Seer and astrologer, mystic and astronomer: Nephrite, the second oldest of the Shitennou, befriended the very stars in the past. Formal and passionate, he was always a better strategist than tactician. Along with his fellow Generals of the Dark Kingdom, he was reborn to serve and guard the reincarnated Prince of the Earth, as the Senshi guard the Moon Princess. However, the sins of their past lives interfered with their destiny, and Queen Beryl repurposed them to serve the Dark Kingdom in its ancient battle against the Moon. In the present day, the conversations he has with the stars are dark, his brooding anger coloring every prophecy and every path, and every question he asks of them serves only to fulfill the needs of the Dark Kingdom.
