Rei Hino is a teenage girl with long black hair and black eyes, and a student at a private school, as well as working as a miko at the Hikawa Shrine, and is known for her ability to make startlingly accurate predictions. Her grandfather is the head priest of the shrine and raises her, in place of her mother who died when Rei was young and her father who is very distant.
