Shinobu exited the resturant. She does remember how she got there and begins moving toward Infinity U. Her can carefully sweeps in front of her, constantly checking for anything that might be a hazard. A few minutes pass and then... CLACK! Her staff connects with something on the ground. It had struck the automated wheelchair. Beside it she sees a streak of life energy. Turning towards it, she smiles, "Hello? Are you okay? Can I help you at all?" She asks politely.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato sighs softly. "Can you get my wheelchair upright?" she asks softly. "I... ummmm...." I hit a deep pothole and my chair toppled..." she then trails off. Oh she's blind, goes through her mind, recognizing the distinct white cane. But she doesn't say anything about the odd cane.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura gives a nod and a smile, "I'll try." She uses her cane to tap the wheelchair. The sound of metal lets her know where it is. She kneels down and starts running her hands over the chair, finding the wheels and then the leather of the armrest. Carefully she sets the chair upright. She moves it closes to the beam of life energy on the ground. "Here you go?"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "Thanks..." she states, smiling as she drags herself over to it and slowly starts to pull herself up. She has strong arms - it's necessary to move herself. She gets settled, and is panting, out of breath. "I'm... (pant).... Minoke..." She looks at you, still out of breath.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura is still facing down towards Minoke. "Nice to meet you Minoke, My name is Shinobu Kimura. You can call me Shinobu. I was just on my way back home. Are you going to be alright. I could walk with you a bit if you'd like." She gives a warm smile and pulls her green parka right to brace for a cool breeze. "Its really cold out here this evening. I hope spring comes soon."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato shivers. "Yeah... I'm freezing... that grass was all covered in dew..." she mutters, futilely brushing water off of herself. "I wouldn't mind an escort..." She then murmurs, "I'm lucky I encountered you - I might've been stuck there a while..."

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura nods slowly, "I'm sure someone would have stopped to help. Not everyone is a jerk. I know." She smiles and falls in beside Minoke. Her cane goes out in front of her and she is ready to move. "So what school do you go it, Minoke?" She asks curiously.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato murmurs, "Seiyou." She is shivering, her teeth chattering as she rolls along. "Let's... stop in here, to the right," she states as she goes into a nearby cafe as she rolls in, shivering violently. "Hot... c-c-c-cocoa..." she orders - she looks a mess - grass and mud all over her, and freezing cold.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura follows Minoke in. "I'd like one of those as well please." Then to Minoke she gives a warm smile, "I'm sorry, I wish I had something I could give you. All I have is..." She takes off her parka and offers it to the girl in the wheelchair. "You need it more than I do right now." She smiles to her.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato just shivers, as she quickly starts drinknig her cocoa - her shivers fading. "Thanks... I fell..." she murmurs to the waitress. "And... this good lady helped me back up." She smiles faintly as she starts to feel warm once more.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura makes a little face at that comment but she lets it slide. She is guided towards the cup of cocoa and she takes a deep sip. "Mmmmm Yummy." Carefully she finds a place to sit. "I go to Infinity U. Or, I will when school starts back up. I was getting unpacked in my dorm when I went out earlier to get something to eat."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "I heard about that place. My personal hero goes there - I hope to meet her one day. Hannah Sharpe, the blind kickboxing phenom... she inspired me when... I felt so down about this," she states, gesturing to the chair. "I was never as strong as she was to accept my condition and work with it."

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura cocks her head to her side. "I've heard of her over the radio. I got into the University on a scholarship. I have a talent for public speaking and I want to get into radio. I think it'll be fun. Plus I can tell stories and entertain people. Thats awesome to me."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "Tell me a story," she states, clicking her tongue. "I could use a good story right now..." She sighs softly as she is taking a slow deep breath.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles and takes a sip of her cocoa before she starts. "Once upon a time there was a dashing rogue. He was the type of man who was always getting in trouble. He enjoyed stealing from the rich and giving to the poor... though this was not Robin Hood. No... This is not that guy's story. This is a story about a man named Kyo. Now in many of these stories, The handsome rogue would meet the fair maiden on the country side and they would ride off into their happily ever after. That is not this story either. Kyo's life didn't really begin until he got caught. There was no grand escape. No fight for what he thought was right. Just a single beacon of light. Her name was Aimi."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods as she listens happily to the story, smiling softly, clicking her tongue. "Neat," she states as she listens happily, hmmmming softly.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles and continues her story, "Aimi was a law abiding citizen. A hero to the common people because she stood up and made sure that they could not be judged unfairly. It was because of this Kyo and Aimi crossed pathes. At first, they wanted nothing to do with each other. They were on opposing sides of the law. She was so good and he was a criminal. They wanted nothing more then never see each other again. It was this that lead Aimi to take Kyo's situation to heart. She knew if she could get him cleared of his crimes, he would be free to leave her country and she wouldn't have to look at him any longer."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "So did she succeed?" she asks curiously as s he finishes her cocos and orders a slice of pie for herself and her new friend. She wants the story to continue.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles, "While Aimi worked hard dealing with this man whom she wanted nothing to do with, she started noticing thing about him. He wasn't the cold thieving criminal that she had thought he was. He was something more. She discovered that they both wanted to help others and both were profiting from it. She was doing it in a way that was perfectly fine. He wasn't. When she seen this, she started getting closer. The Two began falling for each other."

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato smiles. "So - it's like that old play, Romeo and Juliet," she muses softly. She is listening intently, as the pie arrives - pumpkin pie with cool whip for the two as she eats slowly.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles, "despite how weird their relationship was, they made it work. They were wed and while, I would adore saying they lived happily ever after, That is for another story. I will say this, the two brought their respective worlds together 9 months later with a single daughter. One whom they both greatly loved." She finishes her cocoa and goes for the pumpkin pie.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "Well... please tell me that wasn't an autobiography," she cooooos as she finishs her pie. "Thanks for the story - it was wonderful. So - maybe we can hang out sometime..."

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles, "My name is Shinobu, not Aimi." She smirks a little. Of course she never gave the babies name. Probably for the better. "Hey I am all for that! It would be fun! Feel free to come by my dorm! Maybe you will get to meet your hero while there?"

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato hmmmmms. "That's a great idea - is it wheelchair-accessible?" she asks, clicking her tongue. "Well, I should get back - I hope my parents aren't going to be worried..." She smiles softly, clicking her tongue. "So..."

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles a little, "Its handicapped accessable. It sorta has to be." She raises her eyebrows over her dark sunglasses. "Okay. Bring back my coat when you can. you use it for now. I just a short trip for me to get to the dorm.

Minoke Sato has posed:
Minoke Sato nods. "Sure," she states. "Thanks again - Shinobu-sempai," she muses as she blows a kiss and then begins to roll out.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles and waves, "Be safe, Minoke-chan!" With that she begins making her own way out of the the little store and toward Infinity U.
