Cast of Characters: | Suzuki Natsume, Mamoru Chiba, Hannah Sharpe |
- TXT from Suzuki Natsume: Hannah said something concerning yesterday. She also knew about my job. I'm worried about her. I think something terrible might happen to her soon. Keep an eye out? It sounded almost as if she expected to disappear soon.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Suzuki Natsume: ...kuso. Thank you. Okay.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Hannah Sharpe: What trouble are you in.
- TXT from Hannah Sharpe: Trouble? When am I not? Hit a wall in my 'lab project', there's a giant flower over our heads, my best enemy doesn't even remember who I am. You'll have to be more specific.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Hannah Sharpe: Start with that first one. The other two I can account for and are unlikely to make you suddenly disappear.
- TXT from Hannah Sharpe: It's called a critical lack of samples. Those little black roses turned out too uncontrolable, so that's off the table. With that flower messing with everything, suddenly I don't have as many relevent things to study for ideas. And, well, let's just say reverse engineering /anything/ is a pain in the butt when you've never even seen how one is made in the first place. The little white rat isn't helping matters either.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Hannah Sharpe: Little black roses? And yeah, I am pretty much down with Homerun Rat Extermination Services, Ltd.'s methods. What kind of samples do you need? And mind you, I'm not sure how this problem is going to result in you disappearing.
- TXT from Hannah Sharpe: Hey, I'm trying to use metaphors here! People might go through your texts. Well, see, I need to be able to see how our little ticking timebomb friends are made. Even if we put aside the moral considerations, I have this bad feeling that the rat's getting something out of this. He's like a really creepy car salesman. Wait, I missed something. Dissapear? Who said anything about me going anywhere?
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Hannah Sharpe: The problem is that there are apparently literal little black roses, haha. Anyway, okay, so that's the same junk as from before, all right. A mutual friend of ours said that you're being worrisome at study group, not just at work? And that the way you were talking sounded like you actually expect everything to bite you in the butt in short order.
- TXT from Hannah Sharpe: Oh. It's complicated, okay? I want to tell her everything, because I trust her. So I asked her a favor for when the time is right.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Hannah Sharpe: That's fine. She knows about my job, for the record. I just... I need you to be not dead or vanished or anything, all right? If there's anything I can help with, please tell me.
- TXT from Hannah Sharpe: Thanks Mamo. Oh, good. Keep her out of trouble, okay? I need her to be okay, work-wise and outside of work. Let's just concentrate on that flower for now. And hopefully without you ending up in the hospital. Again.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Hannah Sharpe: I will. She also has someone else watching her back now too; I think she'll be all right. And no fear, I am doing my damndest to say out of the hospital!
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Suzuki Natsume: Okay, I think she'll be okay, as long as we both keep an eye on her.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Suzuki Natsume: And she'll probably tell you more than she'll tell me, so just keep at her.
- TXT from Hannah Sharpe: So you mean I'll be seeing you there wednesday instead of tomorrow? :P Anyway, stop by some time, I need help on this art project. I swear, making the blind girl /paint/ has to be illegal in any sane country!
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Hannah Sharpe: YOU ARE SO MEAN. Okay I will! Probably with Homu-chan if that's okay.
- TXT from Suzuki Natsume: Tell me more? That sounds odd. She told me she can tell me barely anything.
- TXT from Hannah Sharpe: Heh heh heh! Yup, bring her over! I'm making cookies.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Suzuki Natsume: She won't tell me anything except that it's complicated and she wants to tell you. So just have patience and watch her back.
- TXT from Suzuki Natsume: I see. So she wants to tell me, she's just not able to immediately because of danger to herself... or maybe me? Hmm. This doesn't make me any less worried, though.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Suzuki Natsume: Probably to you. She can generally handle herself. So she's most likely waiting until she knows whatever it is is for sure something she's either got a lid on or very very doesn't have a lid on, and whenever she determines that is when she'll let you in the rest of the way. Which of those it is will inform how she tells you and how much of an emergency it'll be, but there's no point in worrying about it. All you can really do when she gets like this is prepare for the worst but hope for the best.
- TXT from Suzuki Natsume: I see. ...I'll keep that in mind. I'll continue preparing then.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Suzuki Natsume: Yes good. And if whatever it is turns out to be something you need help with -- or evac for -- please do not hesitate to call me in.
- TXT from Suzuki Natsume: Of course. Have you heard much back on arranging people for two days from now?
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Suzuki Natsume: Yes. There'll be at least two there, but potentially three, and if I'm not doing anything else I should be able to take care of a fair amount.
- TXT from Suzuki Natsume: Okay. I think the team already going in will probably be alright, but it's always good to have more people and people there to ensure that everyone gets out alive.
- Mamoru Chiba TXT to Suzuki Natsume: Good. We'll be waiting for when you get back. No sense in you also having to protect the healers.
