Orphaned at six and left with no memory of his identity or family, wealthy heir Mamoru Chiba grew up in orphanages, lacking nothing but love, until he reached the age at which he could gain legal emancipation. From the time he was small, he dreamt of a beautiful princess who comforted his loneliness, but sometime late in his first year of high school, she began begging him to find the Phantom Silver Crystal and promising if he did, he would remember his past. It wasn't long afterwards that he began waking up in strange places, jewelry stores and museums, dressed in formalwear and a mask and cape, like some kind of thief in a tuxedo. Whatever he does, though, he's determined to protect that princess and give her all she asks of him.
