Kyra Nygaard is the daughter of international industrialists from Denmark, with an interest in magic and faerie tales from her early youth. A tomboyish, adventurous youth, she was born with a spark of magical ability and was frequently drawn to odd occurrences. Unfortunately for the Light, Kyra isn't Kyra anymore, and never really was. Melanite was - /is/, she'll insist - a minor noble of the Golden Kingdom, the Royal Court of Terra. She's also a scholar and student, apprenticed to Queen Beryl directly. She's charming, friendly, courteous... and utterly amoral, ruthless, and pragmatic. She's just as happy to charm your socks off as she is to drain your energy and use it to enspell your best friend into a puppet while you watch. In short... 'Affably Evil'.
