Date of Scene: | 21 July 2015 |
Location: | Earth Court Frat House |
Synopsis: | In which the study group scrapes Mamoru off the ground. Oops. |
Cast of Characters: | Suzuki Natsume, Mamoru Chiba, Shiori Sato |
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
There was such bright light, incandescent gold, off the beaten path and sustained. No sound, no screaming or shouting, no explosions, nothing like the emergencies Shiori's been on the periphery of a couple of times. But the light was so brilliant it threw the nighttime park into daytime colors the closer one got, shining like sunlight through the greenery, backlighting foliage.
Closer still once the light goes out, and there are indistinct, murmured words.
Then silence.
If Shiori should continue forward toward where the light had been, everything is stillness and calm, and the grass and leaf-covered ground is warm, and the trees hum with life, and the little bit of wildness that lives captive in the city is holding its breath and praying in verdant silence.
On the ground, lain carefully there, there's a very tall boy in extremely fine clothes: a white tie and tails ensemble, white gloves, a silk cape pooled around him, a neck badge reminiscent of that of the Knights Hospitaller, an instantly recognisable antique gold pocketwatch in the shape of a sun-- and a glimmering white mask that looks as insubstantial as moonlight, almost just an outline.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Well, that's one heck of a lightshow. Fact it startled Shiori once it began, and darn near blinded him! Part of him wonders about the wisdom of a shortcut through the park tonight! But ignoring that part of his brain that talks sense is something teenagers do anyway. So when curiosity and caution battle? Curiosity wins out. Still, he's not stupid enough to try and approach 'till after the light is gone and everything's quiet. If there are aliens back there he doesn't want to get abducted or anything.
Eventually though, he'll head through to where the light was. Or at least, where he thinks it was. And suddenly, person! On the ground! Did the aliens leave this guy? Is he dead? Concern wins out over caution this time, and THAT battle is a little less pitched; it looks like someone needs help.
Shiori approaches the unconscious man slowly, intending to check on him. Does he know this guy? He looks a little familiar, but he just can't place where he's seen the guy...
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
The guy is super familiar: it's that foreign prince from the ill-fated masquerade ball. And that cape is also pretty familiar, there was that black and red silk flashing through the smoke and dust and debris during the explosion-- the guy who got blown off the balcony after Shiori danced with Sailor V was wearing it...
...but the masquerade was then; this guy's wearing a mask /now/. He's perfectly still and silent, unmoving; there don't seem to be any aliens around, either. The ground is almost cradling him, and the foliage leans in: if Shiori hadn't seen that light, there's no way anyone would have seen this guy from the path. And then--
--then the mask fades, the tuxedo and the cape, the gloves. There's a dim gold glow, but it could be a trick of the light. The forest is so still, it's unreal and dreamlike. But that's definitely Mamoru Chiba, in his school uniform and glasses, hair mussed and face pale, book in his school jacket pocket.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Oh man... that foreign prince from the masquerade ball! What happened and why is he lying on the ground?! Did someone attack him? Not too far a stretch to make, particularly if he's got money. But wouldn't they have taken him with them? Ransomed him back to his country or something? Or heck, killed him and made it look like Japan did it so the prince's country would start a war?
Yeah, it /is/ surreal, even before the glowing starts. So much that Shiori actually begins to wonder if he's dreaming or not. Did he fall asleep at school? Has he made it home and went to bed a long time ago and is just dreaming he took a shortcut through the park? No, that doesn't sound right. He looks up to a sign, pays careful attention to the writing. Yeah, he can read it. So he's not dreaming, because he can't read words in his dreams.
Then Shiori looks back to the 'prince', frowning as the finery begins to disappear... and his eyes go wide behind his glasses once it does. There is a moment of utter shock, and he remains stock-still. And then suddenly caution is gone. Immediately he moves to kneel on the ground near to Mamoru to check on him.
The implications of what just happened are glaring. Mamoru was the foreign prince at the masquerade? Mamoru's a prince? That would explain a lot about his mannerisms, actually. Speaking of those mannerisms, Shiori's about to have to disobey one of Mamoru's taboos-- he's gonna have to check for a pulse. Which he does without hesitating.
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Mamoru would laugh if he knew Shiori thought he was a prince. So would a lot of people. Probably not a select few. As it is, though, it's not hard to believe: fine features and something like regal composure even passed out on the ground.
There's no apparent physical damage, no copper scent of blood in the air, no bruises or abrasions, not even tears or smudges in his clothes. He's just an unhealthy greyish-white, clammy and still, hair damp and sticking to his forehead a little -- and that lingering faint glow, like phosphorescent rocks deep in sunless caves, gone if viewed directly.
It's when Shiori reaches to take his pulse, bare fingers touching chilly, sweaty skin, that the reason for the taboo becomes clear:
FLASH
soaring through the air with a shivering, incoherent bundle of girl bundled in arms held close to the chest
FLASH
ice freezing the heart and sapping strength and energy and power, unimaginable searing cold agony
FLASH
a girl made of moonlight, luminescent, standing at the top of a set of wide white stone stairs with such long, long hair, crystal silver tears running down her indistinct face and reaching, reaching
FLASH
fire everywhere and the clang of steel against steel, smoke in the air and screams in the background, running with a small and delicate hand clasped tightly in that of the point of view
FLASH
colors too real to be true, a sunny day with air too clean, too pure and new, laughter and love and companionship, drinks around an unfamiliar board game
FLASH
a cold dark bedroom, small, with walls of study and determination keeping out the constant encroaching loneliness
FLASH
Sailor Moon, facing down an enemy with righteous anger-- then softening and offering an embrace to that same enemy, a sense of wonder
FLASH
unthinkable agony and steely resolve, relief and despair, the feeling of a sword through the chest and falling--
FLASH
The visions, the sensations, only stop when the contact does.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Falling? That's appropriate. Shiori doesn't even realize he's tipped back until his behind hits the ground and the contact with Mamoru is broken. The world solidifies around him again, and he just /stares/ at Mamoru. What... was that?! Now he understands why Mamoru doesn't like people touching him! Regardless, he needs to try to wake him up!
Shiori shifts to kneel again, and hesitantly places a hand on Mamoru's arm. The part covered by his uniform, mind. And he gently shakes the other boy's arm. "Chiba-san? Chiba-san, wake up. Are you okay?" He feels kind of stupid asking that-- of course he isn't! But without knowing what's wrong with him, all Shiori can do is try to wake him up.
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
The other boy doesn't wake up, but he stirs slightly -- and the glow's increased slightly; the rise and fall of his chest is visible, and though it's hard to tell in the moonlight and distant park path lights, his color's improving slowly. He murmurs something indistinct.
At least he's alive.
Maybe there are contacts in his phone-- if this sort of thing happens to him often, as his various levels of disrepair at different study sessions may, in hindsight, seem to indicate is the case-- it's possible there's someone who can be called or texted that knows how to handle him. Or who can carry him.
Or maybe that's an even worse idea, and Shiori should drag him to where he can call a cab and pretend Mamoru's just dead drunk. The last round of finals are in the morning, after all, and despairing delinquent high school students sometimes have a tendency to decide if they're out sick they can have more time to study.
There's just always that danger of accidental touch...
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Shiori had winced for another round of images... but then was relieved when none came. Good. So it's direct skin contact that does it, not ANY contact at all. That's a relief. Otherwise that would make this whole thing REALLY difficult.
Okay. So. He's alive. That's a relief. But he can't just stay here until he wakes up. Someone might see! And that's not something he wants to explain to the authorities-- why he was found over an unconscious teenager? God, the gossip would be ALL OVER THE PLACE!
So... what to do? Mamoru has to have people he knows. And he has to have their phone number. That's right, the study group! So Shiori goes looking for a phone! he's got to be careful not to touch Mamoru, though... he doesn't want another one of those flashback things. They hurt.
Eventually, a phone will be found. Shiori doesn't know the people in the list. But he picks one at random; if Mamoru has these people in his phone, he'll know them. He ends up picking 'Storm Knight'. He pushes the dial button and waits for the person on the other end to pick up.
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
A call from an unknown number, though caller ID said 'Tuxedo Mask'. Suzuki Natsume had been studying german once more. But that call... she lifts her cell phone and flips it open, hitting the accept call button. "Hello? Is everything alright?" Is the response of the girl on the other side of the phone. Her voice was soft, but to the point.
And she seemed mildly concerned. This is likely due to the fact that it was Tuxedo Kamen instead of Mamoru calling her. And that meant... well, there might be an emergency. The sounds of hasty closing of books and putting things away could probably be heard in the background, and something or other said with a german accent, but it was too indirect to make out beyond that.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
There's silence on the other end for a moment as Shiori tries to figure out what to say. Then finally...
"Eeto..."
...That is not Tuxedo Mask. The voice is too high.
"I... found him unconscious, and your number was in his phone, so I thought that... that I should call somebody, but I didn't want to call an ambulance..."
He's rambling. Which makes sense; he's confused, nervous, and a little scared, if his voice is any indication. That voice might also be familiar, too-- remember the bland kid from the study group? The one from Seiyou, with the glasses and the dusty brown hair and eyes? That's him.
"S-so... what should I do?"
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
That was not Tuxedo Kamen's voice. Nor was it Mamoru Chiba's. That also... hmm. That voice was vaguely familiar, as well, though that day had been... confusing and strange. She takes a small breath, before she responds, "This is Storm Knight, then. Where are you?" The voice responds. That german was audible again, possibly attempting to be helpful. Unfortunately, Storm Knight didn't understand that. There was sounds of a door opening and closing, some brief questioning in the background, but the sound of another door opening and closing quickly could also be heard. "If he has any profuse bleeding, it may be important to put pressure on it, but make sure that there's nothing broken. If he's largely uninjured, you can just wait for me to show up."
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Shiori nods, and gives the location. "I was taking a shortcut through the park and found him," he responds. His voice seems calmer and less nervous now that he's heard help is coming. "He looks fine, just... really pale and clammy. He's unconscious right now but I don't see any injuries or anything. I tried to check for a pulse, but that... seems like a bad idea. He's alive, though; I shook him and he moved around a little."
If Storm Knight knows about that particular little, uh... quirk of Mamoru's, she's likely to know what just happened.
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"Pale and clammy? And he's unconscious. Alright." Storm Knight pauses. That seems like a bad idea? "You touched him without something covering your hands then. I can see how it would be difficult." Storm Knight says. "I'll be there shortly, however my travel method isn't very compatible with a phone being on, so I will have to hang up." There's then a simple 'beep-booooooooo' of the phone being hung up.
The reason why she had hung up would likely be shortly visible. Shiori only had to wait a few minutes... before suddenly, lightning seemed to be streaking along the ground, zipping its way through the park to Shiori's location. At first, he might think it's some form of attack, as it's coming straight for him! ... However, the lightning would disperse, as Storm Knight stopped nearby. The only negative effects would possibly be a bit of static electricity making the hair on the back of his neck stand up. But even that would discharge quickly. "...I apologize if I spooked you." Storm Knight says, bowing her head lightly.
She then immediately would step towards Mamoru's unconscious form, reaching her hand to rest on his neck and check his pulse. Luckily for her, she wore gloves, so she could touch him much more easily. "How long has he been here? Did you just find him a few minutes before you called me? Was he like this when you arrived, or did he arrive after you?" Storm Knight says, lifting her hand up to unclasp the shawl covering her shoulders, reaching to begin to wrap it around Mamoru as best as she could.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
The phone is hung up, and Shiori carefully returns it to the pocket he found it in. he sighs. "See, there we go." He's talking to Mamoru, though he's pretty sure Mamoru can't hear him. "Someone's coming to help." He hopes. "Everything'll be all right." He hopes. Shiori waits for the arrival of whomever he just called, and just hopes he hasn't made a huge mistake!
Suddenly LIGHTNING! He sees it and his eyes go wide behind his glasses again. He moves to pritect Mamoru from the incoming lightning as best as he can, when it turns into a girl! Pause. Blink. Oh. Well, then.
He sits back, to allow the girl in the white dress see to Mamoru. She's asking questions, and he answers them as best as he can. "I'm not sure what happened to him. I was walking through there--" He points to where he was coming into the park at. "--And saw this really bright light. I didn't know what it was, but I went to check, and here he was, unconscious on the ground."
Shiori pauses, deciding he doesn't want to tell her about the disappearing outfit. If she knows, he wouldn't have to. And if she doesn't, well, then he won't spill the beans! "It was just a few minutes, I think. I'm not sure how much time passed after I tried to check his pulse. Something... weird happened, I'm not sure what. But it couldn't have been very long, though."
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
His pulse is fast, that means that whatever happened had been recent. His breathing was also normalizing, and the glow was fading. He seemed pale and clammy though. She began to look over Mamoru carefully, searching for any signs of injury, since her gloves let her test more of Mamoru than Shiori necessarily could. "It's very important that you keep anything you saw regarding him quiet to anyone but possibly him." Storm says, nodding slightly towards Mamoru. She shifts slightly, looking up towards Shiori quietly. A really bright light, hmm.
Unfortunately, Storm Knight is bad at detecting lies, so she just took him at face value. "You possibly witnessed the tail end of a fight, or a teleportation spell." Storm Knight says honestly towards Shiori, straightening up. She looks towards Shiori carefully for a few moments. that pause, he was thinking on saying something. "His pulse is still fast, which means that adrenaline is likely still in his system; which means it happened recently -- whatever it was. Thank you for calling so quickly." She says, slowly standing up. "...Though I think you had something else you hesitated on saying; any more detail you can offer is important." Storm Knight says, beginning to carefully lift Mamoru into her arms, ensuring that her bare flesh isn't touching any of his bare flesh, making use of her shawl to aid in that.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Shiori nods. "Yeah, I-- th-the circumstances of how I found him, that sorta tells me it's not something that needs to be spread around," he agrees. He fidgets a little, raising a hand to rub at the back of his own head. Fights? Teleportation?! Dear God, what did he just get mixed up in?! He looks like he wants to say something but doesn't.
Not, that is, until Storm Knight speaks up again. Shiori stands when she does. And then looks sheepish at her words. Mamoru wouldn't have this person's name in his phone if he didn't trust her, right? So she can be trusted, can't she? God, he hopes so. "He was... in a tuxedo. And a mask," he finally says. "I didn't recognize him at first. And then it just... disappeared, poof. And then he's like this."
Sounds like he saw Mamoru un-henshin. So he knows.
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
That was a very sensible response, and it got an approving nod towards Shiori, a slight smile on Storm Knight's lips. "Good, you understand then." She murmurs softly, watching his reactions and listening. From the looks of things, he wasn't already involved in things. "...It may be good to forget what you saw today, though I don't imagine that will be easy."
She takes a small breath, shaking her head a bit as he mentions the loss of his transformation. "I see, so you saw that... you don't have to worry about him, he's not a bad person. It's important that you keep /that/ a secret, however, as there may be bad people who might want to take advantage of knowing who he is when he doesn't have the tuxedo and mask on." Storm Knight says softly, carefully lifting Mamoru and getting him situated in her arms. "I'm going to take him somewhere safe, I suggest you get away from here as well, as there's a chance other people may have seen the light, and answering questions for this situation would be difficult."
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Shiori nods. "Yeah, I figured." Pause. Forget? "That's... not likely, I admit. My bad luck, I'm sorry. I'm not sorry I was here, though. Getting him away form here while he's like this is important. But I won't say anything to anybody, I promise."
He pauses. Rubs his head again. "I think I know what the answer's gonna be, but I'll ask anyway," Shiori start. "Mind if I come with you? Or give me an address or something I can meet you? I want to make sure he's gonna be okay. And it's not like I'll be able to ask him at school tomorrow, because we don't go to the same school. Or the study group, because I have a feeling he's not gonna be there, you know?"
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...I figured that would be an unreasonable request." Storm Knight says softly, heaving a soft sigh. "...I only recently ended up in this, myself. I can't really explain much to you, or I would. But unless you have some power of your own, it's best to try not to get involved unless you have to." Storm Knight insists, offering a small bow of her head towards Shiori.
"...I, uhm. I'm just planning on taking him home, to be honest. He seems like he needs rest more than anything, at the moment." Storm Knight says, her tone taking on a slightly sheepish edge. She also was recognizing Shiori, so she was sure that he knew where Mamoru's home was. However, her saying that would bring up questions she doesn't want to know. "I'm not sure if I should give you his address without his permission though."
Really, that was a reasonable response and one that she would give normally, even if she knows Shiori probably already has it! She takes a small breath as she begins to carefully walk. "I, uhm. We'll meet again, I'm sure. I've seen you around town once or twice, so we seem to live in the same general area." Storm Knight. What are you doing. That's too much information! "... In fact, I think I've seen you in the same school uniform." And that's a good way to make him paranoid and start trying to find you.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Shiori nods. "I think I get it. Like the superheroes in American comics, right?" Yes, apparently Shiori reads American comics. "Hiding the secret identity so people close to the hero can't be targeted by the villains, that kind of thing, right?" He gets that.
Then she notes where she's planning on taking him, and Shiori brightens. "Oh! I know where he lives," he replies. "I can meet you there later. Because I think you can do that lightning thing faster than I can get there." He hadn't planned on taking a taxi, but hey, he's got the spare cash!
He pauses as Storm Knight mentions she's seen him in his school uniform. Could that mean she's a Seiyou student too? She looks young enough. Who could she be? "Oh. R-right. Thank you, I'm not sure that I could have handled this alone."
He is planning on going to Mamoru's house. Because he wants to make sure he /does/ get home.
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...I guess?" Storm Knight responds, giving a helpless shrug. "Or something like Kamen Glider or something along those lines though, I think..." She may or may not have butchered that on accident due to having been too busy with her training growing up to watch TV. "...Basically, though, yes." She nods slightly to herself. "That and to protect him from sneak attacks."
And then he mentions the lightning thing. She looks down at Mamoru, and then back at Shiori. "...I was probably just going to run and jump there, I uhm. I'm not ... actually sure if I can do that with anyone else." She hadn't tried it just yet, to be honest. "...I wouldn't want to accidentally electrocute him." Yep. She's totally a supernoob.
"...I'm sure you could have handled this alone, if nobody had responded, I'm sure you could have called an ambulance and told them that you found him unconscious in the park. They might not even ask many questions to you. This will be less expensive for him though, hospital bills pile up." She murmurs. "Regardless, I'll probably still beat you there, so... I guess I'll see you later?" She says. And then... she proceeds to defy physics by taking a higher-than-should-be-possible jump in the vague direction of Mamoru's house. Because, you know. Why not freak out the normal person even more.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
"That too," Shiori notes, to the mention of sneak attack. "Sucks to get caught with your pants down. Figuratively or literally."
...Oh geez, Shiori. Could you NOT?!
Well, Storm knight has more experience with powers than Shiori does. Because he uh. Actually doesn't have any powers! So he nods when she mentions jumping instead of doing the lightning bolt thing. "Makes sense," he agrees.
Honestly, after seeing Mamoru appear from a tuxedo-wearing prince in a bright light and then seeing a girl appear in a lightning bolt? The flavor of the evening seems to be 'reality? WHAT REALITY?'. As such, when Storm Knight jumps, he just steps back to avoid being in her way. However, when she's out of sight, Shiori heads for the street, cell phone coming out of his pocket to call a taxi service. He's got a friend's house to get to!
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...Yes, pretty much." Storm Knight responds a bit awkwardly. Getting caught with her pants down sounded ... awkward. That and she usually was wearing a kimono or her school uniform. Both of which lacked pants.
Regardless, soon enough, Storm Knight was at Mamoru's apartment... probably only slightly ahead of Shiori, due to the fact that she was fast -- but not faster than a car. At least, not when just running and jumping. And she didn't have to wait, so she had a headstart. She carefully made her way into Mamoru's room through the balcony, breaking and entering carefully so that she could deposit Mamoru in his bed.
After ensuring Mamoru was properly in bed and making sure he didn't have a fever or something, Storm Knight was standing at the doorway, trying to think on what the /heck/ to say to Shiori. Because she was still new at this, too! She'd only really interacted with most of the other magical people indirectly, even!
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Basically, carrying the guy like that means more or less a really lanky sack of potatoes. However-- however!! He does heal fast; he's been witnessed by the both of them up and around well before he should be after rumors or explosions. It's while Suzuki's waiting for Shiori to come up the elevator to the penthouse that the upperclassman starts to stir. Change of surroundings; carried, warmed; familiar bed.
It's probably his own ridiculously developed awareness combined with general situational caution that forces him up through what honestly should be turning into real sleep into wakefulness, and Suzuki's Device probably notices his sudden tension well before anything else--
--because that's about when Shiori's getting to the door from the tiny elevator lobby outside.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Shiori was visibly nervous in the taxi, tapping his foot on the floorboards. And he didn't have the driver drop him off AT Mamoru's house. Just in the general area. So not only would he have to wait for the taxi to arrive, but he'd have to walk from where he'd been dropped off. Probably with a few detours to make sure no one was following him. SPY STUFF! Geez, his heart's beating so fast. He's nervous, and the half-walk, half-run he's doing isn't helping any!
He'll get there eventually! He'll be out of breath, but he'll get there! Will he get to knock on the door before Storm Knight opens it? If so he will. If there's a peephole in the door, she can look and see him. He looks a little disheveled, but it's definitely him.
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
While her device is aware of the change, and notices it... well, it pings at her! Which gets her attention. It was enough to get her to glance towards Mamoru, just out of reflex. Just enough to see a very slight stirring. She watches him silently for a few moments, before she speaks softly, "You're at your home. You're in bed. I took you home, Mamoru." Storm Knight says, hoping to help calm him down. "The person who found you is on the way here. He saw you lose your henshin." That's a good way to help calm him down, really.
She takes a smapp breath, before she makes her way towards the doorway when the door is knocked on. She steps over to open the door. Inviting someone into Mamoru's apartment. That was the best idea, really. But still, it was important to do. I mean... Mamoru might want to say something to Shiori or something along those lines! She takes a small breath as she motions him to come in. "Alright, well, uh. ... ...I have no idea what to say, to be completely and utterly honest."
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Kuso," mumbles Mamoru from the bedroom, and in the background of Shiori getting there, the stirring turns into for-real dragging self out of bed. And dragging it is. He shuffles to the bedroom door like a zombie, then leans heavily on the doorframe. His face still looks a little greyish, pinched and exhausted, and there are leaf bits still here and there clinging to the fabric of his uniform.
And then he sees who Storm Knight is letting in, and he closes his eyes and leans his head against the jamb, too. "Yo," he says, and it sounds more like a sigh. "Please don't tell me I made your life morecomplicated. I mean-- thank you. You won't tell anyone, will you?" A pause. He starts pushing himself more upright, saying something under his breath about tea and proper hosting.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Shiori offers a friendly smile when the door opens. Her statement gets a sheepish look. "Yeah... kind of an odd situation, I know," he agrees as he heads into the apartment, closing the door behind him. He figures she put Mamoru on the bed to rest, but it's kind of rude to go tromping through someone's house looking for the bedroom when they TECHNICALLY didn't invite you.
Especially when you STILL HAVE YOUR SHOES ON YOU BARBARIAN! Which he makes to rectify as soon as he noticed. Whoops! Not to worry, he didn't track anything into the apartment. The place looks way too clean for that.
And then Mamoru seems to be up now, and Shiori looks up, surprised. "Oh! Hi there! Are you sure you should be walking around right now? You were pretty out of it..." The question of telling anybody? Shiori shakes his head. "Nope! Won't say a word." He raises a hand to rub at the back of his head. "I mean... it's not like I really know what's going on anyway. Just... Chiba-san's magical somehow." Pause. "...Wait, that didn't come out right..."
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"...You will sit down and rest, preferably go back to bed." Storm says simply towards Mamoru. She hadn't expected him to be /up and about/. She shakes her head very slightly. "If you really want tea made, I'll make it." Storm Knight says firmly towards Mamoru, frowning slightly. "I'm surprised that you're even conscious already."
She looks towards Shiori as he speaks, before she gives a soft chuckle, "It's... it's honestly mostly because I'm still new to this myself, I've never had to explain it to someone who ... I don't... really think that is aware of things yet." She rubs the back of her head nervously. She coudln't even take /off/ her shoes, so she wasn't one to complain. But she was wearing magical clothing. They didn't trak crap.
"...As he said, you should really sit down or at least sleep." Storm Knight says, looking towards Mamoru. She takes a soft breath, "...He told me that as well, and I'm going to opt to believe him." She says, looking back towards Shiori. "...That said, it might be good for us to take our leave and let Mamoru rest." She murmurs quietly.
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Mf?" sort-of asks Mamoru, finally giving in to the urge to rub at his eyes. "Oh. Okay," he says with some relief, and turns to schlep back to bed, starting to close the door behind him, then pausing. "Uh-- goodnight. Thank you. Owe you guys," he adds, then closes the door. There are very un-Mamoru-like rekt shufflings, and then literally the sound of him falling on to his bed.
He's probably already asleep.
Whatever happened-- he was probably only awake so fast because Tuxedo Mask, really. Magical somehow. Either way, he's certainly reassured enough to konk out with people still in his apartment.
- Shiori Sato has posed:
Shiori nods to Storm Knight's suggestions. "Probably a good idea, yeah," he says. He's really loathe to just let Mamoru sleep just like that-- what if he had a concussion or something?-- but that's probably the least awkward option at this point. Mamoru's words get a smile. "Don't worry about it, man. I consider you a friend, and I've have been a horrible friend if I didn't help."
As Mamoru heads back to bed, Shiori heads for where his shoes are. He puts his shoes on, looking to Storm knight. "Thanks again, I'll call him tomorrow and see if he's all right."
Whatever way Storm Knight makes her exit, Shiori makes his through the front door. And makes sure it's locked. Wouldn't do to have someone sneaking in on Mamoru while he's passed out. Because SOMEONE put him in that state...
