|Profile= Kyouko Sakura is one of the few veteran Puella Magi resident in Tokyo. Her life has seen major changes recently, but it is her hope that these have had the net result of making her a better person. Working part time at a convinience store downtown and living in a tiny apartment all her own, she is trying to balance having a 'normal life' with hunting Witches for the first time in years. She's also taken on an apprentice in that field, Sayaka Miki, and the two seem to work very well together. Only time will tell if this partnership will endure, or go the same way as her previous attempts.

As she turns 18, Kyouko has more or less fully adapted to her role as one of the Shitennou and a member of the Earth Court. No longer a Puella, she is prepared to leave that chapter of her life behind- but that isn't to say her life is any less challenging as she becomes an adult. It was (relatively) easy when all she had to look out for was herself. Now that she has a significant other and an adoptive family, it's not so simple. On top of that she has started to consider what being an adult in this world means, and what responsibilities she might have to the younger people who fight alongside her. One thing's for sure- growing up doesn't mean life gets any simpler.

Relationships

Mamoru Chiba: The Prince of the Earth, Kyouko's boss, and the person she's sworn to protect as a member of the Shitennou. He turned her life around, not single-handedly but without him she literally would not be who she is now. She will always treasure the Name he gave her, viewing it as a second chance to be a better person.

Naru Osaka: Kyouko's long-term girlfriend. It's hard to believe, but they've been together for like two and half years at this point, and their relationship is surprisingly solid despite their differences (or perhaps because of them.) Naru is Kyouko's anchor, keeping her rooted to the world and in touch with reality. Kyouko will defend her more fiercely than anyone aside from Mamoru, and it's a real close thing.

Kunzite: While she was a member of the Dark Kingdom as Apatite, Kyouko latched onto Kunzite as an older-brother-surrogate, and he seemed to fall willingly into the role. Now both free of Beryl's influence, Kyouko considers Kunzite her 'nii-chan' for real, and is closest to him of any of her adoptive brothers. The two understand each other in a way that few others have managed to achieve with Kyouko.

Makoto Kino: If Kyouko has a BFF, it's probably Mako-chan. They have a shared passion for punching bad guys which transcends the other differences in their demeanors. The two have been training together regularly for several years, resulting in formidable teamwork when they need to fight side-by-side. Plus, Mako-chan likes to feed people, and Kyouko likes to eat.

Usagi Tsukino: Mamoru's girlfriend, Usagi has become a close friend of Kyouko's over the years. The two share an unrepentant passion for food, and their 'dates' to the local burger joint have become a thing of infamy. Kyouko still wears the coat Usagi gave her several years ago in the winter, treasuring it as a valued gift.

Momo Sakura: Kyouko's little sister, miraculously returned from the dead as a Puella Magi. Kyouko cares more about her than nearly anything else, feeling as though she's been given a second chance to make good on her greatest mistake. Although it's made life tougher for her in a few ways, Kyouko does her absolute best to support and care for Momo, and wouldn't trade her for the world despite the increased work her presence means.

Hannah Sharpe: Her alter-ego, Miss White, was Kyouko's biggest enemy in Tokyo shortly after her arrival. After failing to recruit her, Miss White captured Kyouko and conducted experiments on her. After escaping (with Mami's help), Kyouko went on a campaign of revenge against Miss White that nearly killed her, and ended up with Kyouko losing her magical powers entirely. Since then, realizing her own desire for vengeance was threatening to destroy her, Kyouko has made peace with Hannah, although she still doesn't like her much.

Homura Akemi: A veteran Puella, Kyouko and Homura have been at odds since Kyouko's arrival in Tokyo. Recently this relationship has warmed somewhat. The two still don't like each other, but Kyouko feels like she understands Homura better, and they are able to stand each other's presence and even work together occasionally without coming to blows.

Sayaka Miki: An important friend to Kyouko. Kyouko found herself drawn to the blue-haired girl almost at once when they first met, and the feeling seemed mutual. Although Kyouko has a lot of other responsibilities now, and her life has moved on in many ways, she still values her friendship with Sayaka and will go to great lengths to preserve it.

Takashi Agera: The quintessential unrepentant asshole. Kyouko has been of the 'stab now, ask questions later' camp when it comes to Agera for years. Thankfully he seems to have retired, for the time being, though Kyouko refuses to believe he is out of her hair for good.

Madoka Kaname: Sayaka's friend. Kyouko has come to be rather fond of the pink-haired Puella, and while it would be a mistake to call them close friends, Madoka has encouraged Kyouko a few times when she needed it and Kyouko appreciates that.

Mami Tomoe: An old friend of Kyouko's from Kazamino. She and Kyouko were a team way back when Kyouko first became a Puella, but had a violent falling out after Kyouko's family was killed. These days their relationship is best described as 'lukewarm', not overtly hostile but often still tense.
