The world gives rise every once in awhile to those destined for greatness. Sometimes though, it gives rise to little seeds that aren't all that great. But time pushes them forth from the soil into brilliant red roses, and that is truly wonderful. Whenever the game she and her best-friend Reiko, alongside their other friends and even her little sister, came to life, the pressure of defending colour made one such diamond. A rose grown from a game is just as sweet.

Not excelling in any one area, she is known for her high energy level and boundless creativity -- things that do not help her focus much in class. Shes friendly, cheerful, and outgoing, but still sometimes finds herself bullied for her childish love of magical girl anime. Still, Mei enjoys a small, tight-knit group of friends that she acts out her stories with, her favorite of which is the story of the Prism Keepers, a group of magical girls who protect the world from the evils of boring grey! Who would have guessed that dark powers would be inspired by the villains she created? Or that she would actually become her imaginary alter ego, Prism Keeper Red? Now the poor figuring out why her mother has suddenly disappeared.
