Tea With Lindy | |

Date of Scene: | 09 January 2016 |
Location: | Uminari City - Juuban Avenue - North |
Synopsis: | Nanoha, Mikoto, and Suzuki have big questions for Lindy. |
Cast of Characters: | 37, Nanoha Takamachi, Mikoto Nakajima, Suzuki Natsume |
- Mint Ship has posed:
Since the night before, a few people had left messages to meet with Lindy-san - Lindy Harlaown, the green-haired once-captain of the Artha, and now the de-facto leader of the stranded TSAB forces on Earth - or at least those which still accepted any kind of authority structure.
After some talks with Tadase, Tsukasa, and Chrono, she decided to meet with them in small groups - in small teahouses and shops around the Three Wards. This being the first of such meetings, messages were sent, and Lindy sits (in her somewhat out of place TSAB uniform), waiting for a few of them to arrive.
While Lindy is NEVER undefended by virtue of her own talent, as his insistence, Chrono is at least nearby. But she wants to be as forthright and nonthreatening as she can be - smiling and doing what she can.
- Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
"It's time to go meet Lindy-san!" says Nanoha. And then Yuuno gets uncermoniously dumped into her front pocket and he peeks riding along as Nanoha takes the bus to the teahouse. "Nanoha, why aren't you flying there?" wonders the ferret. Nanoha answers. "Because that'd be silly, you don't fly to a teahouse!" she smiles.
Yuuno merely headtilts.
She is, however, not late- or tardy- nope she's on time! She walks in and looks around. She has no idea who or what Lindy-san looks like. Yuuno peeks out---then sort of thwips up along Nanoha's outfit to her shoulder and he whispers and points to Lindy. Yuuno knows what a TSAB uniform looks like, at least.
Nanoha brightens up a bit and smiles. "Lindy-san...?" she asks. "I'm Nanoha Takamachi!" she says. The ferret on her shoulder doesn't talk yet. Mainly because he's actually waiting for an answer- unlike Nanoha who's allll too happy to introduce herself without an issue or thought!
- Mikoto Nakajima has posed:
Mikoto has been anticipating this meeting for some time. Part of her worries about it, since it carries implicit acceptance of what she's known but declined to accept: the absence of Belka from the dimensional sea. But that part of her is still fairly quiet, a voice in the back of her head that tells her to hold up the ideals of the Grey Rose Knights, and to strive for the Sankt-Kaiser's glory.
It's this voice that tempted her to show up to the meeting in the Order's full regalia. But she's changed her mind, it's a step too far, right now. Too blatant, too open. Instead she arrives wearing a professional-looking suit, the jacket's lapel adorned with a small pin depicting a silver rose, set over a black and white taijitu - closely resembling the Order's seal.
She arrives precisely at the appointed time, and offers Nanoha a nod as she walks into the teahouse. "Good afternoon, Takamachi-san. Thank you for your goodwill yesterday."
And there's the woman in uniform. She waits while Nanoha introduces herself, then bows slightly. "Hello, Lindy-san. Thank you for taking the time to meet with us today." That little voice in her head may not like what the existence of the TSAB implies. That doesn't mean she can't be polite.
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Storm Knight arrives at the aforementioned place! ... Except she's not Storm Knight right now. Instead, she's the much less imposing, but still tall, Suzuki Natsume. She made her way into the teahouse, looking for the woman who she'd come to meet.
There was Nanoha. And there was Mikoto. She wasn't entirely certain she wanted them to know who she was outside of her henshin. Hmm. She shifts slightly, ugh. Hmmmmm. After a few moments, she did approach quietly. She makes her way towards the three (four, though she's not immediately aware of Chrono). She bows her head lightly towards Nanoha, and then towards Mikoto. "...Good evening, Takamachi-san, Nakajima-san. I am Suzuki Natsume. I was there last night." She says, a clue as to who she was without outright saying it.
She lifts her gaze back towards Lindy, dipping into a polite bow towards her. "Hello, Lindy-san. It is a pleasure to meet you." She murmurs. "May I sit?"
- Mint Ship has posed:
Lindy inclines her head at Nanoha - and at the little ferret who's with her. "Yes, I am Admiral Lindy Harlaown." she confirms, sticking out a hand for Nanoha to shake - afterwords, she'll also try to shake Yuuno's paw. "Hello, Takamachi-san.
When Mikoto and Suzuki arrive, she repeats the ritual - introducing herself by name and title and reaching to shake hands. Repeating thier names back, Natume-san and 'Knight-san' in absence of a name.
"Please, sit, all of you."She leans back, and a server comes around, setting out teacups, and pours them each a full teacup. "Now, it's my understanding that you wished to speak with me?" Lindy asks. Unlike Tsukasa, Lindy is mostly business - even if she endeavors to do that buisiness with a polite smile. Recruiting is for others though, unless it can serve a purpose directly for Virtue in the moment.
- Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi sits down politely as she smiles to Mikoto and Storm Knight. "Hello, Mikoto-san! Hello, Matsume-san!" she says cheerfully as she head tilts at Mikoto. "Well... everything is okay now. Right?" she asks. "I hope that boy is okay..." she says thoughtfully. She peers back to Lindy and smiles. "That's a lot of names!" she says wide eyed. Yuuno sort of face palms- but accepts the shaken paw. "I am Yuuno Scrya." he says. "I'm an archeologist. May I ask what the TSAB's mission is here? I'm a little lost on the details here- though intensely happy to run into you."
Nanoha pipes up! "Oh! Right-- the Jewel Seeds. We never got to... talk about those..." she says as she looks down at the cup of tea. She's waiting for it to cool. It's much too hot for her.
"Are you here about those? Yuuno thought the TSAB might be here looking for him..." she asides. "I mean. In a good way! He was supposed to be delivering... these things. And got stuck here."
- Mikoto Nakajima has posed:
Mikoto nods slightly to Nanoha, taking her seat. "Indeed," she murmurs. "I am Mikoto Nakajima, known to some in this city as 'Miss Blue'." She folds her hands on the table before her as she speaks. "I am sure Ikuto-kun will be fine, Takamachi-san, his wounds were mostly healed when he left... and despite their words, Hotori-san and his friends do seem to care for him."
She listens to Yuuno introduce himself, and then Nanoha brings up the Jewel Seeds. "That was what I wanted to talk to both of you about, yes. What they are, where they come from, how many might be here, and why that other girl was hunting for them."
"I myself am curious about this 'TSAB' and its mission in general, not merely in relation to this planet. Where are you from? Have you made any official contact with the governments here? Why have we not heard of you before this?"
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
"It's a pleasure to meet you, again, Harlaown-san." Suzuki says, carefully moving to take a seat, aiming to sit across from her semi-reflexively. It made it easy to look towards her face when they talked. "Yes. We wanted to learn what we could about the Jewel Seeds -- if you know anything -- as well as possibly a few other things. It's troubling how desperate someone is for something that appears to just be an unstable and dangerous artifact." Suzuki says softly.
She lifts her hand, resting it on the table. "Verdrehen Sturm."
<FREISETZUNG.>
The hand resting on the table emits a brief, subtle sheen as her dormant Device releases the storage of the Jewel Seed. Which rests on the table. Though Suzuki takes hold of it almost immediately so it's not just sitting on the table.
Once the tea is poured, Suzuki reaches to take a couple of spoonfuls of sugar and add it to her tea, before lifting it up to take a small sip. She falls silently thoughtful, "...Also, I have hold of a Belkan-Style Device, and am improperly trained in its use. I would like to potentially arrange some form of training so that it is less dangerous for me to make use of it." Suzuki says softly towards Lindy.
Nanoha gets a small smile towards her, giving a small nod towards her. "I am also known as the Knight of Rolling Storms, or Storm Knight." She adds softly. She shifts her gaze towards Yuuno... and reaches a hand to attempt to lightly pet him. She is weak to cute things. She would pull her hand away quickly if he showed any discomfort. "...I'm actually curious of the same things as Nakajima-san." She adds quietly.
- Mint Ship has posed:
Lindy sighs. It's a heavy sigh, a deep sigh, one that coincides with the loss of life and, in a big way, liberty that came. "We were here on a test run. We were testing a theory - that the distortion field that flowed around this planet could be avoided by using a subspace technology to move through it." She looks down at her tea. "It didn't work. My ship, the Arthra, was torn apart by the strange currents around this world. Peices of it are still falling. People are still coming out of phase. We don't know how many remain to fall out of subspace, or how many we lost forever." she says, solemnly. "There is no TSAB here. We have no connection to the rest of the command structure. I'm as high up as it goes."
"It's not surprising you ended up trapped here too, Scrya-san. Something about this world - and this part of it in particular - draws things here, especially magical things. It's why peices of the Arthra never end up anywhere but this city. We didn't even break up over this side of the planet. If the jewel seeds have fallen here, we need to secure them." She's very matter-of-fact about this.
"They're incredibly dangerous sources of power. Peices of something else - together they are even more dangerous than they are individually. We can't let any of them fall into the wrong hands. Much less all of them.
"Our mission on this planet is to survive and do as much good as we can. Until we can contact our headquarters, that's all we can do. Right now, we work with Virtue to try to be a positive influence while we're stranded here. I personally hail from Mid-Childa, capital of the TSAB, but we draw recruits from many worlds under our jurisditction. I don't have the authority to make contact on the TSAB's behalf. Anything else is... I'm sorry, not something I should be sharing right now."
"I'm afraid I don't have any experience with Belakn technology, Natsume-san. I might be able to see if anyone in Virtue does, but most of the artifacts like that we were carrying were not used, they were merely being transported."
When Lindy sees the jewel seed, she doesn't reach for it. All she does is observe. "There have been tales going back into ancient history about the power of the Jewel Seeds, and the depths to which people of all stripes would go to attempt to control it. It always ends in disaster."
- Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Yuuno nods matter of factly as if mirroring Lindy's concerns- though he seems disheartend. So. They're stuck and stranded here. Well. Maybe that means- the Jewel Seeds are confined here too then for the moment--- wait- why is he trying to find a silver lining in this!?
"I'm sad to hear that- Admiral." he admits. He looks a little down. Then Suzuki begins petting and his foot thumps. Just a little. Then he stops looking as down- albeit, still a little sad.
Nanoha nods. "I'm helping Yuuno find- and seal the Jewel Seeds-- so we can get them somewhere safe. They're. Well. Horrible. And hurt people." she says determinedly.
She glances over to Mikoto and smiles. "I'm sure everyone will be fine! Just because they were sad and upset doesn't mean it'll always be like that!" she says.
She peeks over to Suzuki before looking back at Lindy.
- Mikoto Nakajima has posed:
"I have about ten million questions regarding the history of your planet and your organization, Admiral, but I'm sure that we have more important things to discuss today." Well, no, actually. But the others wouldn't agree with the voice in her head on that, so she lets it rest.
"Such as this Virtue organization you mentioned, for example, and what plans you and your fellow TSAB officers have for your time here."
She steeples her fingers, not quite Gendo Ikari style - she's not wearing Evil Glasses to push up, for one - and looks briefly to Nanoha. "Yes. But it will take time. Time in which anger and pain can fester and grow. And more children will lose their dreams."
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
The words of how ... Lindy talked. A test run, one that didn't work. She frowns slightly as she listens to the mention of her being torn apart and how it's still falling... she frowns slightly. It was a concerned, worried look. She takes a small breath as she muses on that. "...That is... incredibly saddening to hear... I am sorry for your loss, Harlaown-san." She says quietly, her eyes closing as she bows her head in several respectful moments of silence. Was she praying for them? She might be. It certainly had that kind of reverence.
She falls silent, listening to Lindy as she speaks again. The drawing. The statement that she needs to secure them gets a small nod. She carefully lowers her hand again, "Verdrehen Sturm."
<WIEDERHERSTELLEN.>
Another subtle sheen, and once more the Jewel Seed is safely back inside of her Device, and no longer out in plain sight. "...I see. ... I am largely struggling less on specific style, so much as." She pauses, thinking quietly. "...Well, basics." She mumbles quietly. "Energy control, and similar. Even I can tell that my spells waste a lot of energy unnecessarily. Still..." She pauses, eyes closing thoughtfully. "... Well. I don't know." She sips at her tea again. Ugh. Well, there was that idea shot down. The explanation of how it /always/ ends in disaster gets Suzuki's lips shifting into a frown again. "Always? ... Then I am even more concerned for Testarossa-san." She says quietly. Yes. Concerned for /an enemy/.
But was Fate really an enemy? ... Suzuki didn't consider her one. Just someone on the other side of an unfortunate situation. Storm Knight shifts slightly, her gaze shifting briefly towards Yuuno. She had seen that foot thump! Don't think she missed it, even in her observation of the situation. HE IS SO GETTING SCRITCHED LATER! ... When it's not a serious situation. ...Probably.
"Virtue is an organization that is unrelated to the TSAB, and just Lindy happens to be a member of it, I believe." Suzuki says quietly. She wasn't sure what else to say though, because she was definitely not a recruiter, and still relatively new to Virtue! "Anger and pain can both be healed with care and understanding." Suzuki says quietly in response to Mikoto.
- Mint Ship has posed:
Lindy's eyes move up a little. Only a little. Fate's young, but Mid-Childa doesn't discriminate as much on age as Earth. What is surprising is that she's helping seal the Jewel Seeds. "You need to be careful, Takamachi-san. One of those people could be you, if you don't keep your wits about you. That being said, I'll render any assistance I can. My people are also looking for them actively, as well."
"I'm sorry, Nakajima-san, but there are probably nine and a half-million of those I can't answer for security reasons or simply don't know the answer to. Technically even meeting with you is outside the sphere of my directives, but... I am experiencing some exceptional circumstances, as you might well imagine."
Lindy opens the small ceramic pot next to her to reveal a large heaping pile of sugar cubes. She uses tongs to put one into her tea. "Virtue is, at its core, an organization that exists to connect people who want to help each other help others." she says, almost rehersedly. "I integrated the TSAB into it when it became painfully clear we were not getting assistance from off-world."
Another sugar cube in the tea. And then another. "I appreciate your sympathy, Natsume-san." she says. "We are... moving on with our lives in the best way we know how, and beyond that, it's one step at a time. "Mmmm. Testarossa. Why is that name familiar?" she asks, as the fifth sugar cube hits the small teacup. "Well, I can try to get you connected with a trainer - it's better to have you know the basics, especially if that's a belkan device. They don't have the safteies a Mid-device does."
Cubes six and seven fall in next. Then she finally drinks the tea. Which has to be like molasses now.
- Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi looks to Lindy-san and head tilts. "Well. I'm not... not careful!" she says. Yuuno adds. "Cautious. She knows the danger they pose." he adds. "I wouldn't had trusted her with Raising Heart unless I knew she could handle it. Besides. I can't. Not alone." he says.
Nanoha places so sugar into her teacup. Her tea isn't made to be mollases, she sips. She wishes she had some tea biscuits. Oh! She /knew/ she forgot something!--but. Bringing food into an outside establishment! That's rude. Isn't it?
Nanoha listens. "Oh. Is that... Fate's full name?" she asks concernedly. Her eyes trace over to Suzuki, and gives her a sad look before looking back at Lindy, all sad-like. "Fate... seems really sad. She says she's trying to make her mother smile... and that the Jewel Seeds will make her smile again..." she looks down. "Though, she said she doesn't know why her mother wants them..."
She says. "I wish... there was a way to help that. But she seems... to want to help this 'Riventon' more. But...."
"He seemed to care about Fate, too. I wonder if he knows... maybe we can find out..." she wonders out loud.
Then she smiles. She looks back to Mikoto and frowns.
"So, if Ikuto is doing that. Can we stop him?" she asks idly. "Do you know him very well? He ... came to the Warehouse hurt. Was that an accident or...?" she wonders aloud.
- Mikoto Nakajima has posed:
"Thank you, Natsume-san. I've been having a much better experience with my Carnwennan... perhaps we can exchange notes on the subject, and train together. I would be pleased to have a fellow Knight to work with. After all, we did well together once before." Mikoto still has nightmares about the Precure Graveyard. But she has to admit that everyone who made that trip acquitted themselves well.
Like Nanoha, she declines to adulterate her tea, taking a brief sip before speaking again. "I can certainly understand your circumstances, Admiral, and sympathize with your worries. We were... discussing some possibilities, related to that, last night, before we were so messily interrupted."
She looks down briefly, into her teacup, then back up. "Ikuto is a good man. He's in a lot more trouble than most people realize, and he needs help, not more yelling. He was hurt because some jerk decided to try to kill him." She's practically snarling by the time she finishes, the mere thought of what happened to him angering her severely. "And then his royal brattinesss decides to rant at him some more." She shakes her head. "I ever find the guy that did that to him I'm going to show him how the Centai Zel earned their reputation."
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Hmmm. Lindy's words to Nanoha got Suzuki's gaze to shift briefly towards her, a quiet thoughtful look. A protective part of Suzuki wanted to promise she'd make sure that the girl was fine, but... well, she couldn't guarantee that. Heck, she couldn't guarantee Nanoha was a good person. She THOUGHT she was, but... well. Yeah. Still. Her attention returns to Lindy as she speaks of integrating TSAB into it. "...I see, so ... everyone in the TSAB here is integrated with Virtue..." And stranded here. That's unpleasant and unfortunate. Maybe... hmm. Some sort of portal could be made to help them get home sometime, maybe? She began to think on that, then again... she didn't... really know anything about making portals. She couldn't even fly yet!
"That would be appreciated; I have figured out a lot on my own... but it is not ideal, and I can feel it when I use my device. I can't keep up with Verdrehen Sturm's power, and I do not want to be a bad parner for my partner." She mumbles softly, resting her hands on her lap. Yes. What she did was 'not keeping up with Verdrhen Sturm's power'. But then, considering that Verdrehen Sturm was designed with attacking reinforced defensive installations in mind...
And then... Lindy starts adding sugar to the tea. ... And continues adding. "Uhmm.... y-you, uhm... I think you might be adding absentminded..." ... ... ... And then Lindy DRINKS IT. ... As someone who performs formal tea ceremonies, that made a part of Suzuki sob. On the inside. On the outside, she just kind of ... stares at the 'tea' that was now more sugar than tea. "..." She shakes her head slightly.
Nanoha begins to speak, to mention why Fate is trying to get the jewel seeds. Her eyes shift downward as she thinks on that. She could... somewhat empathize with that. She tried so hard, tried to push and become stronger, become the best in everything she could -- for her parent's smile and approval. "...Riventon is helping her, so she's working with and helping him, I'm sure..." She rests her hands on her lap thoughtfully. Hrm... "...So she for sure doesn't know what she's dealing with..."
She glances towards Mikoto, thinking on those words. "...That would poccibly be helpful, yes." Though she thinks she'd rather go with Lindy's instruction right now -- Mikoto was associated with 'Miss White' which means that enemies could get ahold of knowledge of her, more than has already been acquired...which she didn't want to. Hmmm. Well, things had happened in the past. She takes a slow breath. "He seems like he's hurting on the inside. It's good he has someone reliable to help him." She murmurs softly.
- Mint Ship has posed:
Lindy looks at Nanoha. "If you're going to take such a burden on yourself, you should consider looking into assistance. Wether from more friends, or from Virtue. The Jewel Seeds always draw trouble wherever they are." she says. "And even if you do obtain them, do you have a plan to keep them secure?" she asks.
Lindy sighs. "I'm not sure why anyone would want the Jewel Seeds for anything good. Like I said... they have a history, and its an unpleasant one. If they're seeking the jewel seeds, but they won't tell you why - or whoever they're seeking them on behalf of won't - you can rightly assume it's for no good."
"The Centai Zel?" Lindy muses. It's a term she might have heard before, in some book. Somewhere. But she's an admiral, not an archivist or researcher. "Belkan?" is the best she can manage.
"Not everyone." she says, looking at Suzuki. "Some of them decided it was better to live civilan life. To try to start over again on a new planet. Some of them, simply walked away and we don't know. There's a good number of us, but not even the total. Truly, we're not even the TSAB anymore. I think I'm just nostalgic for it, which is why I wear the uniform." she says, with a soft smile.
"Natsume-san, you're already working with Virtue, aren't you? That should be easy to set up, then."
- Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Yuuno speaks on this point. "The idea was to continue my mission to get them into the care of the TSAB. If this is no longer possible..." he frowns a little. "...I wouldn't know then. They might be safe with this 'Virtue' until we can resume contact with the TSAB." he says. Poor Yuuno, so put out by this revelation- her he was thinking he got in contact with some garisson and it's just... a small ragtag group of castaways that apparently haven't heard from home for a very long time!
"Oh. Right. Mikoto-san here managed to rescue a large part of some wrecked ship. Could it be yours?" Nanoha asks softly. She frowns a bit as she listens and turns to face Mikoto. "Centai Zel...?" she thinks on this. That sounds like the name to some anime.
"Mikoto-san, are you from space, too!?" she asks with wide eyes suddenly.
She looks back to Suzuki and says. "You're going to help me figure out... what's going on with Fate. Right?" she asks Suzuki and smiles.
She frowns however, again. She looks down. "I think some things Royale-san was very brash! It's possible he was just trying to make Ikuto care even if it didn't sound like he did. It sounds much like..."
"One doesn't want to cave before the other?... but..."
"That's really, silly isn't it?"
"If you can't talk what you really feel... how will anyone know?" she asks, tilting her head a little at Suzuki.
She looks back at Lindy.
"I'm not really sure about this Virtue, but if Suzuki-chan is a member then it's gotta be good, right?" she asks with a wide smile!
- Mikoto Nakajima has posed:
"It probably is the same ship, yes, Takamachi-san. I've been spending a bit of time this morning sorting out... well, clearly enough some personal effects. There's a box jut outside... I figured they ought to go to someone who knoew who they belonged to, after all."
"But no, I'm not from space... I just happen to have learned quite a few things." She shrugs and sips her tea. "As for the Centai Zel, you might know the Belkan name better... der Graustieg Ritter." The order of the Grey Rose.
- Suzuki Natsume has posed:
Suzuki shifts slightly, thinking on things as she looks towards Lindy, listening to her speak. Hmm. She lifts her fingers to tap her lips. "Fate Testarossa and her mother... if they're from your world, maybe... a-ah wait... you probably don't have access to records or anything like that, since you don't have your ship anymore, huh?" Suzuki says, frowning thoughtfully. Hmmm. "... A-anyway, hmm... I met one of the ones that decided on ... uhm. Vacation time? Lena Reiniger. And... Helix, uhm. she had a device... and had issues with the TSAB. Something about them being too controlling... I can't remember exactly. N-not Lena, but Helix was. Lena was just a belkan knight that seemed concerned about the fact that I have the shotgun-shell-like cartridges." Suzuki says softly.
"Anyway, yes! I do work with Virtue. I joined a little while ago." Nanoha gets a small nod. "Yes. I am already taking steps to learn what I can -- I know a few people who might be able to find out more information, and I've asked them to do what they can to find out what they can, as well as warned them about just how dangerous the Jewel Seeds are." She is relatively certain she convinced Hannah that they were /entirely/ bad news. Nothing good can come of them!
"...And yes. I am a part of Virtue, and I personally believe it to be a good organization. It's made up of all sorts of people, but as a whole I believe it to be good." Suzuki says with a firm nod. The mention of feeling and such gives a slight shrug. "...I can't speak well on that. I am... well. I am not ... entirely bad at socializing, however... I spent a lot of time in homeschool, so I don't have much experience in such things." Even if she tended to be really observant.
She looks towards Mikoto thoughtfully for a few moments, listening to her thoughtfully. Hmmm. She has a box of personal effects? Interesting. She looks towards Lindy. "...Should a piece of the ship fall, what should I keep my eyes out for so that I can get it to you ASAP, Harlaown-san?" Suzuki asks softly.
- Mint Ship has posed:
"It might be. If at all possible you should arrange for some of my people to come and look at it. It might be dangerous, too." Why the TSAB thought it was a good idea to carry so many weapons and artifacts on what should've been a test run always confused Lindy. Even now, she blamed herself for not asking more questions. For what happened. For the trove of dangerous technology falling to this planet as it fell out of phase.
"If you can resume contact we'd like to hear about it, Scrya-san. We've been trying for eight months."
To Mikoto, she looks. "I'm sorry. I'm really not personally familiar with ancient history like that of Belkan orders." she says. It's not an insult, - just honesty that she doesn't know the name by sight. "One of my people might, though. And really, thank you for bringing that affects."
"Yes, we lost much of our records. Some of our crew knows bits and peices, and we're trying to peice it together, but... we've lost a lot of data... when it comes to bringing things to us, anything you can, really. I do not want to be seen as cruel, but your world is somewhat behind ours, so something that might seem useless to you might be priceless to us."
"And yes, the heavier cartridges are more dangerous. That much I can tell you. I would use them sparringly if at all." she advises.
- Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi softly looks at Suzuki. "Should I give some thought about joining then?..." she asks curiously. It does... sound like a place she'd like? Everyone seems really nice, so far, right? Yuuno pipes in. "It might be beneifical. If the TSAB element is there, you'd be able to get help and support easier--- aswell as some more proper training. I can only offer so much more help on that front." he asides.
Nanoha nods a little. "I'll try to speak to someone soon about that then! .... who is that?" she asks. "Was it... Royale-san?" she asks curiously. "Is that right Suzuki?" she asks curiously up at the girl.
She looks back to Lindy. "I...." she looks kind of ashamed. "I kind of blew up the ship piece. I was trying to keep it out of someone's hands- but I didn't think my Divine Buster would blow it to pieces." she mutters.
< Miscalculation. Structure more damaged than realized. > insists Raising Heart in her pocket.
"Yeah..." she mutters.
Yuuno shakes his head. "Well... it was mostly kept out of the wrong hands. I think." he insists. He looks to Lindy. "I've tried various means of offworld communique, but everything seems to either remain unanswered- or I get a lot of feedback."
- Mikoto Nakajima has posed:
Mikoto nods as she listens to Lindy. It is indeed a tragedy that has left the Arthra's crew stranded here, and she would like to do what she can for them... and for those still trapped between dimensions.
"I'm sure such things are long forgotten, now. But if you do have any historians in your survivors... well, I'd like to speak with someone. Catch up on what's been happening in the universe since the last time Carnwennan was updated."
She looks briefly pensive at the mention of lost records, and considers the data cores she's recovered from the wreckage... and resolves to turn them over as soon as she's had a chance to copy them.
"If you want to join, Nanoha, you're welcome to... I'm not so sure myself, but I'm willing to consider it. I'd like to get to know the group better, before committing myself."
- Mint Ship has posed:
Lindy nods. "Frankly... a lot of us are getting ready to settle in here. Dealing with our new world. It's... not terrible." she says with a smile. "Tea's a little bitter, though. But I'd frankly rather you not take the chances. I've seen reports on some of the people that prowl this city, the ones with the black energy. They certainly dont need any of our technology."
To Mikoto, she considers. "I'll see if I've got anyone who can give you any information on that time. Nakajima-san, yes? I still have your message - I'll give you a call if I have anything. Even if I don't now... as strange as this is to say, more people are going to out of subspace and I might have something later." she says with a nod.
"Nanoha, I'll have Royale-kun give you a message as well. You can speak to him. I really don't... handle recruitment." she says with a soft smile.
There's a beeping and she looks at a 'watch' which upon any kind of close inspection is the standby mode for a small intelligent device. "I'm sorry, ladies, but speaking of... one of my men just arrived and he's not doing well." Lindy makes a polite bow. "You should still have that number... just leave a message if you need anything. I'm sorry to leave in such a hurry, but my people take first priority with me. I hope you all are well. Stay safe."
