Previously known as a shy and nervous loner, Homura used her wish to become a Puella Magi in hopes of preventing a tragedy from destroying her best friend Madoka Kaname. Having endured countless setbacks and failures in pursuit of this goal, Homura has become coldly distant to nearly everyone. An enigma to most, she sometimes seems cruel or uncaring... yet occasionally helps people at unexpected times. While still able to briefly freeze time, Homura is now unable to 'rewind' time due to Sailor Pluto's interference, leaving Homura with only one last chance to save her friend.
